Hi eds and fellow reds,
Usually don't like to join in on gossips and rumours, but have you seen the youtube video of Alex Teixera's interview with Anfield HQ? (I won't put the link here in case that's not allowed, just search Anfield HQ on youtube and you'll find it)
It's really worth a watch as it's about his feelings towards Liverpool, to summarise he's trying his best to come to Liverpool to reunite with Coutinho (who he played with since 10 years old), and he wasn't sure why Shakhtar rejected our offer of 32 million euros (his own words) . Also to his knowledge Liverpool haven't put in a second bid, but his agent is trying his best to complete his move to Anfield, and its now up to the president whether or not he'll be allowed to leave.
I have no idea why or how he's allowed to have an interview to talk about him wanting to leave the club (surely Shakhtar wouldn't allow that especially as he's in his Shakhtar kit in the video), but now I've got my hopes even higher that he will come this transfer window!
Come on transfer committee you can do it!

I can't see why shatkar would have an issue with that as it just sets in concrete for interested parties he wants to leave but we won't let him until we get what we want for him to be honest it looks and sound like an ingenious marketing ploy

I know the president is trying to hold out for more money obviously, but there has to be a moment where 40 million Euros or whatever we offer is better than an unhappy player, I'm sure they could get a decent replacement for that money. I know he doesn't want to sell, and I hope if it doesn't go through, he doesn't give up trying for shaktar.
Even if we do end up paying more, for both parties they should try and resolve it quickly, even if it is a definite no.

Yh I watched this as well jus seems players really dnt have a say in wt they want if he really wants to cum to liverpool ten shakhtar surely need to make sum sort of compromise am sure they dnt want an unhappy player on there hands especially when there going for the title the president jus needs to stop being stubborn lol.

Hi eds, with this video do you think he's just trying to engineer a move to the premiership no matter who with, can't blame him especially if he's trying to raise his profile and try to get in the Brazil squad for the world cup, I personally think it will piss his owners off and they'll hang on to him or increase the price even more to put all suitors off.

Jesus I'm shocked to see this kind of interview to be honest. If a pool player did it you'd all be up in arms over it. You'd have to question his character to have the balls to do that kind of interview whilst still under contract with someone else.

If anything you can't blame the guy for wanting out of Ukraine after all that has happened recently. There are things other than money these guys think about from time to time, family for one.

Fully agreee with irishkopite.
T'm kinda shocked watching this. can only imagine a liverpool player doing something like this i would be infuriated. Ofcourse its nice to see players wanting to join the club and its fine to let your manager and president know, but There should be a line, no need to come out publicly and question your team who've given you so much and are paying your salary. after all you are still an employee and under contract.

I don't think we should pay the high price for Teixera, we would better spending our money on Mahrez next season and trying to sort out our midfield, Xhaka and Gundogan would be great additions with Grujic, Hendo and Can . we have enough strikers when all fit with Ings, Origi, Studge and even Firmino.
