Hi Ed2

Not a knee jerk reaction but can we expect Nunez and Diaz to potentially leave this summer. Whilst they are good players I don't think they have enough to really replace Mane/ Firmino. I just wondered if this was actually being considered by the club as we clearly have issues finishing our chances.

Agree5 Disagree7

{Ed002's Note - Diaz perhaps. Luis Diaz (LW) Could be surplus. His agent already has one player in the Saudi league and has been offering another high profile player he has - so he may well be looking at Diaz as well given Liverpool are well stocked in the position. Al-Hillal may offer a solution. Liverpool will likely resist a deal but could look to a deal with Barcelona if they are serious about Raphinha. Using him in part exchange for another may be possible. Thoughts that PSG want him as an Mbappe replacement seem wide of the mark to me given they have very clear targets already, but his agent has approached PSG - but no more than that. Father says he wants to move to Spain.}

14 Apr 2024 21:52:14
Not Nunez then Ed?

No interest in him?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of plans to sell him.}

Thanks ed2 what a Sunday!

I’d want to keep both, think it’s Salah who would make more sense to get rid of due to his age and the potential for a mammoth transfer fee from Saudi.

Diaz Nunez and Gakpo just haven’t worked out. Lots of top attackers out there need a big refresh in the summer it’s a new era.

Agree3 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 11:18:45
It is safe to say we aren't simply going to sell all of our forwards and replace them. The new manager will have his own ideas and the folks in the new structure have their hands full with contract renewals, building the rest of the departments and making some decisions on fringe players.

Virgil and Trent renewals.
Salah decision and potential replacement.
Matip needs to be replaced.
A defensive midfielder is still needed.
Kelleher, Tsimikas will probably need to be replaced.
Career plans for all the breakout youngsters so they can continue their progression.

Replacing Diaz, Nunez and Gakpo as well would be too much work for a new structure to handle and a new manager to plan around.

Agree8 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 12:32:23
Gakpo would work out if he played on the left, Salah and Diaz are the ones i would be selling, because of their value, Nunez needs to go on the left and be a pest, we need a Jonathon David/ Oshimen type who will put the ball in the net

Agree5 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 13:29:50
FSGfleecingus - your argument started off ok until you suggested David/ Osimehn are the ones going to be putting the ball in the net.

Agree7 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 16:39:38
It was more an out and out central player, Davids finishing isn't too be sniffed at, i think his conversion rate would be better than Nunez, Oshimen is similar but again better than Nunez's.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 23:28:05
That’s why I said (2 much baggage) Toney or Watkins as an alternative would be clinical for us as strikers rather than risk another massive fee on another nunez. If Amorim comes in expect nunez to stay though as Will jota. Salah and diaz to leave along with other squad played and big earners.

Question for the Eds. It's not Liverpool specific, so I understand if this is the wrong place for it.

I was just wondering if you believe there are any Championship players ready to make the jump up in the off-season? I believe Ed2 did a list at one point (I apologizeifim mistaken about that), but I'm curious to know if you believe there are any players to keep an eye on outside of the clubs that will likely be promoted.

Thanks!

{Ed002's Note - Well Liverpoll are looking at Patterson and Chris Rigg from Sunderland. Jobe Bellingham is also ttracting atention from clubs.}

Jobe would be a biblical signing.

Only watched bits of championship (mainly Leeds) and like the look of Ritter - young player who looks to have a lot of ability. Quick feet and manages to get buckets of assist playing with Bamford up top!

Obviously tactics will change but could be useful for opening up teams.

Would love Chris Rigg, only 16 and already playing for Sunderland!

Would imagine it’d make more sense for him to stay and get exposure though.

13 Apr 2024 14:09:55
Don't count your chickens. There's a very good chance amorim could stay at sporting.

He has more to lose than gain by coming to Liverpool, right now it's a tough sell to people on the up. That's not me saying that, it's a few agents I met at an event I was at recently. One agent suggested it would be better for Liverpool to look for someone trying to rebuild their reputation instead as it's an opportunity for them rather than a risk.

Agree4 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 14:55:49
Really.

Agree9 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 15:26:11
I can see the point of view of the agents.
The next man in has a big job on his hands.
There is a bit of a rebuilding process to do and not a lot of money to do it with.
The knives will be out early on you can be sure of that.
Plus they have to work in a system with Edwards and Hughes so some loss of autonomy.

It’s a tough job, needs someone with some backbone.

Who knows, maybe it will be Potter?

