Hi Eds,

I'm just looking for some information, its not a question on suarez moving to us, all i'm asking is if he wants to see out his football at Barcelona or will he move again because last week he said he would only come back to liverpool fc if he was to come back to england, so in your opinion would suarez come back to us if he was going to/ if move back to the prem, because i would love us to have him back, as i can't see him moving to another club in the prem, i'm not saying he won't go to an other club in the prem, but i would love to see him play for us with klopp as our manager, i know this is all if'd and but's but that's what football is all about and that is dreams, as in dreaming we will win the prem one season or the champs league again,

{Ed002's Note - Manchester City are keen on Suarez and have held discussions with his agent but he is not their first choice although he is probably a viable option for them. Barcelona really need to sell one of their three forwards to relieve the financial issues surrounding wages - but they are reluctant.

Liverpool do not enter in to the matter.}

I don't understand how Suarez could not be anyone's first choice to be honest. The man is a phenomenon. City have so much money they wouldn't care about him being 29 with not much sell on value unless it's China I suppose. Out of interest Eds 002 who are City looking at forward wise?

{Ed002's Note - You need the Manchester City page for that BD.}

Nice one ed002 for your answer, i heard that man city were after him or interested in him but as i said suarez came out and said that if he were to return to the prem he would only play for us, maybe that's if we were in for him, as you have said liverpool do not enter into the matter meaning they are not interested in him maybe he meant if we were in for him he would come to us, again i would love to see him work with klopp because for me he is in the top 3 players in the world with messi and ronaldo, because there is no doubting his ability and i just thought he was a klopp type of player, he has shown he can play with couthino and sturridge add firmino to the mix then you would see one of the best attacking forward line in the prem if not the best because who would the defenders mark out of them 4, one of them would always be free which would lead to a goal for us, in my mind it would be a big mistake not to go in for him if he was for sale, why should we let man city get him and what he brings to the game, the man is a winner he has proven that when he was with us last time, it was because of him that we nearly won the prem because without his goals and assists then we would have been no where near winning the prem also sturridge played a lot better when suarez was in the team, oh well i will have to dream on, thank you very much for your answer ed002, i would hate to see him playing for man city, i don't know about this investor from the middle east if its true or not but if its true and its the brother or half brother to the man city owners then we would have the money to buy suarez, also i think he has calmed down since he has been at Barcelona so it will be a different suarez to the one we had,

We'd have better odds of colonel Colonel Gadaffi turning up for coffee at the White House before we see Suarez sign for Liverpool. Where do you think Liverpool will get the gazillions it will take in transfer fee, wages, agent fees, taxes etc to fund this move mcbrock99? Our owners are looking to sell and until that happens that will mean expenditure will be moderated and frugal from here on in.

05 Apr 2016 01:16:09
I have no idea what mbrock99 said to be honest. I began reading the post but it just turns into a rant that is so hard to read. Am I correct in thinking mbrock99 that you are asking will Luis sign for city post Pep taking over?

So Manchester City does not mind Suarez's past record and behavior?

{Ed002's Note - It will be a concern.}

05 Apr 2016 07:25:25
Agree AG, it should be a concern.
Our club needs to move on from Suarez IMO.
Great player - when he's not banned for biting or racism.

Loved Suarez despite his stupidity, he was/ is incredible. I'd be gutted if he went to man city but it won't happen. He'll never return to the premier league.

05 Apr 2016 16:47:26
His wages now are obscene. We couldn't afford him anyway.

my post was not meant to be a rant, sorry if it came across like that, i was just asking for information on him, I've heard that pep wuadiola is supposed to be keen on bringing him to man city when he takes over, so after reading that suarez said he would only ever play for liverpool if he ever came back to the prem, so no rant just asking for some imformative information from the eds, so liverbirdaet1 read it again and you will see its no rant, if i was having a rant you would know about it, but seeing as your mocking my question what do you make of it all, suarez says he will only play for liverpool if he was to come back to the prem and pep guardiola is anting to bring him to man city, which mean to me anyway that Barcelona could be willing to sell, and if our owners sell to the middle east people it will mean we have the money to compete with man city, but its just my opinion, and i don't really care about yours so make of it what you will.

Don't think our owners are going anywhere yet.
Players say all sorts of rubbish then their agent changes the rhetoric - it's best to ignore players, they're not very intelligent.
I don't like suarez, he was a great player for us but missed about 25% of the games through suspension.
He's getting older now, the premiership is more difficult than La Liga. We did well financially out of him, best to move on IMO.

He is an exceptional player and it is interesting that he has said he'd only move to Liverpool in premier league - he has either got more sense than we credited him with (to say that, regardless of whether or not true) or genuinely loved the place. BUT, realistically, considering he is exceptional you'd expect somewhere else on the continent to be looking at him if he was willing to move.

{Ed001's Note - amazing that he says that, but he was willing to go to court to force LFC to accept an offer from Arsenal for him.}
