Hi eds, iv heard we are or very recently was intrested in Adam Szalai and at 24 still young... Just wounderd if there is any truth to what I have heard ?

Heard from a good source. While Anfield is being expanded Liverpool will ground share with everton. Think its a good idea. Everton will recieve a fee and we wont lose as much in gate reciepts.
Wondering if any eds have heard anything?

Its a good idea were not exactly over loaded with cash. Looks like were gonna redevelop two stands.
So while the work is going on it cuts our attendance/ revenue in half. Would it be that bad?

Seen Brad Smith again today and he told me that we are 100% trying to bring Didier Drogba in during the next few weeks so just thought I'd let you guys know.

Seen Ian ayre on Sunday night in a pizza shop In town. I asked him about the drogba rumour an he said no chance. I asked him about hunterlar and he said no comment. Means nothing about huntelar but there's no chance with drogba, but you didn't need me to tell u that really did u!

Just spoken to a friend who knows Daniel Sturridge from his man city days. He told me that Daniel would not consider a move to us (lfc) in January as he wants to stay an fight for his position. So we can rule him out! I personally think a move for either doumbia,welliton or adrian would be best suited.

The lad has a point here, I can confirm we did meet Damaio representitive in the Marriot hotel to hold discussions. I know this because I work in PR for Marriot and his agent's name appeared on our registar to look after him, Ian Ayre met this guy on a Wednesday night at 9pm GMT, however the content of the meeting I have no clue about but the obvious outcome was that we would not be able to do a deal this time round.

Good player but out of our reach can't see owners funding for class players for few years. We are a club with big expectations at the same time need to depend on kids to drive us foward thise is only the way I can see us our club being run

The Marriot has a PR department? Weird, most hotels don't. I work at the Crowne Plaza and we don't have a PR department, we have sales and reception. Why would a hotel need a PR department?
He would also have been booked under a different name, and frankly, he would probably had been staying at the Hilton or Malmaison.
I doubt that we couldn't afford Dempsey. I think Fulham played hard ball with us and we refused to part with 6mil.

His profile reads a bit like Danny Graham. Will get 10-12 goals a year inside the box - will not go away from players with pace. So, he may be realistic BR rumour - At £8m that is too much of a gamble - for £10-£12m we can possibly get Huntelaar or Walcott ( with big salaries ).

Didn't Mata say earlier in the transfer window before Chelsea signed him that he would love to play for Liverpool, it was either him or his dad.. you can't deny that dalglish and his failure in the transfer market has cost us dearly, if you only recruit English players then you will never be a top team {Ed001's Note - his dad did, but that was prior to the likes of Chelsea showing interest.}
So our penny pinching got us Downing when a bit extra would have got us an actual player..... This is Liverpool now get used to it.

hi eds, just wondered if our interest in Gary Hooper is real? im not his biggest fan tbh and surely Celric would try and demand a high transfer fee? cheers red89 {Ed002's Note - The interest is real. As in any transfer, the selling club would want as much as they can get.}

We had a debt of 7 million before we sold Ki to Swansea for 6.5m and then reached the champions league group stage for another 20 Million. We are sitting 2nd in our group and look good for European football after xmas in the shape of Champions league or Uefa Cup so will add more to that 20m.
Further to this we have 1 of the hottest properties in British football in Victor Wanyama who could be sold for a very good fee in the summer and could be replaced easier than Hooper.
Hooper will end up in England but it wont be because Celtic need the money we are 1 of the best run clubs in world football with a fraction of the income of the EPL

Need to ask you really important Qs.
I read somewhere that Moussa Sissoko (Toulouse), the player that we scout past few years, his contract will expired soon & other team can strike pre-contract agreement in Jan.
I think given Lucas Leiva will take time to recover and get to his best, why dont Liverpool sign Sissoko.
What worries me is I heard that Newcastle gonna snap him & get pre-contract agreement with him.
What is ur comment on this?
Would love to have him at LFC.

Ed002 do you think there is any truth in the report in the times that we are going to bid for eriksen in january? Also could drogba come on loan? {Ed002's Note - Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and AC Milan have shown some level of interest in Eriksen in the past year or so. He has already rejected both Manchester City and Chelsea but AC Milan remain the most interested club. The Milan Press Office were convinced of interest from Manchester United and they have let it be known that they expected a bid to be made by for Eriksen who remains adament that he will stay in Amsterdam for18 more months before moving to Spain. Expect AC Milan and Roma to press if a bid is made by Manchester United.
As for Drogba, I don't see a loan is viable right now.}
Ed how come drogba loan is not viable? i know his wages are high but for a few months we could cover it {Ed002's Note - He is contracted to another club; the loan window is closed; I would doubt Liverpool would want to pay £200k a week; would he be interested?}
