Hey eds,
is there any chance of juan cuadrado of fiorentina?
seems to have had a decent year in the serie a and he plays as a wing forward, a position we need

Hi Eds do you think there is any chance of Suso returning and playing first team football next season, especially with rumours of Shiqiri/Griezmann/Ayew and even Borini coming back? I haven't really seen that much of him in Spain but heard murmurings that he's not doing to badly.
thanks

Believable11 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - Sure. But I am sure several Spanish sides would like to take Suso not least Valencia, but they need to resolve their ownership issues and Almeria, but the best they could offer would be a loan. Borussia Moenchengladbach and Porto have both shown interest in the player and would be interested in taking him this summer.}

He's been sent off in todays game against Betis.

Agree0 Disagree0

Borini's got to be shipped out. Just because he's put in a few decent performances for a bottom of the table side doesn't qualify him to play for Liverpool. He's slow, slight, and doesn't get anywhere near enough goals to merit a return. He will just be another Aspas if he comes back

Agree2 Disagree6

I would give him a 3 year contract and send him on loan to Valencia or Sevilla, there is not point in having him at the club as a back up player, he needs game time at a top level league. or use him in a deal for one of Danilo, Sandro, Quintero or Iturbe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anybody who has seen his performances on the whole this season he has been good and will offer a good alternative to Coutinho

Agree2 Disagree0

Loan him to a premier league team instead of spanish teams or give him a go now

Hi Eds,
First time poster. More of a question than a rumour, but would u know if Liverpool are interested in Alex song from barca? He doesn't play much for them, was very good at arsenal and I would imagine we could get him for £10-£15m. He's also in his mid 20's so he ticks a lot of boxes! Thanks

{Ed002's Note - Spurs, Roma and Everton have all shown an interest in Alex Song. There is additionally speculation linking Manchester United, Inter, Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal with the player. There has been no interest shown by Liverpool.}

Morning all.

Ed001. You answered a question about Ander Herrera saying that you believed he will be staying put this summer.
Can you tell me whether it is true that we have scouted him on a few occasions this season? Also, with 2 years left on his contract, has LFC shown ANY interest as regards contact for the player. IE. Approached either club or agent.

At 24 he looks a beast of a player and IMO could be the ideal replacement when out talisman Gerrard decides to hang up his boots.Your thoughts would be very much appreciated.

{Ed001's Note - no, Bilbao have no need or desire to sell, and he is only going to go for top price. We have scouted Athletic, but I am told it was their young left back we have an interest in. Enric Saborit. Iturraspe and Moran are also of slight interest. The problem is that it is a club that has little use for the money. They are financially stable and have a very limited market to buy players from.}

What is this limited pool you are talking about ed? Read something like that somewhere but did not really understand it?
P.S you still think we are in with a chance for the title after city's win
I got a gut feeling that Carroll is going to decide it

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It near exclusively has only ever used Basque players.}

I was very impressed with San Jose. He is the one that got away for us. What a player he'd have been for us. Alas!

Thanks Ed.
I knew they were in a healthy position financially.
I just wondered if the player himself wanted maybe to ply his trade some where else.
If he would see a move to LFC as a step forward in his career and if he could make it in the EPL. (In your opinion)

{Ed002's Note - He rejected a move to Manchester United when they had won the league, so no. And of course Liverpool has shown no interest in him.}
