Hi eds, in follow up to player of year for me- Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. What do you think of possibility he join Liverpool?

Update:
Napoli have exceeded all expectations at home and abroad this season, and Kvaratskhelia is rapidly becoming one of Europe's hottest properties. The Serie A side reportedly paid just €10m to acquire the 21-year-old from Dinamo Batuni this summer but he has excelled on the Champions League stage, registering two goals and three assists from five appearances in a series of dynamic and exhilarating performances. Real Madrid, Liverpool and Chelsea are just three of the clubs tracking the Georgian winger ahead of a possible big-money move next summer.

{Ed002's Note - Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (LW) In late 2021 Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Torino, Borussia Dortmund and Lokomotiv Moscow were speaking with Rubin Kazan who said they were not willing to sell at that time. Previously the player had been watched by Bayern Munich and his agent had been hawking him around the Premier League clubs including Everton with, according to him, Leeds showing some interest. CA had been open to the idea of replacing Bolasie and Bernard with him but it was clear something was going on in the background. Remarkably he was sold to Georgian side Dinamo Batumi for money well beyond their means in March 2022. For 3 months Napoli and Juventus discussed a deal with his agent and on July 1, 2022 he moved to Napoli, giving a small profit to Dinamo Batumi. A move to Spain with Real Sociedad was ruled out. Paratici had originally identified him for Juventus and it is a surprise Spurs did not follow up. Roma waited too long to be a viable option. The transfers are potentially going to be looked at by UEFA. Don't rule out Real Madrid, Manchester City or Chelsea looking at taking the player who has also attracted scouts from Liverpool and Juventus. Napoli have no intention of selling.}

Hi ed, thank you for reply. It seemed Liverpool was left out of the initial possible clubs he can join. Are we too high up the value chain for a rookie player? Because it will mean we will always miss out on chances of getting a raw talent like him. By time he blossom, its too late.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure what you are saying but Liverpool showed no interest when he was at Rubin Kazan.}

Looks a great player but I’m very happy with Diaz and big money like that will be better spent elsewhere.

Agree Cobra666. We can't have them all. We've got a great player for that position in Luis Diaz. Plus Darwin, Jota and Carvalho are capable cover in that position.

Mudryk, like Kvara, is an an excellent player. Again, he prefers to come in off the left hand side.

It is the other side that we're not as blessed with options with Ox having failed to establish himself. Elliott is promising but I think he's destined to play more centrally. With Kaide and Doak still very very young, we could do with bringing someone there in the next couple of windows.
