This is that wonderful time of the year where clubs will tel Liverpool . He cost 5 . 10 . 15 . Or 20 or 30 million. And lfc will offer 2 or 6 or 11 or 13 or 26 million
Spurs Chelsea and any other club will pay the money straight away . Get their man. And lfc will be buying the 3rs or 4th choice option . End up mid table again because their results are inconsistent and average with highs and lows theougout the season

Liverpool should be selling lallana and definitely coutinho complete overrated players. Play one game score and then go missing for ten and then pop up with 1 good game then disappear
And then one of them ends up with lots of awards at the end! Wow.

Ja Kurtz i wonder, do you think we should only spend above our means, only buy "marquee" signing. Do you think Mahrez and Kante were giant names in football for only the top clubs in Europe when they signed for Leicester. I find that a ridiculous statement by you, but to be fair you are allowed your opinion and me mine.

Have we learned nothing from Leicester this year? Don't write players off as "mid table" signings without actually seeing them in action for Liverpool. I'm sure if we'd signed Mahrez or Kante when they were unknown i'm sure they'd have been criticised too.
£20 million doesn't necessarily get you quality as we have proven many times in recent years. And as Leicester have proved a good team is better than 11 stars.

I don't actually mean that we are looking at bad players or that won't be good. What I mean is we need a hell of a lot more instant quality than we are looking at right now to close the gap.

Maybe seem mid table signings on paper but so do Leicesters entire current squad - if they fit in to klopps system and play with the heart he seems to demand, welcome aboard. Rather have that than a big name for 40 mil who doesnt. Happy to spend the cash for someone of proven class to elevate the team but for now let's hope 15 mil for 3 players turns out to be shrewd business and the start of us not over paying for not even nailed on quality buys.

Philippe Coutinho is not as irreplaceable as most people think as he is more than capable of changing a game but he is too inconsistent at the same time and goes missing for large periods of a season. Jurgen Klopp doesn't build squads around a single player and will instill even more camaraderie amongst our players and they will progress under his guidance. If we are going to play 433 next season then we need a CB, LB, RW and LW as we are stacked in every other position.
