Apparently there was a practice game today with the team against Chelsea vs let's say the fringe players. Balotelli & sturridge started upfront for the fringes.
Sturridge scored a hatrick and won it.

Seems strange playing a practise match the day before a real game don't the players usually get a rest days before games ?

I can't see them playing a full game the day before a Cup semi-final. Even so, I think Chelsea will put up more of a fight than our fringe players

Shame were not playing against the fringe players then! Plus shouldn't Balotelli have been n the other side? He's certainly not a starter at the minute.