Agree7 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 15:53:43
He looks nailed on to me.
Although I said the same about Alonso. Lol
But only he knows what’s going on his own head.
Liverpool will always be a tempting prospect for any manager who wants to prove himself though. Especially when the squad is quite young and in good shape, not much of a rebuilding job like usual, more tweaks.

Agree9 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 15:56:52
Wouldn't trust a football agent in the wild as far as I can throw him/ her.

Liverpool is an attractive job for any ambitious manager/ coach. We have record breaking revenues, good youngsters, excellent training facilities and are proactively strengthening the football structure again under someone who has a track record of success with us. Klopp is not leaving a mess behind him. And most importantly, Liverpool fans are always patient, supportive and hopeful as long as you take some time to understand the culture and avoid the Hodgson and Rogers-style "charm".

If an incoming coach is frightened of Klopp's legacy even after us not having won one of the big prizes (CL or PL) in 5 years, then they are not the right guy for Liverpool.

Agree22 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 16:03:46
If any, would be, manager is scared, we are better off without them. A young (ish) team, with a few tactical tweaks and sales/ purchases and they'll have an almost perfect team. I don't buy this "tough act to follow" or "tough sell" malarkey. Any decent young manager, with anything about themselves, would jump at the chance.

Agree11 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 16:41:11
A manager looking to rebuild their reputation should be avoided at all costs. Look at the current crop out there who meet that criteria of being sacked and having a poor reputation in need of rebuilding (or in Tuchel’s case on the verge of getting sacked and having an appalling reputation, again), Mourinho, Tuchel, Nagelsmann, Flick, Potter, Conte, Low, Lopetegui and that’s without mentioning the dregs like Gerrard, Lampard, Solsjkear et al.

Not exactly an inspiring list and not one of them is remotely good enough or competent enough for the job for multiple reasons. If we end up with one of that lot then we’d be just as well to write the next 18 months off or more. There are certain managers who don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt or patience.

Agree8 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 21:07:08
I don’t feel it’s a case of being scared, more of a case of timing.
Next man in is going to be compared to Klopp, who won everything except the Europa League (you still never know) .

For some managers on the rise, it’s not the right time. For the likes of Potter it’s a great chance, for Alonso and Amorim there is a lot of risk compared to waiting in the wings.

Agree2 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 21:11:13
Only Amorim knows what’s going on in his head. For me, and going by ITK’s, both him and Alonso are the standout candidates. Well, were because Alonso removed himself from the running - that Amorim is set to become our new manager. As for the attractiveness of our club. That would be totally subjective. What you’re saying might be true in some cases. But then on the other hand, a number of managers would relish the fact a summer clear out is looking likely. Simply because we have a number of talented players they could work around. And funds raised from sells along with a set transfer budget would ensure they get the players they want in order to execute their vision. Now, I could be totally wrong here but I see a bigger clear out then some might be expecting.

Salah turns 32 in a few months. Is still a good player but is naturally on the decline. Plus, this is the last time we could get a good transfer fee for him. In my opinion he is off to Saudi Arabia, and if we can fetch between £100 million - £150 million we have to take sentiments out of it and sell. At the end of the day all good things must come to an end. As for Diaz, his father is doing a press tour about Diaz playing for a Spanish club or a top European club for that matter, which I find strange. I’m at the stage where if a player wants to go just go, no matter who they are. If we can fetch £70 million or thereabouts then sell. So Diaz is another one I see gone this summer. One that might be going under the radar is VVD, who might want to leave this summer. It would be his last chance of a big pay day and I’m sure his agent could drum up interest from one of the top European sides to facilitate that. Plus he turns 33 in July so Edwards and Hughes will most likely sell instead of extending his contract and paying him £200k plus a week, which makes sense.

I see Kostas sold, and his ability and performances means I don’t need to elaborate on the reasons why. Kelleher might ask to leave for the sake of his career. And yes he’s played a lot of games this season but that was down to Allison having a lot of injuries which has never happened since his move from Roma. Not much needs to be said about Thiago, Adrian or Matip as their contracts expire this summer. Tyler Morton and Carvalho could be given a chance but equally they might come back after tasting first team football and ask to leave if interest from other clubs is there. Or it might not be their decisions if Edwards and Hughes feel they could get good money for both. Another thing is we keep getting linked to DM’s, which could be media rubbish. But if it is Amorim coming in and if the media noise is true then he might bring one with him. Personally I would be happy with Endo and Bajcetic but if a DM is brought in we might cash in on Endo, which will not go down well with a large number of the fanbase, although I trust them those in charge in whatever they decide to do. Edwards and Hughes might be thinking we could make some profit on him when you factor in age (31) and low fee paid to bring him in. Then lastly there is Konate. He has all the attributes to be a good defender but whenever you think he is kicking on his lapse in concentration rears it’s ugly head. Not to mention the fact you can’t rely on him as a first choice CB due to his consistent injuries. If PSG who he has spoken about decide to come in for him this summer I see him gone.

