How true is the link Danny ings to Swansea? I hope we keep him he looked good before that injury last season.

Given the amount of hassle we've been through to decide how much to pay for him I'd be amazed if this were true.
I hope Danny is training hard and expect him to get plenty pre-season games given most of our strikeforce are away at various international contests. That should see him fit and ready to go for 2016/ 17.
I see him as perfect for that role just behind a main striker - buzzing about and annoying defenders to make space for someone like Sturridge - a bit like Suarez, but not that good obviously.

Can't see it happening if we sell Benteke as planned. Think he will be an excellent third striker and complements the other 2 well, bringing something different to the bench.

I don't think he'd be third striker for long Zimbo. If he gets back to the level he was at before injury, and then continues improving he'd soon be 1st / 2nd choice.

He's not what we need to be a top 4 side. Mid table player at best.

before last season would you have described vardy as a mid table player? I thought the same about Ings myself before I saw him play for us, his performances changed my mind for me, looking forward to him having a injury free season.

I think ings will stay myself. But I feel if we sell benteke to another English side he will come back to haunt us like Carroll did last season. My opinion we are still short of a CB . I don't know much about matip so I'd still like to see somebody proven . Shawcross anybody?

Ings is a great option to have as competition to or even as a 1st striker. Pacey hard working and a good finisher, I don't see why he can't be our Vardy, just much younger! Gutted we didn't get him when originally linked with him in burnleys promotion season and gutted when he got injured. No way he's leaving.
