Hey Ed’s, love site I’m new too this but been reading posts for few years now, just want say keep up good work we all appreciate work and info that you process us. And one last thing is there any interest in Leon Goretzka from Shalke as I know his contract running down and think be seriously good addition especially if and be most likely Can leaves on free in summer cheers Ed’s.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

{Ed002's Note - Thanks. Schalke have offered Leon Goretzka a very good new contract and he is mulling that over whilst he is aware of offers from Barcelona and Juventus that will be formalised in January. Additionally his representatives have spoken with three English sides (not Liverpool) and are awared of renewed interest from Bayern Munich, although that is complicated by regulation. Arsenal having taken a new employee on board are certainly interested and I would not rule out Manchester United but he is perhaps third pick for them. For reasons that are beyond me, many Liverpool fans are convinced that he has already agreed to join the club. Liverpool's interest stems from when they were struggling to agree a deal for Keita and he was seen as a potential option. Bayern Munich are making it known that they would offer a guarantee for the summer but they cannot speak to him in January - although they will continue to make their position clear to his agent. The player has said he would like to move to Barcelona.}

hi eds,
anything in the aubameyang rumours?
reading reports LFC could well sell studger, origi and ings and go for him?
if we sell all three doesn't sound bad but his wages might probably cut off any deal.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Dortmund are willing to let Aubameyangadingdong go as they are sick of the backage. He has been offered to a couple of clubs and Liverpool might well be interested - but someone would need to make way from the first team - not the players you have listed. It is reasonable that Ings could get a loan and Origi may well want to stay in Germany in the summer. Aubameyangadingdong has been offered to an English side and an Italian side already. The Italian side see the price as high for the risk of disruption, and they are currently in turmoil. The English side is looking at someone else initially. Sturridge I don't know. But none of these are really starters. I would not rule it out but I am not aware of any approach.}

So sell three hard working squad players and sign a disruptive flake who will want to start ahead of our front 3? And that too for an obscene amount of money? No chance unless Salah leaves in the summer.

Ed when you say someone would need to leave mate I take it would have to be the likes of Firmino, Couts, Mane etc?

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - He would want to be a starter - so go figure.}

05 Dec 2017 10:48:27
A 4-2-3-1 with Mane, Firmino and Salah behind Aubameyang would be incredible. Don’t think it would be my priority though as the defence must be our first thought and with the goals we’re scoring is it really worth the disruption?

If our "Transfer Committee" have half a brain between them they'll leave well alone but I'm not sure they have the half of a brain.

Only way I’d see it possible for PEA to be in the first team would be to drop bobby into coutinho role once he’s on that plane to Barcelona.

Yeah right. wasnt Sadio Mane also seen as disruptive? He had prior disciplinary issue with Koeman. Looks what happen. We are not talking about some random striker. We are talking about most prolific striker last season in whole Europe. He is in bracket Lewandowski, Suarez, Kane. So please wise up and talk sense when you guys write as if he is another striker like Balloteli.

There is a difference between a player who is disruptive because he doesn't fully apply himself and it gets on people's nerves, and one who just sacks off full games cause he wants to go out on the lash with his mates. He is more of a problem for squads than balotelli is, that's why he's discussed like balotelli by anyone who knows the first thing about him.

Bottom line is klopp knows him. If he wants to sign him he will have confidence that can manage any issues and find a place for him in the starting 11. If he is a disruptive force surely Klopp will let it be known to the transfer folks to stay away. Nothing to worry about at all folks.

Ed002 mate. which clubs (to the best of your knowledge) are currently showing any interest in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - See above - I have said that they have spoken to a couple of clubs - and that is it at the moment.}

I was at the recent Dortmund v Bayern game and kept a beady eye on Aubameyang as i was keen to see how good he was. What a let down. He was a passenger for the whole game and did nothing, with Robben stealing the show. Admittedly, this is a single game, against Bayern and i had been sampling the local beers for most of the day, but from that showing, i wouldn't want him. On a side note, 83,503 people singing you'll never walk alone is truly a wonderful experience. especially with beer.

Ed is there any truth that where looking for a striker Bec firmino is guna play coutino role when he leaves?

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Liverpool looking for strikers in January. The club is doing just great going forward and I doubt even Klopp would be stupid enough to screw that up right now.}

05 Dec 2017 19:10:54
Thanks Ed way I’d read it seemed more about summer plans when coutino leaves.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - I am pretty certain Liverpool are not making plans like that right now.}

Am I wrong to think this would be a poor move for the club?