All speculation of course. But whatever happens in the summer, I’m actually very positive. Safe to say exciting times ahead with Edwards, Hughes and hopefully Amorim.

13 Apr 2024 21:22:08
FPF, record breaking revenues? Don’t Utd& City both have higher revenues in the PL alone? Pretty sure Barcelona and Real have higher too so not sure what records are being broken.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 21:33:47
In just the same vein Amorim, or any other manager on the up as you say might have a rubbish season next year, stick falls and he is never mentioned for the top jobs ever again.

Contrary to what many are saying, the fact that following Klopp will inevitably be difficult kind of gives successors and bit of a free pass. Amorim and Alonso could come here and fail and it would be out down to Klopp hangover rather than any issue on their part.

Whereas if they stay at lower clubs now they might completely screw it up next year and never get mentioned for the top clubs again. No, when the top clubs come calling you go for it. I reckon the only reason Alonso isn't is that he is waiting for Madrid but he might not get it if he gets Leverkusen relegated next year. 🤣.

13 Apr 2024 23:24:09
Fuser, you can break your own revenue records too.

As for City’s revenue - less said the better.

Agree7 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 23:28:32
Ron - sounds like another way of describing being scared :)

By the same token, these managers that are hoping to rebuild their reputations would have pretty poor judgement to take a job whereby the fanbase is split on their ability and reputation.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Apr 2024 18:22:29
Load of nonsense, any manager who is worth their salt will want this job. If Amorim would rather stay at sporting then he’s not a manager worth his salt, so isn’t worth the LFC job.

14 Apr 2024 03:48:36
Good post, alonso1786, and ill add that the exit of some/ all of those players might provide a tempting war chest for the next manager. Salah and Diaz could possibly add as much as 200m between them which, if reinvested, would be a carrot on a stick for most managers.

14 Apr 2024 08:55:10
@Andyjh83 - so Alonso “is not worth his salt”?

Unusual take but you do you.

Agree3 Disagree0

14 Apr 2024 09:45:58
Konate is world class, in my opinion, people forget how young he is, and that he's already played a great world cup campaign. Injuries are an issue, and yes he loves his home town club, but why on earth would anyone want to sell such a great player?

VVD-Real would likely wait until he's out of contract and it will be interesting in general, to see how Edwards manages the potential clear out that are you talking about Alonso.

Endo has been a revelation, why on earth would anyone want to sell him? He has given his heart and soul in most games. He is a legend in the making.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2024 19:25:32
I have a feeling we won’t get him, as people have said he has more to lose coming to us than staying in Portugal. Knowing FSG they’ll go for Gary O’Neil or Graham Potter.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Apr 2024 23:38:54
More to lose coming to us than staying in Portugal? ah here, either these people want to be footballing legends or they dont. Who turns down liverpool to stay in Portugal?

Agree3 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 07:25:53
I just keep thinking back to our former player - Alonso - turning us down to stay at Leverkussen.

Once that happened then anything is possible and nothing is certain.

There’s a reason Xabi turned us down. For CL with Leverkussen is what some people say. So he prefers that to CL with Liverpoool?
Building a team in Leverkussen - he’s only been there 1 full season.

There’s another reason we’re not being told.

15 Apr 2024 10:03:18
How about he just doesn’t want to manage Liverpool next season @Ron?

Agree2 Disagree0

15 Apr 2024 13:19:41
Alonso just won Leverkusen's 1st ever league title at the first time of asking and has not lost a game all season - AND it's his first full season managing a senior team. There is absolutely no way you can compare that to someone like Amorim, who is in his 2nd senior management role, has previously won the league with his team, and could bow out with a league and cup double.

Alonso made the right decision for him at the time, and I completely understand why. He also came out and said "I'm staying", whereas Amorim has said "I don't want to discuss it right now".

Inacio, Koopmeiners, Kudus

Good summer that would be.
8 players to leave, Thiago, Matip, Tsimikas, Phillips, Salah, Kelleher, Adrian, Carvalho.
Maybe a couple of academy players too.
New reserve keeper needed too.

