maybe the £15 mill you heard about was for another jordan as in jordan Ibe who was sold to b'mouth for £15 mill, just a thought.

Intrigued as to how many of those better midfielders are yet more of the attacking midfield players that everyone keeps wanting to sign without anyone behind them.

based on what people keep saying we'll be playing a gk, 1 or 2 in defence and 6 or 7attacking midfielders.

If Klipperty is interested in a pretty average Argentinian right back who they would need to pay well over the odds for in both transfer fee and wages in order to try and get a work permit then it makes zero sense to me. Unless Clyne or Flanagan are going to move on as he will also take up a none home grown slot in the squad. But then Klopp thought Caulker a good move?}

I agree, it would be a very strange one. He's 29 and no better than what we have. Makes no sense at all.
We have Clyne, Flanagan, Gomez, Randall and even Wisdom.
If we were to sign a right-back I assume it would be an upgrade on what we have, this guy is not that.

Any news on what the balotelli latest is? Are any suitors expected or will he indeed be with us next season as he claims? Last I can see was that interest was not there. Do Liverpool have any idea of what to do with him?

Second question - if we sell benteke do we expect that to be reinvested into the squad or are we on a set course regardless? (Ie - might we see one or two new names we've not already been linked with)

seeing bezema to liverpool reports flying round the net any legs on this please. Reports suggest that Liverpool are in pursuit of French, Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. Benzema has recently shared views that he may be unsettled at Real Madrid as he doesn’t like playing football in the shadow of players like Ronaldo and Bale.

{Ed002's Note - Real Madrid might say otherwise but they would be more than happy to move Benzema on this summer although the player is keen to stay. PSG continue to look for a high-profile French signing - and Benzema is one of the options if the off-field issues he has to deal with can be overcome. However, the powers that have influence at PSG have other targets in mind and do not see his being French as being of any consequence and I would, at this time, discount a bid. Milan has spoken directly to Madrid about another player and have noted that Benzema is not a player they can look to any longer - and with a change of manager coming I suspect they can be discounted. There may also be interest from English clubs at some point but none has made any approach just yet. Could be very difficult to sell whilst other matter remain unresolved.}

People make jokes about footballers being stupid and Benzema just gives them justification. He is playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, getting paid a fortune and would prefer to play at being a wanna be gangster (and a not very successful one at that) .
