just read an article on a French Site which claims that Toby Alderweireld would love to play for Liverpool, I recall you mentioning that we scouted him and were probably impressed however do you expect us to maybe go in for him come this summer? Especially with the departure of Carragher and most likely Skertel. If so do you think we'd be in with a chance or is it pretty certain he's spurs bound?

A bid from Anzi was rejected in January but his performances have continued to attract the attention of a number of clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal, Lyon, Inter and Juventus. It would be no surprise if Liverpool were impressed with his performances.}
He never actually said anything of the sort! they've changed the wording from spurs to Liverpool due to alleged Speculation from Liverpool! most expect him to join spurs!

Actually, he said he would love to play in the EPL and was asked specifically about Liverpool. What he then said was that they would be a fit for his ambition, but someone like Newcastle would not be (probably in reference to Anita). doesn't mean he'd love to come for us, just that (assuming he's telling the truth) he wouldn't turn us down to stay at Ajax if we were his last offer
He didn't say it samsam, he has more or less agreed to go to spurs! They haven't changed their mind about him and he hasn't changed his either
Would rather we went for Carlos Zambrano, he would be cheaper and plays the ball from the back very well.

As our partner on shirt the Standard Chartered will be expired on 2014 (Next season). Do you have any idea or any update news for it?
It would remain as Standard Chartered or we would have a new one.

Wasn't there a bit of trouble involving SC as recent as last year? Something about them funding some organisation or government in Africa or something? Yet they publicly slated Liverpool for the Suarez vs Evra thing. If anything, they should be grateful that such a prestigious and well known global brand like Liverpool FC would even think of using them. And if anything, they should pay us compensation for how intruding they've been regarding transfers and footballing matters.
I for one would want Standard Chartered out! They are too very intrusive & should just be shirt sponsors & nothing else.

Not LFC related but more general football. The Guardian are reporting that Mancini will have his position reviewed by City at the end of the season. Is this not pretty standard practice for every manager in every team and the media are just sensationalising it, or is there something happening and the first move in the bumper transfer window predicted will be a manager? {Ed001's Note - he is going mate.}

Any idea on who their next managers going to be ed? {Ed002's Note - This has been explained before and is something you should ask on the Manchester City page, but they have made approaches regarding four potential managers and a couple of these seem like viable options. But this is a matter for elsewhere.}

I'd expect Williams, Zambrano in the summer so far. Hatem Ben Arfa would only join if the deal included Carroll but West Ham want to keep him and Rodgers has concerns over Ben Arfa's fitness as the boy is effectively made of glass. Eriksen is being watched excessively with the club looking to open negotiations with Ajax very soon. Xabi could return as Liverpool is his priority if he were to leave Madrid. However this was before reports from Spain suggest they'll offer him a new contract, so it kind of depends on whether or not that's true.

Hey Eds. Will Diame be interested in joining Liverpool this summer? How much do you think he may cost? And are other clubs interested in him?
