Ed002 do you have any idea what Liverpool's plans are with Naby are the hoping to sell give a new contract or let him leave next summer.
See a lot of reports a few weeks back about a new contract but nothing has had so far I know you have said in the past a work permit would be hard for some countries would it be possible for any of the big leagues? .

I know plenty of folks want him gone, and Klopp wants him to stay but I wonder what Keita's thinking is currently regarding a new contract.

I think we have to all get behind this lad a bit, obviously klopp sees something in him and with him now coming in to his prime he might just start coming good and we may see a few more goals from him too, I'm not completely convinced myself but he deserves another season before we rush to get rid hopefully he proves us all wrong.

From what the Ed's say about him, it seems likely that he will look for more money elsewhere.

We have to move away from this mindset of being tolerant with mediocrity. After a long wait we have both the tools and finances to be world beaters. It's not going to last forever. But I'm just a fan expressing an opinion. Thankfully I don't have to make that decision.

He can look for a bigger contract elsewhere but his criminal record will severely limit what clubs/ countries can sign him. Then not to mention his performances would whittle down any other remaining options so I somehow doubt Keita is wanting a better offer than what Liverpool can offer.

Keita came with big expectations and we paid a lot of money for him back then. I don't think he's a bad player, just that for the money invested, he just didn't do enough to justify his price tag and if he was honest with himself, he'd admit that he fell flat. Its not like he never had a good game, I'm sure he had some decent games but for me, I felt that Fabinho and Wijnaldum had more impact on the team than Keita.
I wouldn't be shocked or sad to see him go, as long as we get a replacement in. Either way, if he decides to see out his contract or sign an extension, as fans, we should really stand behind our players and hope they perform. I'm sure many wanted Matip out, but he turned on the fire last season. Let's hope Keita does the same.

Listened to a podcast on him the other day and it was saying that for him to sign a new contract it would be on more money becaause footballers do not ted to renew for less money and he is wanting more game time.
Interestingly the internet (i'm not saying it is gospel) is saying that Naby paid a larger than normal fine to avoid a criminal record and Reus did the exact same thing a few years prior.
If he does have a criminal record then he's not the only player on our books who has one.

Had we payed 20m for him as we did for Wiji I don’t think he would be so hated. That we was absolutely smashing the German league apart and we popped Barcelona to signing him we had high expectations that he has not matched.

Yeah let’s get rid of another of our proven goal scorers on top of Mane. Fine he sometime doesn’t play well. No worse than Bobby has been for a few years now though and at least he puts the pigskin in the net. Mention losing Bobby though and it’s like scenes from apocalypse now on here and people inevitably talking about his amazing link up play, which again isn’t been amazing for a couple of seasons.
Don’t get it at all. I don’t think anyones leaving but if someone does it will be Bobby well before it’s Jota.