Ed002 have we looked at any keepers recently do you know, and where is Kelleher likely to go?

Agree1 Disagree7

{Ed002's Note - Filip Jorgensen (G) Villareal are stll struggling financially and will sell at the right price. Manchester City and Liverpool are searching for a number 2 goalkeeper and have both sent scouts. Seems an odd choice.
Anthony Patterson (G) Arsenal and Liverpool have sent scouts to watch the Sunderland player.
Closer to home Vitezslav Jaros (G) Having a good loan at Sturm Graz and perhaps an option to take over as number two but he may want more game time.
Kelleher will have options including Celtic and Wolves.}

13 Apr 2024 13:53:33
I think we need to invest in some new flags for Anfield.

Players might play the games but flags are what wins them.

13 Apr 2024 13:56:29
Can’t see West Ham being willing to sell Kudus given the likelihood that Pacquetta will probably be going to Man City and they’re not easy to negotiate with at all. As for Koopmeiners, don’t see the fuss, looks immobile and one paced, not suited to the premier league.

Hi Eds,

Who do you see being sold in the summer?

Salah to Saudi for hig money
Diaz because he's tweaking for Barca

Do you see Nunez being soldnas he's diabolical in front on goal?

Agree2 Disagree13

{Ed002's Note - Perhaps something like this:
Marcelo Pitaluga (G) Needs to consider his future or bide his time at Liverpool. Struggling in the League of Ireland.
Caoimhín Kelleher (G) Decision time for the player and Wolves may try to tempt him after some scouting. Celtic have spoken with his representative.
Vitezslav Jaros (G) Having a good loan at Sturm Graz and perhaps an option to take over as number two but he may want more game time.
Adrian (G) Out of contract in the summer and will depart.
Anderson Arroyo (RB) Time to move on. Zero chance at Liverpool after seven loans in five years.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB/RWB/RM) Seen by Real Madrid as an option to Reece James. May offer an exchange for Rodrygo Goes or could try and persuade the player's agent to have their client run down his contract.
Kostas Tsimikas (LB) Agent previously said he was being forced out of the club to raise €20M or more. Since then it has been quiet and I am not aware of any approaches.
Nat Phillips (CB) Time to move on come the summer.
Sepp van den Berg (CB) He won't get a chance at Liverpool and will likely be sold in the summer to taise funds - could be a mistake by the club. There is no option to buy for Mainz.
Billy Koumetio (CB) Seemingly not worked out. Basel may offer a route away from Liverpool.
Joel Matip (CB) Time has come in my view and Besiktas would like to take him but his agent suggests he will be offered a contract extension. Saudi PL may offer a solution.
Joe Gomez (CB) Agent is talking to Michael Emanalo but I doubt Liverpool will want anymore HG players to leave.
Virgil van Dijk (CB) I am told that van Dijk's agents have said that had approaches from both Real Madrid and Barcelona. Real Madrid see VvD as a low cost solution in terms of transfer fee but need to make space in the wage structure. Barcelona offer an option but will need to agree sales first. At this point in time it will be very general enquiries only and I doubt either club will move for him.
Rhys Williams (CB) Will need to find a new home which will likely mean dropping down a tier.
Bobby Clark (CM) Loan possible.
Curtis Jones (CM) Getting more game time. Liverpool will not sell.
Thiago Alcantara (CM) His representatives have spoken to Barcelona about the player finishing his career back at the club but he would need to have reduced wages. Seems unlikely. Galatasaray or Flamengo may offer an option - else it will need to be the ME. Out of contract.
Fabio Carvalho (AM/LW) Available.
Kaide Gordan (W) At the behest of his agent Birmingham City have again asked for a loan, perhaps with an option to buy. Seems to have no future at Liverpool and such a move would be good for the player.
Mateusz Musialowski (RW) Out of contract in the summer. Another Liverpool player that Birmingham has an interest in. Basel and Leeds offer options.
Diogo Jota (LW) With the addition of Gakpo and Diaz performing well, Jota may just be sacrificed to bring in much needed funds. I am not aware of any interest just yet but JM will be looking for suiters. I am not aware of any approach from Newcastle and whilst his father speaks of Barcelona, such a move seems very unlikely give there other plans.
Luis Diaz (LW) Could be surplus. His agent already has one player in the Saudi league and has been offering another high profile player he has - so he may well be looking at Diaz as well given Liverpool are well stocked in the position. Al-Hillal may offer a solution. Liverpool will likely resist a deal but could look to a deal with Barcelona if they are serious about Raphinha. Using him in part exchange for another may be possible. Thoughts that PSG want him as an Mbappe replacement seem wide of the mark to me given they have very clear targets already, but his agent has approached PSG - but no more than that. Father says he wants to move to Spain.
Mo Salah (RW) His agent is hawking him around for one last big payday - Saudi Pro League with the support of Michael Emenalo would certainly seem the most likely destination with Al-Ittihad. Liverpool will look to try and do something to have him extend but his agent will look for a significant increase in salary.

