Afternoon eds

I read ed02s latest on players we have been watching, but who if anyone do you think we could get this window?

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - I am not going to get in to trying to tie anything to timescales, but out of the players I listed NKoudou was watched again by Liverpool scouts (joined by representation of Southampton now) but Marseille do not expect anything to happen this month. A bid for Nolito would not be out of the question.}

Buy Nkoudou off Saints in 6 moths time then 😄.

Cheers ed

I appreciate not getting into timescales as things change fast, just seeing if we would see any movement in the next couple of days.

Thanks again.

I think we'd be better keeping the wallet closed if the option is Nolito and waiting til the summer as he's not going to be better than the options we already have.

Mr dennis have you ever seen nolito play? He's won the most motm awards in la Liga this season tied with Neymar. He'd definitely get in to our team.

Yes Nolito is good player but with Barcelona looking for him, will he be int to come here?

30 Jan 2016 17:46:45
Samikewell, he doesn't want to sit on the bench at Barcelona so I'd say we have a good chance with him.

Sorry but disagree about Nolito, he's 29 and at the wrong end of his career. I've seen him and am not exactly overwhelmed, I'd rather we didn't spend money on him which would be a waste given his age, I honestly don't think he'll add anything that we don't already have.

Interesting tip Ed. Thanks. Klopp does seem to have been looking out for a left sided forward.
I guess we'd better get busy slagging him off for being slow and old and hamstrung and a bit too handsome to be successful at Liverpool.

Certainly no player who's over 25, costs less than 50 billion and has one name could possibly make a difference to our team this season.
It's not like his 35 goals and 21 assists in 2 1/ 2 seasons says anything. And the fact that Klopp and Enrique rate him is certainly no indicator of him having quality.

He's too old as he'll be 30 this year, you could only justify bringing him in if he was a nailed on world class player like a Robben or a Suarez, which he is nowhere near. I would be dissapointed if we bring him in as its a badly thought out quick fix and isn't a player we need. In fact it makes no sense as he's another number 10 type and we've loads of them if that's not escaped your notice.
