Good evening Ed001

Have you got any snippets or hints of good positive transfer news mate please after another frustrating week. Must be summin mate with you expertees??

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed001's Note - nothing at the moment mate, well nothing to add to Ed002's list other than I noticed he forget Garbutt at left back, who we are still interested in and he has still not signed a contract.}

08 May 2015 19:00:50
Ok mate cheers for that, I'd forgot about him tbh. Are we in need of another left back though really? No further on with Ings that you either?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - we only really have Moreno, as Smith is never going to get a chance and Enrique is a waste of space and more interested in social media than football. Ings can't be done without Burnley's permission and they are not willing to lose focus while they still have a chance of avoiding relegation.}

Eds, any particular name I can put in the search engine to find the post with the players Ed002 has listed?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Darmain.}

Hi eds.

With Sturridge injured for a change do you think that we may keep balotelli For a bit longer? Or do you definatly expect him to be sold.

Cheers

Believable5 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - The club would like him sold but will need to be much more realistic about the asking price.}

08 May 2015 14:14:36
I hope they don't end up doing what they did with Aquilaini

Funny they want to offer derisory bids and receive unrealistic ones . Makes u larf

08 May 2015 14:31:19
Roughly how much are we asking?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I have no interest in discussing money.}

08 May 2015 14:37:20
We'll probably do what we always seem to do these days- loan him out while supplementing his wages. It appears to be our strategy for when we don't know what else to do with a player (Aspas, Borini, Alberto, Ilori, Suso, etc).

Morning all

Eds have we bid for Kovacic mate? Rrpeated question but I've seen reports this morning and wondered if true at this stage?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - Even though he has very recently extended his contract, Inter are willing to sell Kovacic and have spoken with Arsenal, Liverpool and Hertha Berlin about the player. Nikky Vuskan has said there has not been any approach to him from any club at this time and that whilst Inter may be willing to sell the player, Kovacic wants to stay at the club. Nikky Vuksan has however said he is aware that Inter and Barcelona are having discussions about some "issues" that would involve Kovacic. To explain, Barcelona are plotting a deal that will see Alex Song and/or Pedro Rodrigues move to Inter on loan until January and then will be part of a permanent deal for Kovacic.

I am not going to go in to too much detail but Piero Ausilio, Inter's Sporting Director, told a Spanish journalist that Liverpool had made a "funny little joke" with a €10M offer.}

08 May 2015 13:37:42
Oh god, no we didn't. Is that confirmed? That is a derisory bid if true, did the upper level not learn anything from Salah?

So low Inter wouldn't even want to negotiate.

I can see the reasoning in bidding low for Kovacic. We got Coutinho for a minimal fee in todays terms. I don't feel Inter will fall for that again though.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Coutinho was a fringe player they did not consider ready for the first team - and to be fair he was only a squad player at Liverpool at the start. Kovacic is completely different.}

08 May 2015 14:00:15
When will they learn ed?? What's with the shoddy bids? Is it to just say we tried ?? Bloody shocking they are . What's the point in bidding

Agree0 Disagree0

08 May 2015 14:22:52
Cheers for reply Ed. So we did make a cheeky offer then. Not sure why we offered that when he us valued much higher. And doubtfull if Barca are planning him in that deal?

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It is not a "cheeky offer". It is simply a waste of time and effort.}

08 May 2015 14:45:13
Total waste of time. Infact its embarrasing. I didn't beleive it at first either. Are we still monitoring/looking at improving the bid do you no mate?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath about a move to Liverpool.}

08 May 2015 15:20:07
It's an utter embarrassment to read this sort of thing and further dents the clubs already slim chances of landing any player when there is numerous clubs interested. I hope this has been identfied in this ongoing internal assessment of the club and will be rectified swiftly.

The PSV director has commented about not having any contact with Liverpool over Wijnaldum, I haven't seen him mentioned. He seems to have had a brilliant season in terms of stats. Do we hold any interest that you know of Eds

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - No.}

08 May 2015 14:40:42
When Rafa was in charge, there was interest in Wijnaldum, who was then at Feynoord.

Sampdoria will not pay asking price and are looking for loan to buy with balotelli.
