I don't know if i am having my leg pulled but i have just had a phone call saying we are going in for Rene Krhin.

I even had to wiki him as i had never heard of him.

Just another rumour, not going to happen.

A champions league winner apparently. Not sure about how directly he influenced that though .

He was all set to be 'the next big thing' at one point. If I recall correctly, he was another highly rated youngster at Inter when Coutinho was there.

I think I read recently that he seems to have matured a lot and is making good on all that initial promise.

He was definitely a name making the rounds here a few years back.

According to reports we are close to signing Hector Herrera, any truth Ed's?

Believable2 Unbelievable9

{Ed002's Note - Another Brendan Rodgers targets - and one from the very early days. Certainly he available - albeit expensive. And certainly there has been interest from others - Napoli and Valencia. I cannot help regarding LIverpool.}

Being reported in lots of places and has made headlines on Fox.

Never seen them lead like this on a transfer story before.

Hmmmm, looks a bit like Angel Di Maria to me ;-)

06 Jun 2016 19:47:44
Not seen much of him but question is, is he better than what we already have in midfield?

Agree1 Disagree5

06 Jun 2016 20:24:28
He used to be a wide player when Rodgers was interested in him, but since his move to Porto, has been converted into a central midfielder. Industrious player, but I have not seen anything to suggest he is an improvement on Henderson or Can.

06 Jun 2016 20:50:53
Hes suppose to be close to joining Napoli with Valencia also interested if Gomes leaves, so we can put this one to bed.

Very doubtfull in my opinion then judging by eds reply.

I'm marking this one as 'not ed approved'. So I think it's BS.

no way he would be in our nivea adverts so it must be a lie.

His you tube best bits are not really that impressive tbh, with grugic and stewart and branagan in the wings behind chan and hendo i just can't see this one happening.

All I know is Klopp wants to keep Joe and have 4 CBs in Lovren matip sakho and Gomez skrtel and toure are expected to leave I keep seeing him being mentioned as a fullback and although he can play there he's seen as a central defender, he's not interested in any loan and wants to stay at Liverpool, the plan is for him to play against Barcelona, that could change.

Good news, Square! I also think he should be given a chance as a 4th CB, esp since he has the versatility to cover the flanks. How is his recovery progressing?

Best post on here for a while :) also would suggest something unexpected with the sakho verdict we won't be signing another cb think that could be a good thing and reevaluate then in January :) cheers ST!

Excellent news, the way he coped with being out of position at such a young age at a tough time showed he has the mental strength and team ethic. He is a good CB so hopefully he can develop over next 2-3 years into the main one.

If the Echo are to be believed, Looks like Andre Wisdom will be joining Celtic after Liverpool knocked back their interest in Joe Gomez.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

06 Jun 2016 10:47:08
Celtic fan coming in peace. Is this guy any good?

Agree3 Disagree3

06 Jun 2016 11:11:49
A lot of Liverpool fans are actually a little bit miffed that Wisdom never truly got his chance. Managerial changes and failed loan spells have derailed the lads progress.

I think he'd be a good player for your club north of the border, if given the chance to play regularly and settle into a healthy environment. He was always thought of as a CB until he started playing RB. I'd still like to see the lad given a chance at CB but maybe there are reasons for his conversion?!

He's a worker, he's not going to be the best player but he's no nonsense and grafts. I really hope the lad does well if he moves to Celtic. Just my opinion on the Wisdom.

Agree15 Disagree2

06 Jun 2016 11:21:48
He would be good at Celtic, not Liverpool material though, didn't make enough noise at Norwich to warrant a chance imo.

Agree4 Disagree7

06 Jun 2016 11:34:36
He is a good player. He'll definitely do a good job for Celtic.

Agree9 Disagree3

06 Jun 2016 12:05:10
His level is high championship, low Premier League so he would do well in Scotland.

Agree10 Disagree5

06 Jun 2016 11:47:24
Thanks guys. That makes me feel a bit better haha. The problem being he'll be fine in our league but it's whether or not he can make the step up in Europe. He's still young though so here's hoping.

