According to someone i know who claimed he has an itk inside liverpool, liverpool will be looking to offload sturridge, allen, enrique and lovren in january as they have been identified as the weak links in the squad, for various reasons.

Anybody else heard anything like this?

Not heard it but all make complete sense.

Ed002 has also been aluding to sturridge leaving for the past couple of months.

Wouldn't be worried about any of them going to be honest.

Sturridge needs Italy or Spain where he might get away with having to be so fit and therefore reduce injuries.

Really don't see Sturridge going in Jan unless there is a replacement lined up.

Can't see studge going as long as Ings is out injured.

Can not see Sturridge going in January. From what my guy tells me, Klopp wants everything possible done to keep him fit for a sustained period of time.

Don't get all this cool calmness about the possibility of studge leaving. yes I fully understand he is having a terrible rub of injuries. But for God sake the lad is still young and overcome this, and is one of the best strikers in the prem league. He really does get the love from our supporters I feel. just my opinion.

We'd be lucky to get ten million for him, rather keep him for that, unless klopp sees firmino as the cover for benteke until Ings is back.

LOL we have some funny fans and posters! Sturridge is quality. Yes he picks up injuries. Shall we also sell Henderson? Gomez? Yes. I understand he gets injured more frequently than others but this is not good. We shouldn't treat people this way.

A lot of people stuck with Suarez and his whole racism debacle. Then when he bit people a lot of people still wanted to keep him.

Be a ****er that's fine. get injured and we don't want you.

Nice one.

Who is going to sign sturridge when he hasn't even played half a season over the last two?

04 Nov 2015 12:42:34
Do Man City say the same about Aguero?

Yes, he's more injury prone than Darren Anderton (reference for the oldies there! ), but he's class when he's available and we need all the class we've got.

04 Nov 2015 23:32:56
Seriously? Who at this point in time would splash the cash on Sturridge? Way too much of a risk for any buying club!

eds I disagree with your comment that SG has not been good enough for years. He was pivotal in our title challenge in the deeper role!

{Ed001's Note - in some respects yes, but his lack of defensive awareness was a huge part of the reason we shipped so many goals and failed to win it.}
