Hi Eds
Is it true that Sinclair refused to play for the 21s today. I find this a bit odd as surely he played (briefly) for the first team yesterday. I know he is being linked with Watford but surely Adie Ward wouldn't do something that daft again?

{Ed001's Note - I haven't heard sorry, but it is a tactic Ward would look to use if necessary to force a move. Ward only cares about his bank balance and Sinclair joined him to make money.}

i think those guys who called sinclair ingrate and aidy ward as evil agent will need to wake up their idea. the world revolves around $. What sterling and now sinclair doing is a norm rather exception. Liverpool managment will need to come up with a sustainable plan to retain these young talents, if not might as well scrap the academy.

{Ed001's Note - you really have no idea, neither of those came through our academy, so what on earth has losing two pricks got to do with scrapping it? Ward is a piece of dog turd, the world may revolve around $ but these players are already wealthy and what they revolve around is greed, not $.}

Here here!

01 Feb 2016 07:54:30
Why would we want to retain a young talent like Sinclair?
He has zero humility and zero loyalty.
It's happened to plenty of players who think they're the dog's and end up as failures. Don't know why he thinks he'd get into any other Premier League club's 1st 11. Get rid of him asap, I don't even want to see him play for us anymore. And Brooks Lennon scored again, so happy days.

01 Feb 2016 08:48:51
Yeah I never got all this hype with Sinclair. Jack Dunn for me is far better but he seems to have disappeared.

01 Feb 2016 09:05:06
Anyone represented by Ward should not be touched by LFC. Contrary to Ward and Gordon Gecko GREED is NOT GOOD!

01 Feb 2016 09:41:46
Jack Dunn has had long term injury problems, but he came off the bench yesterday against Reading.

Today, Liverpool are going to swap Sinclair and Benteke for Deeney and Ighalo. Unfortunately for Liverpool, this will be happening in my imagination.

(mmm, oh yeah, that's nice, we're going to win the league now)

Aidy Ward is not evil as far as I can tell, but he is greedy. It's probably a useful trait for a football agent 😄.
However, he seems to lack any ethics, there seems to be no low he won't stoop to to achieve his aims and he is happy to use young impressionable players to do his dirty work.
Fortunately he seems to be one of few. Karma will bite him one day.

As for Sinclair, I feel sorry for him, he is being misled and will develop a bad reputation which is hard to shake off.

01 Feb 2016 11:14:42
Aidy ward is no different than any other agent i know.

01 Feb 2016 11:16:03
If he has refused then I hope the club fines him within the code of the conduct at the club. I think it would then be fair to make him train with the youth team and exclude him from u21 and first team training.

01 Feb 2016 11:26:23
which other agents do you "know" smithy?

01 Feb 2016 11:28:42
Smithy - you know a lot of agents who go on TV and say their client would refuse a contract offer of 900k/ week do you?

01 Feb 2016 11:42:05
zeddicus: quite a few, including aidy. If aidy ward was doing what he does (what every other agent does) to get player to liverpool. liverpool fans wouldn't have a bad word to say about him.

{Ed001's Note - well that's a lie, as I would not be happy and would say so. And Ward is not like every other agent at all.}

01 Feb 2016 11:51:03
Ron:He thought it was off the record when he made them quotes.

{Ed001's Note - no he did not, he knew what the score was and played on it.}

01 Feb 2016 11:55:04
With our shortage of strikers it would have been ideal for Sinclair to burst on the scene but he was busy bitching. Not even Sterling was that greedy.

01 Feb 2016 11:55:17
Yeah that is nonsense Smithy, he won't ever change his MO so if you sign one of his players then you're just the next club he will try to humiliate.

01 Feb 2016 12:16:10
That your opinion ed! you can say that ed but if anyone is honest they know i'm right. Alex teixeira just made a video declaring his love for liverpool, i don't see any liverpool fans slating his agent! . If that was a liverpool player we all know what would be happening.

{Ed001's Note - actually it was nothing to do with his agent, it was a local TV company that shoved the mic under his nose after a match in the US. That was the player. So I really do not see the relevance between this and Sterling. Though you would find if you bothered to listen to the podcast we do that I stated quite clearly I was not comfortable with it and would not be happy if he was one of our players and that it would make me look elsewhere.}

01 Feb 2016 12:28:12
Ed001 most supporters don't know that. you might not be comfortable with it, but most fans don't care.

{Ed001's Note - you said all, backtrack all you like but you were wrong.}

01 Feb 2016 12:28:39
We're never going to agree on this Smithy, but next time you see him be sure to let him know we all think he's a devious, conniving rat and to enjoy it whilst he can because Karma is going to really sting. 😉.

01 Feb 2016 12:58:09
nearly all then ed 😜. he ain't that bad ron, just wants the best deal for his clients.

01 Feb 2016 13:03:48
Whats the footballing world thoughts on aidy ward ed? Its quite clear on here what we think of him on, but do other clubs/ owners/ managers share the same view as us?
Cheers.

{Ed001's Note - I really couldn't speak for all of them, but West Brom made Berahino dump him as an agent, which speaks volumes.}

01 Feb 2016 13:55:49
In an ideal business world, I'd say those involved should conduct themselves like gentlemen and play by the rules. But the reality is really quite far from this. I dislike Ward and Sterling as much as any other LFC fan, but I also admit that I'm not really that surprised by it. It's the big money business world. Their one error was to be so vocal about their strategies and tactics, which won them so much praise and adulation (sarcastic snicker) . If they'd kept everything only on the negotiating table and behind closed doors (as is done 98% of the time), I think our perceptions would be slightly different. In hindsight, I don't think Suarez's (and his agent's) strategies and tactics were much different but we just don't know about it, because it probably all happened behind closed doors. I'm simply a fan and not directly involved in football dealings in any way. But I know the ruthlessness in big money business, and prisoners are rarely taken.
