Have you got any snippets or hints of good positive transfer news mate please after another frustrating week. Must be summin mate with you expertees??

Ok mate cheers for that, I'd forgot about him tbh. Are we in need of another left back though really? No further on with Ings that you either?

{Ed001's Note - we only really have Moreno, as Smith is never going to get a chance and Enrique is a waste of space and more interested in social media than football. Ings can't be done without Burnley's permission and they are not willing to lose focus while they still have a chance of avoiding relegation.}

Morning all

Eds have we bid for Kovacic mate? Rrpeated question but I've seen reports this morning and wondered if true at this stage?

{Ed002's Note - Even though he has very recently extended his contract, Inter are willing to sell Kovacic and have spoken with Arsenal, Liverpool and Hertha Berlin about the player. Nikky Vuskan has said there has not been any approach to him from any club at this time and that whilst Inter may be willing to sell the player, Kovacic wants to stay at the club. Nikky Vuksan has however said he is aware that Inter and Barcelona are having discussions about some "issues" that would involve Kovacic. To explain, Barcelona are plotting a deal that will see Alex Song and/or Pedro Rodrigues move to Inter on loan until January and then will be part of a permanent deal for Kovacic.

I am not going to go in to too much detail but Piero Ausilio, Inter's Sporting Director, told a Spanish journalist that Liverpool had made a "funny little joke" with a €10M offer.}

Oh god, no we didn't. Is that confirmed? That is a derisory bid if true, did the upper level not learn anything from Salah?

So low Inter wouldn't even want to negotiate.

I can see the reasoning in bidding low for Kovacic. We got Coutinho for a minimal fee in todays terms. I don't feel Inter will fall for that again though.

{Ed002's Note - Coutinho was a fringe player they did not consider ready for the first team - and to be fair he was only a squad player at Liverpool at the start. Kovacic is completely different.}

When will they learn ed?? What's with the shoddy bids? Is it to just say we tried ?? Bloody shocking they are . What's the point in bidding

Cheers for reply Ed. So we did make a cheeky offer then. Not sure why we offered that when he us valued much higher. And doubtfull if Barca are planning him in that deal?

Total waste of time. Infact its embarrasing. I didn't beleive it at first either. Are we still monitoring/looking at improving the bid do you no mate?

It's an utter embarrassment to read this sort of thing and further dents the clubs already slim chances of landing any player when there is numerous clubs interested. I hope this has been identfied in this ongoing internal assessment of the club and will be rectified swiftly.
