My mate said he heard from a reliable source that FSG were prepared to sanction a fifteen mill move for Sturridge but Rodgers only wanted him on loan. Do the eds know anything about this?

John {Ed002's Note - It was around the other way - Liverpool asked, through his agent, for a loan, and Chelsea asked for a fee.}
Sturridge isn't worth that sort of money.
FSG will not throw that sort of money at players as they may look to sell due to spending their original outlay. I cannot see them spending that sort of money in January anyway. Its really a very easy decision, hang on to a club were they will not get any profit or sell.

Ed1 mate is Higuan really wanted by Madrid or does Mourinho want him its sad to see world class striker like him sitting on bench every game.if we have money then should go for him he is just 23-24 and one of the best finishers if not then no need to waste our money on average strikers we should just give chance to our young strikers thanks {Ed001's Note - he is available for the right price.}
I very much doubt we have the money for such a player,or he would join us anyway.

If we could sell carroll for 17-19 million we should go for damiao ..Higuain would be too expensive IMO..
He would probably go to Tottenham anyway due to the 'special relationship' they now have.
25 million would be a fair price.
Need to get real guys players like higuan didnt want to join in summer so they not gonna join now although i hear nathan tyson is available for loan

Question for the eds.Having seen the some youngsters been given there chance this season,how highly are jordan ibe,Joao Carlos Teixeira and Alex O'Hanlon rated by the club,and are we likely to see them in and around the first team this season?. {Ed001's Note - very highly rated, unlikely Ibe and O'Hanlon will be in the first team this season, they are not ready. Teixeira, on the other hand, has every chance, if he can stay fit.}
Heard really good things about these young lads.Just show's how much talent is there is at our club.
Don't forget Sheyi Ojo & Jerome Sinclair. I think in a couple of seasons they could also be the one's to step up.

What club is showing serious interest if you don't mind saying? {Ed002's Note - Lazio and there will likely be interest from Bayern Munich again next summer.}
Got no chance then cant compete with lazio or bayern come to tkink of it cant even compete with southampton

Eds it seems that we are interested in Dries Mertens. Do you think it would happen?We were interested previously with him under King Kenny.What would his wage and transfer fee be?