Seen a rumour linking us with Inacio, Edwards and Grimaldo, any likeliness of these coming off.

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed002's Note - Goncalo Inacio (CB) Watched by scouts from a number of PL sides, including Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United, with each declaring an interest. Sporting will not be keen to do business with Liverpool although the club could potentially arrange to pay his full Release Clause in a single payment and force the situation if the player is interested - and that seems a strong possibility. The other sides to declare an interest are Newcastle and PSG, but PSG have a plan over another player but it is looking unlikely he will join - so Inacio might become the focus. Real Madrid offer a wildcard option. Sporting would rather not sell and are looking to a further new contract and an increased release clause. Newcastle have held talks with Sporting in order to be able to speak directly to the player and to understand if there is flexibility in the payment schedule – but there isn't. Arsenal interest would have departed with the signing of Timber although it has returned with the injury to Timber and impending departures. They are actively seeking talks with Sporting. The player has also been offered to Chelsea by his agent when discussing another player, but they have preferred options for a long-term Silva replacement although do have an interest in Inacio's CB partner Diomande. Arsenal have made a tentative offer that has been rejected. The player's agent has also said that Inacio is open to a move to Manchester United and they may push depending on departures.
Alejandro Grimaldo (LWB) No intention of leaving Bayer Leverkusen having rejected Manchester City and Leeds. Bayern Munich have the player on a short list of options to replace Alphonso Davies.
Marcus Edwards (RW/AM) Spurs would like to re-sign the player they let leave for Guimaraes and there is interest from West Ham, but that will go nowhere. Crystal Palace have a declared interest. Discussed with Chelsea on an informal basis and on the list of RW/AM players Chelsea need - but they have a preferred options. Could prove a suitable Salah replacement for Liverpool but Sporting may still have no interest in dealing with Liverpool and they have preferred options, but with a change of coach that may change. Manchester United see him as a potential addition and have declared an interest - but much will depend on what happens in the summer with the coach. Sporting has no interest in selling and would demand his full release clause in a single payment.}

14 Apr 2024 11:37:21
Ed, you think Musialowski won't be offered to stay, or is he wanting to leave? I thought he was very highly thought of.

I'd personally prefer Jota over Gakpo, I just think he's a much better finisher. Although he gets injured quite a bit. Gakpo seems quite good with injuries.

Hi Ed2

Are Liverpool still considering potential managerial candidates or has a decision made to pursue one in particular (Amorim) .

It's clear that we still need a CDM, CB and perhaps another forward. Will the new manager have any input in what type of player he wants recruited or is this taken out of the managers hands due to the new structure.

Agree3 Disagree17

{Ed002's Note - Amorim is now first choice and I expect the club to push. He will have an imput to the choice of players but for now they remain the Hunter, Fallows and Klopp targets.}

Ed2. Can I ask why an outgoing manager is having a say on potential targets for a new manager?

Also, correct me if I’m wrong here but I’m also surprised that Richard Hughes and or Micheal Edwards would allow that to take place. Now, I don’t claim to know the ins and outs of the transfer process, but from my perspective that is odd.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed002's Note - I am sure the club value the input of Klopp in addition to Hunter and Fallows.}

@Alonso, it’s possible the club value Jurgen’s knowledge of football rather than any particular position or job tile that he may hold.

A couple of reports appearing in the media that Luis Diaz has asked for a "renegotiation" of his contract. If true, then we're about to see how Hughes handles and reacts to such situations.

I, myself, don't see why it is warranted. Where is (or are) the achievements that justify re-doing a contract before it has even reached half-way? Am aware many contracts were re-done in the past, but there were achievements (as a team) that justified these types of "rewards", back then.

If someone comes in for him (PSG supposedly), I would insist on 75 million and then spend it towards bringing in Kvaratskhelia (while adding in whatever is necessary) .

