Question for Ed001
Im sorry mate its on Gotze.
In YOUR honest opinion do you think we will push to get him in the Summer?
And do you think we need him?

Really hope we pass this one by. We do not need Gotze, and certainly not for 20 million plus. There are more important positions that need to be improved on before we go for luxury signings. BTW Ed001, any truth to the Yarmolenko rumors? He is a winger and a very good one at that so would definitely be a quality addition imo.

{Ed001's Note - because signing him would come with suspicions of tapping him up, which, thanks to Gerrard, the club is already under the microscope over. Secondly because we don't. We have an injury prone striker, we don't need one in midfield.}

Ok mate. So you don't think we will push to sign him because we will open ourselves up for tapping the player up? Surely won't stop Klopp if he wants him and we have not tapped him up to date.
{Ed001's Note - the fact that they talk constantly through texts would mean that the club might make the decision for him, that it is not worth the risk, even if he wanted him. I would hope he would have more sense than to do a Rodgers and buy yet another attacking midfielder we don't need, just because he can. He made the mistake in January of bringing in a player we didn't need, I would hope he learnt from that.}

I could see Benteke sold and push firminho up top. Than gotze could be a option. Can this club sign someone who's as good as gotze.

Ya they are I also rate lallana but with style kloop trying to play u need a options . To give players a rest whan they need it.

Firmino and coutinho are actually better in my opinion. Both can have their off days but in terms of natural ability and stats they are better. As for lallana, really like lallana although he has been more disappointing than impressive since he's come here, he's probably a better dribbler and harder worker than goetze, but goetze is just more productive than him, which is the most important thing in football. Don't think we need goetze though, would have preferred texiera if we wanted to get an attacking midfielder.

All clubs tap players up I know this first hand, yes SG was stupid in saying this in his book but ed all clubs are looked at it doesn't make it worse for lfc because SG mentions it.
