Good morning Ed's. I've seen links to Florentino Luis of Benfica, although it would seem to be foe the same position that Fabinho plays. I was curious if there was any substance to the reports.

Looks very similar in stature and style to Fabinho.

TBH given how Fabinho has played this season then I wonder if we should look at replacing him sooner rather than later. Hopefully he’ll play himself back into the form we’ve seen previously but he looks miles away at the moment!

Does anyone with a deep understanding of tactics have any ideas about which tactical changes could have affected Fab's form, or is this simply down to him having a very rough patch?
It seems that all of the players who don't have solid competition/ rotation options end up dropping off at some point.

Hi Ed, I know he's only joined this summer, but any interest in Enzo Fernandez? Been very impressed every time I've seen Benfica, he seems the one to for from their midfield for me, all-round midfielder. If I could pick any player as a potential long-term Thiago replacement, he'd be very near the top of that list.

Johnnyyr I totally agree mate Fabinho should be replaced he as
been poor for around 6 months now, he mis times tackles and headers and is far too slow, I don't understand what he offers anymore, he cost us again today.

I remember when the words Fabinho replacement meant a non starter, not so sure going off this form the last 9 months.

You don't go from being ranked 14th in the Ballon D'Or nomionations to utter pants. Fabinho will come good. Class is permanent.
