Looks like clyne will miss start of season with back injury. Do you think milner will start at RB or does klopp have enough faith in young trent to give him the start?

Has to be Trent, nothing against Milner but Trent needs a run of games to prove that he can be the teams first choice RB.

Just read that TAA is training seperately to everyone else on a specific program to make sure he's in prime condition. I would assume that means Klopp is looking to him for rb. Although he could turn to Milner still obviously. Personally think TAA deserves a chance.

Taa will do well there but klopp may want to protect the lad from the insane pressures of premiership. Ya know, a couple of mistakes and he is doomed to play for sunderland in perpetual twilight. Milner is good for solid cover there, obviously right footed so would be fine. got to give the youngster a chance though. I remember another promising youngster who started his senior career at Liverpool at RB. Whatever happened to him? ;didn't he win the European cup?

Clyne's injury could very well see him drop down the pecking order as Gomez or TAA could show to be capable of producing better results at RB.

personally i think its TAA if i recall right he played against united last season at rb so hopefully he should be up to the job i think he is and someone said earlier if we are lucky he pushes clyne out.

Gomez, Klopp said in an interview he'd cover the full back positions as TAA is offensively ready to start but defensively still has to improve a lot.

I thought Gomez looks better defensively. TAA definatelyou at some point during the season but I'm not sure if it should be straight away.

I think Klopps reasoning is that the youg lads have a way higher level of attacking play tha they do defending play, its to be able to attack while being always aware of your position in case of a counter attack .
Easier said than done I think.
He also mentioned about them working on processing the ball quicker while attacking.

From Klopps comments, guessing Gomez will be playing, as I'm sure he'll want to be sure we're defensively solid first game out. I'd expect Milner to start LB rather than throwing in Robbo deep end.

I would prefer TAA as he offers more going forward but I will understand if Klopp goes with Gomez at least to assure that we are defensively sound from the jump. I do think we have enough quality to get at Watford even if Gomez does not offer more going forward.
