Hi Ed002,
With Sakho facing an imminent ban, do you think Liverpool could turn to Sule? I think you recommended him as a player we should/ could target, and he seems very highly rated in Germany.

Thanks for the reply Ed, would've preferred Sule on the reports I've heard/ read but hopefully Matip comes in a proves to be an absolute legend.

Matip is in the official Bundesliga team of the season. Not seen much of him but seems like he is highly rated in Germany.

to be fair ed i think saving the transfer fee makes matip the better deal plus he has more experience u have said we are in a lot of debt.

Apparently sule and tahs agents were at the final. Sakho will be kept. Skrtel toure ilori wisdom jones will be sold. Need then 2 cbs as gomez will cover fullbacks.

Voted into Bundesliga team of the year. there's a lot of centre backs in Bundesliga, believe it or not. He must be good.

I think with the possible outgoings we would have Lovren sahko (banned), matip and probably toure as our centre backs with Lucas as a utility centre back/ defensive midfielder (I could also see Lucas going tbh) . Is Lucas was to leave then I think we would definitely need a centre back as it is, it would be typical of us not to get one in even though we need more quality in there. I don't think matip is an improvement on what we have already from what I've seen since we got him.

I watch bundesliga regularly and matip is easily a 20 million defender. Has a great partnership with howedes, he's very good in the air, strong and likes to bring it out and play a bit. A poor man's Hummels if you would. He ain't going to be no bench warmer.

People seem to be forgetting Joe Gomez, is he not a CB?
I know he played LB at the start of the season but thought his natural position was CB.
