A question to the Eds or anyone ITK. Do Liverpool have an interest in Anderlects Charly Musonda? If not, why not, as he is top top class, and is the type of player Comolli should have at the top of his list. {Ed002's Note - But he must be 40 by now.}

Hi Ed,
Was just wondering whether it is true Josh McEachran's contract is up in the summer? If so, do you think he would be a viable option in the summer? Personally rate him as a very good prospect, but slightly injury prone due to his frame IMO.

Quick question Ed The way H & G and Hodgeson left LFC it was obvious that no world class/fan favourite player would want to join us but now that we have Kenny back at the helm and won a cup albeit not an amazing cup but still a cup do you think Commoli meant people being interested in joining LFC are Big players or just players who he thinks are decent like Sissoko being a replacement for Gerrard but IMO that is ridiculous he is not worthy to shine stevie G's shoes

hi ed wot are the chances of geting eriksen he is really good {Ed002's Note - Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and AC Milan have shown an interest in Eriksen. He has already rejected both Manchester City and Chelsea but AC Milan remain the most interested club. Back in mid July someone from the Milan Press Office told me he had heard of interest from Manchester United and that may well be the case. The player has expressed an interest to move to Spain.}

How are we week? henderson plays quite well when gerrards is out when he is in gerrards posistion. shelvey in my mind will be quite good and coady will be in for lucas in a year or so. you also must count SUSO one of our best CM prospects in my opinion

i thinl aquilani should be given one season at liverpool to prove himself again. i was watching some videos on youtube when he played for liverpool his passing is just as good as adam and he can shoot better, i know youtube videos dont give it an excuse but i would give him another chance.

Aquilani does not want to play in England or for LFC. There is no giving him a chance because he has no intention of earning a place in the side. I don't even think Charlie Adam showing him what a winners medal looks like would change his mind.....

Aquilani for me is far better than Adam overall in almost all departments maybe bar freekicks and penalties but after that Adam penalty i may even reconsider penalties. However as people have said, this one is a no brainer, for a guy who clearly is at loggerheads with anything to do with England. We have no say in this, he wants to play ONLY in Italy, so be it. The only worry as always is that we make a great deal of loss interms of how much we get for him compared to how much we bought him for.
If only he could settle down in England. This guy for me would be on par with the likes of Modric with ease. His vision is excellent and he is incredibly composed. However, he lacks in physical strength and does go missing in some games, but all round, a better player for me than Adam barring that he agreed to play in England...

Aquilani is a central attacking midfielder (where Gerrard plays). To be in the the LFC team he'd have to play much deeper (where Adam somtimes plays). Adam won't win awards as a defender but he will stay home and pass the ball well. Aqua looks great trying to work those pretty triangles but he needs to work in a compact field and needs to be a 2-way player; neither of which will happen.
This is aside from not wanting to be here.

Don't think Gerrard will start tbh, he's played 120 minutes on Sunday. Parker suspended atm so more sensible captain choice if Gerrard won't play 90 minutes. Would still have preferred it be given to Hart over Parker though; people forget Parker was a journeyman midfielder up until 2009, and it will be embarrassing if he now plays a stinker on the biggest stage

Hi Eds, I know you're tired of transfer-questions and that you need a break, but - Since we won the league cup, and pushing for the 4th place, do you think there's a small chance of Hazard joining? I'm sure the oweners would pay the price. And since we know at least have Euro League, I think he could be interested in a move. He would make a difference and he knows that, and we're making progress eaither way if Champions Leauge is achived or not. If Hazard is out of the question I would love to see Gaston Ramirez join, and Abel Hernandez
Thank you {Ed001's Note - the chance is more likely because his attitude has put off other clubs, that is the main issue. He has made comments about England being a stepping stone to Spain etc. If we bought him I would be very disappointed.}
Not a question of probability but would you personally rather Eriksen? {Ed002's Note - I think Eriksen would be an option if CL was obtained but may still otherwise be an option. I would not rule him out at all.}

Hi ed, its been known for a while that Comoli likes Hazard, and like you said the chances of signing him have improved. A few players will almost dead cert be leaving in summer - a la, Aurelio, Aquilani and Cole. I've also been told about Johnson leaving though? Imo that would be a bad move! Obviously Kuyt and Maxi are 2 other names...but both can stay unless they really want to leave (or so I'm told)... My question is, if Hazard were to come in, do yoyou think Cole will perm switch to Likle? Surely he still holds a value of around 3m after his decent spell in France? Thanks, Is Red {Ed001's Note - I expect Cole to join them permanently anyway, he is enjoying his time there.}

I cannot believe that Scott Parker was chosen ahead of Steven Gerrard for the England captaincy. It's just crazy. Gerrard has always been loyal to England, held his head high through the rough times. Gerrard has amassed 89 caps for England, compared to Parker's 10 caps. So *$&$#*$*# dissappointed with Pearce's choice... Yes, Parker has been amazing this season, but Gerrard has been amazing for 10 seasons...

Scott Parker is a credit to himself and any team he plays for, he's Mr genuine, never mouths off to the ref, always gives 100%, he deserves to have the captaincy, even if just for one game. I still think that it will be Gerrard for the tournament as Parker unlike Gerrard will be playing the whole 90 mins tonight seeing as he is suspended for Tottenhams clash with Man U. Hilly

I'm not particularly bothered by the captaincy, even though it should have gone to Gerrard. What bothers me most is Pearce making an obvious play for the job fulltime. It will be an absolute disaster for England in the Euro's. Mind you, nothing surprises me with the FA, they are an accident waiting to happen. I hope Bernstein is not involved in the Managerial selection process. You only have to look at his appointments in the world of business to know how clueless he is!

I think it is more to do with parker being the London press's current little golden boy and pearce trying not to upset them.
Spurs fan here - Gerrard is undoubtedly your captain fantastic, but he finds it harder to start games and play 90 mins now because of his injury problems. based on this seasons recent performances, parker has deserved it. theres no point saying how good they've been in the past, if that was the case then they should wheel out bobby moore to be the next captain. Gerrard is an absolute guaranteed starter alongside scott until at least the euros, but the major problem will have been fitness

As a Liverpool fan, i'm not really bothered about this, gerrard isn't going to be fit enough to play every England game so it would be pointless, Parker has played incredibly well over the year and did deserve his chance. Gerrard not playing every game will also benefit Liverpool incredibly, as well as make him eager to prove himself for captaincy again. Bit of a win-win situation if you ask me.