Agree5 Disagree3

06 Jun 2016 14:00:25
He's a good player both north and south of the border but was constantly played out of position and his confidence took a massive hit. A hard working footballer with a fairly good football brain.

Agree2 Disagree2

06 Jun 2016 14:38:36
Cmcbhoy. Wisdom is the least of your worries about Europe mate. BR should be your main concern.

Agree12 Disagree1

06 Jun 2016 14:47:44
I am fairly shocked that Wisdom is off to work with BR again.

Agree6 Disagree1

06 Jun 2016 15:14:53
Wisdom should have been used by Buck whilst here. The brendanising of him has set him back 2-3 years.

Agree4 Disagree2

06 Jun 2016 22:20:50
Too good for Scotland. He will be wasting his career up there. He is better than that.

About right gazza.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2016 08:28:13
As has been said, lower PL level player, which is no bad thing and he won't be atrocious in Europe if given regular game time. As others say, very odd if BR wants him now why the ffff didn't he use him when he had the chance?

Eds! Any chance of will hughes becoming next dele ali like signing? And hows his development going? another "liverpool fan" na? Keep up the good work.

Believable4 Unbelievable8

{Ed001's Note - no longer of interest. His development has stalled in the last couple of years.}

06 Jun 2016 08:48:51
I swear some people live under a rock, let's sign a player who no ones heard of in the past 2 years because he once looked decent in the England u21's.

Agree3 Disagree13

06 Jun 2016 10:20:00
If you haven't heard of him for 2 years, then i would say that you are the one who lives under a rock - the premier league isn't the only league.

He's been out injured for 1 season, it wasn't necessarily his England u21 performances either, more that he was looking good for Derby.

Who knows how his injury will affect him in the long run, maybe he will become a possibility again next year if he can put a good run of games together.

For some perspective: Wilshere hasn't played half the minutes Hughes has in the last 2 years and he's in the England squad!

Agree14 Disagree4

06 Jun 2016 10:39:26
Eh not to mention ed has already said "we are no longer interested in him" numerous times in the last few weeks, I think some people visit the sight every few weeks don't bother reading anything, post a question and probably never comes back to read the answer.

Hi Ed's

Great job you guys are doing, most of our posts are although just questions and enquiries regarding transfer.
I wanted to ask, what are chances of Joe Allen staying? If he is ever sold back to Swansea, is there a possibility to get Ayew in exchange of Allen?
In my opinion Ayew will be a great addition on the flanks. Definitely upgrade for Ibe or Markovic.
Your thoughts on this.

Believable1 Unbelievable8

{Ed001's Note - it is far too early to tell with the Euros what will happen with him now. It has thrown a spanner in the works, but he is available for transfer if someone offers us enough money. Ayew is not a target, however much he would love to join us, he is just not seen as good enough (and I have to agree on that).}

06 Jun 2016 06:15:44
Ayew isn't up to the standard we need. I can tell you that the Swansea fans would be happy to see him go for any half decent offer!

Agree6 Disagree4

06 Jun 2016 07:53:23
They don't Beddoerocks, they want to keep him for another year at least. He's done well for them this season but not good enough for us unfortunately.

06 Jun 2016 08:35:57
He was good for the first 5 games then average at best.

06 Jun 2016 10:44:09
Eds any chance the Club will exchange Harry Wilson for messi?, this isn't football manager people, it's a rumour website no wonder the eds get fed up with the ridiculous questions being asked. Some people just pick a player from our squad and a player from another squad and ask will we exchange them, why would we ever exchange Allen for ayew? Ridiculous!

Ed1,

Rather than chuck another random name at you I was wondering if there were any new developments (on any deals) that you could share?

Cheers.

Believable1 Unbelievable6

{Ed001's Note - such as? I don't get what people expect to change each day? I know the newspapers make up some new angle each day, but that is purely about selling copy, not about the actual events.}
