This is a question to Ed 1, I know you're sick of hearing LFC fans with their hindsight views and is this and that possible, but regarding next season, which coaches/managers have been looked at as possibilities to replace BR if they follow through with a decision to part ways with him? I'll judge BR at the end of the season but just curious to hear if the club have started to make efforts with particular people around the roles in management. Thanks a heap mate, appreciate your work!

{Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware there have been no managers or coaches yet been talked to or looked at. There are people favouring looking at certain coaches or managers, but, unless it has happened over the last week or so while I have been out of touch, nothing has actually advanced. Most likely it will be when the season ends.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed001 do you know of any of the coaches these people are favouring. I'm stuck between thinking is it better sticking with the devil you know or is the grass greener with another manager. But if your manager isn't doing his job like this season he hasn't both transfers and on the pitch then

{Ed001's Note - I know one person who favours De Boer still. I am not sure how sticking with a failing manager is in any way better. If it takes 6 or 7 attempts to find the right guy, then we need to make those changes. The only thing we can be sure of is that Rodgers is not and never will be the right guy. He is little short of embarrassing and turning into a joke with his imbecilic comments.}

I think the final straw for me has been the way he has spoken of us not being experienced enough and wanting it too much. Our players have won titles in other leagues, played European football, won trophies, a lot of Aston Villa's players, no disrespect, are much less experienced and clearly wanted it much more. De Boer for me would be a good choice I have watched Ajax on and off over this season and although they have not won the title they have played the same way as you would expect of Ajax and he is a manager who as a player was successful and been in positions of pressure like Champions League finals, won titles and knows how to treat players in these situations as he's been there. Is there any interest from Liverpool or elsewhere in Phillip Cocu or is he staying put? I have seen he has won the title for PSV this season. Cheers as always Ed

You can be sure if and when Rodgers is replaced it will be for a high calibre manager. The experiment with Rodgers is a failure. I expect Klopp or de Boer to be top of the list.
