Afternoon Eds and fellow Liverpool supporters {YNWA}, EdS with all the rumours about Brendan rogers Liverpool future position, if he were to be relieved of duties, in your opinion when will tis take place?

Thanks

{Ed002's Note - I understand from Macca that Ancelotti has been talking with the club. I don't know the detail. I also can't predict who would take his place. Over the summer the club could have opted for change and settled everything for a while by taking Jorge Jesus for a couple of years - probably my choice. Now that option is not available. One needs to step back and be objective about change and not make it just for "the hell of it" or whatever - it is a big deal and initially disrupting. I see the craving for the "bootroom" approach as unfounded. I see the clamoring for Klopp as "without any sensible foundation". I see any change to simply appease the fans as potentially a "shot in the foot". I would have moved him on this past summer - as I have explained. Then there were options. Doing it now i way more risky; way less options exist.

Blitzed a little but there are a number of managers with growing or well respected reputations I can think of. Normally I would avoid naming names but given that for most of the rest of the day the posts will end up on the Other page, as a special treat I will. One real standout right now is Italian Roberto Stellone and another is German Roger Schmidt. In France, both Willy Sagnol and Olivier Echouafni have growing reputations. Although over the limit age wise, Philippe Montanier is gaining a lot of respect. Spain, the stand out attracting attention is Diego Simeone. In Russia there are people expecting Murat Yakin to move on. The Netherlands has the likes of De Boer and Phillip Cocu. Elsewhere Laudrup, Petrescu, Hutter and Martinez are well thought of.

My advice is listen to those who have a rational opinion - not the knee jerk reaction folk. There are Liverpool supporting Eds trying to buy sniper rifles on eBay. It won't work. It needs managing, and it needs managing well, I have told Ed001 that he needs to listen to someone older and much better looking - and have offered my services.}
