Are the rumours true that Liverpool are stopping Sinclair moving to Watford because they want to use him as a makeweight in other deals? If true do you know what deals?

I can't see a non English team taking him imo.

{Ed002's Note - He has turned down an offer from Spain. I am not sure what deals the original poster expect Liverpool to be using Sinclair in today.}

Yeah, shaktar want 50 mil for teix but will halve that request if we throw in the highly sought after Sinclair.

Ed002, he got it from a Times journalist on Twitter. Makes no sense to me as he's out of contract in the summer.

Ed002, its just twitter nonsense from Sami Mokbel from the Daily Mail. Personally I expect today to be a quiet deadline day and Jim White to get the hump about it.

its crap. as far as i'm aware Sinclair is contracted till the end of this season meaning that while he has been able to talk to, and sign a pre-contract with foreign teams since Jan 1st he is not allowed to talk to, or sign a pre contract with english based teams until some point in May. Ed's please correct me if i'm wrong.

{Ed023's Note - I think it's June but yes you are correct in what you're saying}

Cheers Ed23. wasn't sure if it was one or two months before the end of his contract.

{Ed023's Note - You're welcome}

Is there a reason we're not selling while can make something rather than letting him run down contract - would we be in for more in compensation if he left on a "free"?

{Ed001's Note - possibly.}

Thanks Ed, possible lesson learned from our problems with Ings fee then?

{Ed001's Note - I would assume so.}
