Salah all but done. Minor things wrapped up over the weekend. Would take a random event for us not to sign him now. Will be announced early next week.

He was mentioned a few times, VVD has been mentioned on a regular basis by every rag and media outlet and Solanke was also reported as a done deal a long while ago, seems for once the media has guessed right (although if you throw a lot of rubbish it sticks)

Hi, is there any truth in the Mahrez rumour? Toward the end of last season I was thinking he'd be great for us. Although his fee would probably extortionate. I think he'd cost twice what is rumoured to be Salam price. Still someone I like (good left boot)

Poor attitude, can be lazy and put on a great disappearing act last season. No thanks for me. We are getting a much better and consistent player in Salah who has never been accused of showing lack of effort or passion. Salah is everything Klopp wants in a player, Mahrez definitely not.

Do we have any interest whatsoever in Manolas or Jonathan Tah. Fell both woukd be far better signings than VVD who i do not think would improve us much. Although if we do sign VVD he will have my full support.

Simple really i don't really rate VVD but i will and have always supported every player that plays for us regardless of my opinion on them. Never see any good in slagging our own players off. While i don't think he is good enough i hope if he did sign he would go on to be brilliant for us and i would admimoriginal opinion on him was incorrect.

Emre has been told to get some R&R after the season and Jurgen came to Australia, it should be resolved early July now, they thought it could been done beforehand but they want to make Emre feel special.

In my opinion it's very difficult to see ings having a Liverpool career now. As well as coming back from 2 seasons out, he'd have to force his way ahead of firmino, sturridge, origi and presumably solanke for our 1 striker position. I can see him going on loan when eventually fit.

I think we play better with 2 up front. We have lots of footy on this season, potentially anyhow, so will need strikers - and there will be injuries/ fitness issues.
Inge was quality when he was on the pitch, I hope he gets a chance.
I also think Firmino is better in a 10 position. Inge sniffs out goals Firmino doesn't seem to.

I can't see him having a problem forcing out sturridge and Origi if I'm honest. Klopp will give him his chance when fit and we can just hope that he takes it and strengthens the attacking options again.

While I wish Ings all the best and hope he hits the ground running, I think most are underestimating the consequences of two consecutive anterior cruciate ligament injuries. Two years without any competitive football. I'm no doctor, but I know it's very difficult to recover from them, and most of the time players simply are not the same anymore. I hope he's able to contribute some key goals over the season, but I'd rather not have pressure piled on to him.

I'd love us to go 2 up. I think ings and firmino could work well together but I can't see it happening with a new winger coming in because there would be no space for couts then.
