Hi Eds,
The athletic reporting FSG have put the club up for sale, was wondering if there was a) any truth in this. And b) just how lengthy the process of a sale is.

Sorry for the questions, but if we were to sell to Redbird, are they likely to spend more than FSG have? Appreciate you may now know this but you’re more likely to than most.

This sale has been going on for a while FSG have probably been in discussions for some time they don't just come out as they have today and tell all they have put the club up for investment or sale you don't just wake up in the morning and think I will sell my club today they have not got where they are by knee jerk reactions why would they talk the team manager to sign a new contract was it to make possible buyers feel happy to buy knowing the club has an elite manager who is a winner in situ?

Would people want to invest in a football club? Don’t the top ones tend to run at a loss and I would imagine the clubs worth has hit a peak? So it’s not like you will be gaining value.
