Do you reckon Rodgers will go back in for yarmalenko in january eds?
Looks a top player an likes to run at the opposition. Just wondering if u may of heard anything cheers.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool were certainly interested in him in the past but at nothing like the price that would be necessary to buy him. Liverpool since turned their attention elsewhere with Salah. But that is looking unlikely. For now, no.}

Hi Ed002,
know it sounds silly but would Suarez be interested in a move to AS Monaco? I heard one of their strikes wants out. I hope for a good LFC run in the next 3-4 weeks. All the best, thanks.

Believable2 Unbelievable28

{Ed002's Note - I think Suarez has a number of clubs that he would like to move to, but I very much doubt Monaco is one.}

In his spare time ed002 carries a sandwich board around Stamford Bridge. "The End is Nigh".

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - Actually, it simply says "RTP".}

Why wouldn't he be interested? They'll be in the champions league next season, unlimited wages with minimal tax (I don't really get how that whole thing works) and an incredible place to live. Plus, he'd destroy Ligue 1.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It is rather more complicated than that. Firstly, there are at least a couple far more high profile clubs than Monaco that would be of interest. You also need to put aside the tax situation as it is not as simple as you think. Monaco also has a very small stadium which has over the years has not impressed players - and many find it constraining to have to live in such a small area. Although saying that and over the years I have spent around 20 years living in Monaco, some players do still maintain a home there. I would not think he will end up there.}

i have just read in an online news site that glen johnston is not willing to sign a new Liverpool contract and arsene wenger is interested!.now I know the french like to collect their onions but surely this "red onion" has as more chance of dressing a burger than joining arsenal, defo a rumour to far, or more like a red herring

Hello Eds, love the site. Was wondering if you could shed some light on the Morata rumours linking him to us. If we were to move in Jan; would you suspect a loan to buy for the summer. If not, do you think we will wait for him to push for a move out of Real in the summer if he continues to sit on the bench? Tbh I would love to see the kid in Red shirt, he is a great young talent who plays with consistency in every game he is in.

Also I know one of the eds said we weren't looking at a LB at this moment in time, but do you think we will look for someone in the summer given that Robinson isn't progressing as fast as we need him to and that Enrique isn't the best at his role sometimes. If so do you think we will look at Alberto Moreno Pérez of sevilla, he's been brought into the Spanish national team and is looking a hot prospect. If Moreno continues to play at the level he is for the rest of this season, he could compete with Enrique for the starting 11 for next season(if we sign for him).

Really appreciate all your work. Cheers!

{Ed002's Note - Real Madrid would not be surprised if Liverpool would ask for Alvaro Morata as part of any transaction for Suarez. CSKA are one of the clubs who would like to take him on loan. Arsenal also like the look of the player.

Whilst Liverpool has enquired after a couple of left backs, I am not so sure it is a priority for January. However, if the right player were available for the right price, then maybe.

There has been a lot of interest in Moreno - but none from Liverpool.}

Couple of left backs? Bertrand and who Ed002?

{Ed002's Note - Montoya but I don't see him as a left back.}

Thnaks Ed002.

I want some of your thoughts ed. Does suso feature in Rodgers' long term vision for the first team or is he going to sell him come the summer?

I think what we genuinely lack in midfield is that world class box to box midfielder that can both defend and time his runs forward. Certainly suso would fit the trequartista role.

And I have been disappointed how rodgers have been wasting money on fringe players like borini, aspas etc.
What do you make of joe allen? I have been disappointed by him and the price he was bought at.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

{Ed002's Note - I suspect that Suso will return in the summer wanting assurances or he will look to move on.}

Another loan next summer to a bigger club would be ideal either staying in Spain or Italy.

Wat r u on about another loan? We need to give him assurances and minutes, he is quality and could link well with courtinho and Suarez.

Need to get the midfield sorted next year.

Haven't seen how Allen played today but not doing it 4 me and hendo isn't up 2 standard, what do the eds think on these two?I loved Lauro's comments on hendo " best player without the ball, I am yet to be told what he offers"

Agree0 Disagree2

Suso or Moses? No brainer.