Agree20 Disagree0

11 Apr 2024 20:28:56
I personally feel it time for Diaz to move on. Not quite done enough and don't see him getting any better.
If a decent offer comes in I'd be happy to see him go. Works well for both the player and club.

Agree20 Disagree0

11 Apr 2024 21:28:44
Given De Laurentis and Napoli are renowned for asking for top dollar and the fact Osimhen will likely be leaving for 100-130m. They’ll have even less need to sell Kvicha so can see needing to pay at least 50m on top of whatever Diaz may fetch.

Agree3 Disagree0

12 Apr 2024 02:57:27
We've really seen the drop off in recent weeks of converting good chances. Diaz, for all his endeavour is the least productive of all our forwards. Given that Salah is not getting any younger and if you take away his Penalty goals, he has 17 open play goals whereas Nunez has 18. We are losing goals from Salah and cannot rely on Diaz to help out.

Given that Diaz is older than Nunez and Gakpo and has been here longer, I would allow Diaz to leave. Provided we can spend on a couple of quality replacements. I would also cash in on Salah.

Lastly, I can't believe it but I actually found myself giving NegativeWalter a thumbs up!

I don't want to see the back of him but I think a transfer is on the cards in the summer. Which, if true good luck to the lad, we move on.

Ed2, do you know of any interest in Diaz?

{Ed002's Note - Luis Diaz (LW) Could be surplus. His agent already has one player in the Saudi league and has been offering another high profile player he has - so he may well be looking at Diaz as well given Liverpool are well stocked in the position. Al-Hillal may offer a solution. Liverpool will likely resist a deal but could look to a deal with Barcelona if they are serious about Raphinha. Using him in part exchange for another may be possible. Thoughts that PSG want him as an Mbappe replacement seem wide of the mark to me given they have very clear targets already, but his agent has approached PSG - but no more than that. Father says he wants to move to Spain.}

Sick of international breaks and family coming saying this and that, if he wants to go elsewhere go, the fee should be top dollar for him approaching his prime, very replaceable.

If he is sold I would be disappointed, but it's not a disaster. He's a very good player no doubt but we have plenty of cover on the left side and there's no guarantee that that sort of player will be what the next manager wants. He is definitely one of those players I think Amorim would consider expendable based on the system he plays.

Rafinha is nowhere near good enough to replace salah.

Talk about throw the baby out with the bath!
Ok we got well beat last night i think it was down to pre match talk of fan club with the no flags or banners the atmosphere was very poor and it transfered on to the pitch and the players .
So let's get rid of Diaz he was the best thing since sliced bread the other week wow come on reds.

The player to cash in on is MO. He is coming to the end of time at LFC . Gomez is just not good enough his passing is so poor and last night he struggled to get back to defend sorry but not of the quality expected of LFC Timikas not good enough either and klopp made a mistake in the side he picked sorry but is a fact . Keller looked like he had concushion after he saved with his head . Maybe that is the kick up the arse that the manager his coaches and the players needed because we have been very sloppy the first fifteen mins of every game so far this season and it has not been delt with why is that? is it because it is near the time when all the coaches and manager go i don't know do you?

I like Diaz, he wouldn’t be on my list to sell but if he wants to go, he goes.

The new manger will form his own view but personally I don’t think he will/ can accept Diaz or Nunez lack of clinical finishing. Diaz is a tricky winger with not enough end product, loses the ball too much and does not provide enoug assists. Nunez numbers are good and I like him but as has been evident in recent games his misses have meant we don't capitalise on our game control and then let teams back in to punish us. If I was the new manager I’d be saying we need better up top.

I'd move on all of our front 3 and start over if I'm being brutally honest 😅.

I'd sell Salah and Diaz, but keep Nunez and play him on the left. Utilise his physical attributes as a winger.

Klopt agree reference Diaz as he is more a traditional wide player that Amorim doesn't tend to play in his system. Nunez though I think is tailor made for Amorims system. He plays a traditional number 9 up top and Nunez is the only one we have. Alongside getting width back in the team with wingbacks, The two supporting attacking players in Amorims system is where I am most excited because we have so many players that could thrive in those positions - Gakpo, Jota, Elliot, Jones, Szob, maybe even Carvalho coming back into the fold.

Albey how comes you didn’t take your own flag into the game or improve the atmosphere with some chants?

@OP, do you think it is possible that employees elsewhere have also asked for a pay rise from time to time? I’m pretty sure Luchio wouldn’t be the first to ask.
