Aquilani, Dossena, Balotelli, Borini etc. our record in spotting "talent" from Italy hasn't been impressive.

Think this is largely emanating from The Telegraph - where their sports pages are pushing the idea that he will be brought in as a replacement for Balotelli. Looking at his scoring record at Dortmund, at least it's a like-for-like LOL.
