Hi eds, reds,
Reports emerging that we are in interested in Bacca over the last few days. As an ed pointed out everyone is interested in bacca as he was the best striker in la liga outside the top 2 last season.
Its also reported that he would be keen on a move to the prem?
My question is to the eds knowledge would he be interested in a move to Liverpool? At 28 and already at a very good team I could only see him wanting to move to prem contenders?
Is this just another story to fill the back pages?

{Ed002's Note - I have explained over and over that Liverpool were looking at him again at the end of the season. Other clubs have been interested and some have turned away over his demands to be playing as a first choice.}

Ed002- Liverpool would be silly not to offer him first choice given our recent striking issues. Do you think a deal could be reached for him

Does make sense not too guarentee football but I definitely think he would improve the squad. Would be nice if we could get him in and other possible targets mentioned like Firmino and Kovacic. I won't hold my breath because we seem to mess up on one big deal never mind three but here's to hoping. Cheers for the constant updates Eds

I meant top 2 clubs, I believe the little Uruguayan plays for one of them!
