If Jurgen Klopps facebook page is any indicator it looks likely that Jonas Hector is on his way to LFC for GBP12m!

It is silly season, one so called news outlet linked us with Gibbs from Arsenal, which would be a serious downgrade from Moreno. At the end of the day as long as we avoid the likes of Gibbs, any Southampton players, Vardy, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Yarmelenko then it's a half decent summer.

Maybe that was Jayden Kloops twitter account? He is in the know about all to do with Accrington Stanley! Who are they?

Liverpool have enquired about the possibility of taking El-Ghazi of Ajax.
Ed02, you are simply a genius.

There are also reports of N'koudou today as well. I don't want to blow ed002's trumpet too hard, but his/ her transfer knowledge is impressive!

Cobra

There are 3 specific sides looking at him with an interest to take him. Liverpool was one of them and Ed02 revealed it some 6 months ago. That according to me is a top class information and insight.

Schalke 04 have turned down an offer from Liverpool for Leroy Sané, they are going to up their offer but it will be the final one, this player in the past has said he's desire is to play for Barcelona.

Hey Ed's, we all appreciate the work you guys put into the site, my question relates to long term suggestions that Klopp wants a squad reshuffle, so do you think Klopp is actively looking to offload a decent number of players from the squad e. g. 4 or 5 and if so who do you think is most at risk of being shipped out? Also, what are the chances of any new coaching staff coming in after the 2 from Bayern joined us a few weeks back? Cheers for any reply.

Believable0 Unbelievable20

{Ed002's Note - The club have to lose considerably more players than they can add this summer. I have no idea about coaching and you need to understand that Nemmer and Kornmayer are not football coaches at all. Rangers are taking Rossiter. Swansea approached Liverpool in respect of taking Joe Allen on loan in January - it was rebuffed then but interest may exist in the summer. Milan may well take Balotelli but fear that they may need to renegotiate the price - else other options in Italy will be sought. Fenerbahce will look to sign Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic in the summer after a successful loan period but the player will look to discuss his future with the club - and he wants guarantees (I don't know if the club will give them or not). Trabzonspor want to take Yesil from Liverpool and have already made an approach to the club. Sinclair is off to Watford - and Enrique will leave. Teixeira has no future at Liverpool and will leave with interest from Sousa (but no agreement with Fiorentina but I expect tehre will be) and Zenit who are already looking at the market and sorting out another critical roll at the club. Coutinho is of interest to PSG and Sakho to Besiktas. I don't think there are any plans for Lucas to leave right now but If Lucas were to leave and a decision made not to promote any of the youngsters then perhaps the club would look to a replacement from outside. Joe Gomez has a lot of potential and the injury was a very significant disruption to his career. Part of the problem was always going to be related to the step up from playing centre back at a lower tier to playing it in the Prelemier League. As a full back it seems very clear that Klopp does not consider him as a viable option to start the season with. The option of a 6 month loan is there, and then the club can reconsider whether they need him for the latter part of the season. I would be rather surprised if he did not head to Celtic on a 6 month loan and very surprised if he doesn't go on loan somewhere. The club cannot keep adding players to an already bloated squad. Don't be surprised if Ibe doesn't make the cut at Liverpool. Ibe will very likely move on. Bogdan will move on. Benteke and Alberto will probably leave.}

04 Jun 2016 14:59:14
Is it Sakho or Skrtel that is of interest to Besiktas?

Agree0 Disagree16

{Ed091's Note - Skrtle I thought

04 Jun 2016 16:39:19
I'd put money on Skrtel going before Sakho.

04 Jun 2016 11:35:03
Hi Ed's, are we looking to sign an attacking wide midfielder? Someone in the mould of Draxler or Yarmolenko?

Believable1 Unbelievable16

{Ed002's Note - As there was interest in Dennis Praet then it is certainly a position that Klipperty has considered. It won't be Praet now as he is nearing agreement to move elsewhere.}

04 Jun 2016 17:42:45
Where is praet heading ed, if you don't mind :)?

{Ed002's Note - Sevilla.}

05 Jun 2016 12:28:53
Cheers Ed's. I've never seen Praet play but if he's as talented as he sounds then surely he'd rather a move to the EPL. I'm sure he'd earn at least twice as much with us than with Sevilla.

