heard that mignolet deal is already in place, announced in summer. fee between 7 and 9 mill

I would be stunned if Sunderland agreed to a fee that low. Not to mention the crazy suggestion of a deal in place this far off the transfer window!

then they would prefer to go down.
he is awful and has been awful.
cant understand. or believe. how can a striker survive with just heading abilities?

^ Do you watch football?

Erm, isn't Mignolet a keeper?

Bufoonery his best position is clearly on the left wing

Brendan Rodgers want christian eriksen, an upgrade for downing and a quality centre back. with not much money in the anfield coffers, the majority of our expenditure will come from the sales of Carroll, coates, downing, assaidi, and skrtel.

Sell downing get dzsudsak

Im sure Rodgers wants him as do many clubs want, we would all like to have him but it is a very very slim chance

Not going to happen, he will be going to spurs!

Yes we want and need a quality center back to replace Carra. But if we sell Skrtel / Coates as well, which is possible, we will need 2.

Carroll for ben arfa. there's your upgrade

Ins
GK; Simon Mignolet £9m (loaning him back to Sunderland)
CAM; Christian Eriksen £14m + Assaidi
RW/upgrade to downing; Dusan Tadic £9m
CB; Stefan de Vrij £8m
CB; Fernando Amorebieta free
LB; Cheikh M'Bengue £5m
L/RW; Tom Ince £7m to replace Assaidi
SS; Antonio Cassano £5m
+ signing Keisuke Honda on pre contract to join in January
= £57m

outs
skrtel 16m
coates 7m
downing 8.5m
carroll 12m
Shelvey £7m
borini 7.5m
ngoo 2m

I have forwarded your wishlist to Santa.

CE isn't a winger, so I hope if we do buy him he isn't playing on the right wing.

Hi eds

With all these rumours of a huge summer clearout at city, is there any chance we could pick up some of the quality castaways in question? At a wage cut, of course.

Anonymous woolback {Ed001's Note - highly unlikely, the wage cuts would have to immense to put them in our price bracket!}

Unless we do what spurs did and get city to pay part of his wages

Surely if they are having a clearout though the players that decide to leave and play football will be forced to take pay-cuts where-ever they go - very few clubs can afford cities wages and even fewer will be willing to shell out for the players city reject (so people like Nasri, rather than Silva who might be poached). Unless they do a Bridge and just dig their heels in, they must take cuts when them move {Ed001's Note - yes, but they can go to places like QPR etc, and still earn big money.}

Mega-rich top players that might be willing to drop to the championship to make another obscene fistful of money rather than the lesser huge amounts they would earn from PL and CL teams. Sad day for football if we see someone like Nasri do that

Nasri? Tevez?

Isn't all about money

Would you Lads even want Nasri, we don't need his pissy/ moody attitude. I would take any of the following, Micah Richards, Lescott, Milner, Sinclair. Unfortunately I think the rest would be almost impossible considering wages etc. what yas reckon?

I'd agree with the last post i'd take them all except for sinclair I think he's overrated.

I'd also be happy to take a punt on guidetti.

Hart's been mentioned a few times here but if he wanted to leave he'd prob go to Arsenal or if he was brave enough to go abroad then he'd have options (maybe even barca/madrid).

I wouldn't take milner lescott or sinclair! would take garcia and zabletta

G'day Eds
I am aware there were a few rumours circulating young Marco Rojas from the A League not too long a go and I was wondering, is it really a possibility? I think he's brilliant (although I am biased being Australia). Also heard LFC might be coming to Oz for pre-season friendlies! :D
Cheers {Ed002's Note - I know nothing of it, sorry.}

Liverpool will be playing a game in Melbourne this summer

Rojas is a Kiwi.

I watch Rojas live quite regularly and as a Liverpool fan I'd be disappointed if that's the quality we're looking at. Not LFC standard.

LFC playing in Melbourne on the 24th July.
LFC Pedro
