Good Evening Eds,

I know LFC were/are looking at Victor Valdes who is a 'free agent'. I was wondering whether LFC are looking at any other 'free agents' to bring in as potential cover? though I'm hoping that BR brings in some of the youth from the Academy this season.

Apart from competition in goal, we have decent squad depth for the first time in about 10 years or more, dipping into the free agent market for the sake of it is the last thing we need to be doing.

{Ed002's Note - Suso is still at the club. If the club and the player cannot agree a new contract Liverpool will look to move him on in January rather than have him walk in the summer. Ilori is on loan in France at Bordeaux. I suspect he might well look to move on next summer.}

Would be hard to blame Ilori, honestly, if he wanted to move on somewhere else. I suspect if he had known he would get nowhere near the first team and instead go on loan to random locations around Europe, he might well have stayed where he was.

I actually think Ilori will replace Toure next summer - maybe even go above Skrtel in the pecking order if he does well at Bordeaux.

I would like to think that Ilori, Sakho, Lovren +1 would be our CBs next season but I fear for all the players away on loans being Brendaned. Even Ibe.

If you read the echo or this is anfield or the official website or any number of other sites you'd find the answer to this for yourself. I don't get why people come on here and post a question like that, then wait for a reply. Isn't that why Ed002 invented Google?

Was going to say the same thing, it was on the official site last night, fans should have that bookmarked on computers, tablets and smart phones and should really be the first place to look and leave the Eds alone to answer questions you can't find answers to!

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interested clubs aside, seemingly, from Liverpool at this time. Previously Manchester City, Roma and Monaco looked to him but they have dropped their interest. His other option is the MLS.}