Agree1 Disagree7

{Ed002's Note - I guess if Middlesbrough make an offer that is acceptable to Anderlecht then Praet would consider the terms offered.}

05 Jun 2016 18:41:45
Ed I've been to both Seville and Boro, I think I'd take Seville, there's not enough money in the work to make any rational person go to Boro! 😂😂😂.

Seems to be lots of fans wanting another left back, but with Gomez potentially being fit and ready for the start of next season, will Moreno start ahead of him anyway? Rogers deployed Gomez as a LB, and he did really well! Granted, I know the plan is to use Gomez as a CB later in his career. Just seems that if there isn't the ideal LB right now, why buy another mediocre player to fill the position when Gomez and/ or Flanagan can do a job.?

Believable4 Unbelievable18

{Ed002's Note - I really don't see that Gomez has a future with Liverpool under Klopp. The opportunity of a loan is there and I expect Liverpool to take it.}

04 Jun 2016 10:27:06
That's a big statement ed002 and such a shame if true. Perhaps a loan or sell with a buy back clause because the lad has a lot of potential.

Agree4 Disagree20

{Ed002's Note - I agree Joe Gomez has a lot of potential and the injury was a very significant disruption to his career. Morning Ed002, not questioning your comment just surprised Klopp doesn't see a Liverpool future for Gomez. I think he is a good young center back, but not being the manager it doesn't matter.
I am not in the know with no contacts unlike the Eds here, so I take the Eds comments with interest.

Agree2 Disagree14

{Ed002's Note - I would be fearful of Klopp filling up the squad with padding and with players with "future potential". The likes of Gomez and Ibe may well be victims of what is to come.}

04 Jun 2016 10:44:18
Big shame if klopp doesn't see a future for him, because before the injury he had been a big plus to an otherwise poor start to the season!

Agree1 Disagree19

{Ed002's Note - My note above should have said "Klopp doesn't consider him ..." - it is Rodgers who wants him at Celtic.}

04 Jun 2016 10:56:32
Is the what's to Come a complete squad overhaul Ed?
I think over his first two seasons at Dortmund he cleared out over twenty players?

Wonder if Square tomato has anything on Joe Gomez?

Agree1 Disagree19

{Ed002's Note - The squad needs a good clear out regardless. I don't know what his plan is right now but it is clear that he is interested in a number of younger players with potential - some of which have been of interest to LIverpool for some time.}

04 Jun 2016 11:10:44
Agree we need a good clearout but one thing we definitely don't need is padding 😄
Our padding should consist of the likes of Brannagan, Gomez, Ibe, Ojo, Stewart, Grujic, Ings.

We don't need padding, we need quality. Hope Kloppo realises this before we're saddled with more fringe players on king's wages.

I hope Joe gomez stays. he started very well before the injury. And I'll disagree with the lb role. I think he's more than capable of making it his own IF given the chance. Would be a shame to see him go.

04 Jun 2016 11:19:31
Such a shame about Gomez. Really hope his loan is hugely successful and he forces himself back into klopps plans, however with chilwell and possibly another left back coming in it seems unlikely.

Agree3 Disagree18

04 Jun 2016 11:21:41
Admittedly the squad is far too big, and we need to shift a lot of players to make room for new additions. I admit surprise to some of the names linked with exits, ibe, Gomez etc but guess we will have to wait and see what klopps plan is.
I am also surprised we are being linked with Rodgers' old targets considering he didn't have best track record. Again guess it's a case of wait and see!

Agree1 Disagree18

04 Jun 2016 11:41:40
He's only young especially for a centre back. A loan will be best for him if he stays or not. He's not good enough to start for us yet, so if he's fit he needs to be playing.
If he's going to be good enough, then he'll shine on his loan, and hopefully come back.

Joe Gomez looked better than Emre Can in the few games he played.

Dont think we will let go of such talented player so easily.

I believe Eds is simply saying that Gomez isn't in the immediate plans for Klopp this coming season. With the injury Gomez should be given time on the pitch to get fully fit and continue developing, yet there is going to be limited chances on this already full squad and just Premier league matches to expect. hence a 6 month loan or something of the sorts. I highly doubt he's being shopped around for a transfer.
