Keita looking like he wants out, according to various sources. (Please, please let that be true. He needed selling 2 seasons ago as he's nowhere near good enough) .
Should the above happen, would that force us into the market or will the club stick with what they have?

Nk was always going to have a mercenary attitude. It seems the scouts did not do their homework properly on his nature as a human being, and hence they got their fingers burnt.
I would be glad to see him outed ASAP and replaced with someone who can do what he was supposed to week in week out .
Good riddance i say, he is a wide boy.

I would infer from the constant rumours of a new contract, yet no signature, whereas around 5 or 6 other players have signed new contracts in the last year, that the club aren't willing to offer Naby what he feels he's worth.
Of course, I could be putting 2 and 2 together and getting about 630 there.

It's good to see people want the club to invest at least £20m or so (125k a week for a further 3 years for sake of example. Not including bonuses or signing on fees. Bet Keita is looking for more than that too) in Naby because it'll be funny to see the reaction and not because of the player's merits.
Then again when a player's merits are offset by a work ethic that a neutered cat would be ashamed of, I suppose you need something.

Jones is saying that Klopp wants NK to stay and sign a new deal, although Pearce says that the only reason for that is to protect his value.
I can't see the club offering more money to NK, its either going to stay the same or less.
The sooner we replace NK with someone reliable the better (imo) .

Its clear we need a CM to leave to sign another. Purely numbers alone. The club likely expected Ox to leave but got no offers. If Keita or Ox leaves then we can go get another CM.

Ed, I don't understand how Klopp saying we are unlikely to go into the market unless excessive injuries or someone asking to leave. Then in the potential situation of excessive injuries and someone asking to leave then going into the market is being a compulsive liar. Also, how is publicly placing faith on his current squad deemed a bad thing? Should he publicly say we need improvements and they're not good enough? not sure that will de their confidence much good.
