I'm not one for twitter rumours, but Miguel Castro is one of the very few reliable sources. An enquiry has been made for Cavani but a deal is unlikely to happen. Find it hard to see Napoli selling this window, let alone the player wanting to move whilst Napoli are still in the Champions League. An enquiry from an unnamed english club have also enquired about Carroll. Time is running out for the player but it is just an enquiry - no bid as yet

Miguel Castro has just left Twitter so I guess we'll never know how well/ill informed his ITK rumours were.
Whether he left Twitter because he couldn't keep up the deceit or because he received unimaginable levels of abuse is also unknown.
Still hoping LFC splash the cash next week on a striker and a winger, not confident, but we've done a few late, unexpected deals so there's always hope!

Port Vale have made an enquiry for Cavani? This makes sense. He would be a possible solution to their lack of goals and an aid to their push for division one. But I'm not holding my breath. Crewe and Macclesfield town might also be interested in a proven striker of his calibre.
