Rather get the feeling that Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season. if not before.

13 Aug 2017 01:04:07
Why do you get this feeling?

{Ed002's Note - Indian food of inderminent origin is my guess.}

13 Aug 2017 01:27:57
wouldn't blame him if he left especially if his hands are tied on transfer deals for weeks he's been saying coutinho is priceless and going nowhere now he says it's out of his hands not up to him if coutinho goes. since FSG took over there dealings on transfers have been an absolute shambles.

13 Aug 2017 01:42:29
It looks like his hands are tied when it comes to our defence.

13 Aug 2017 01:42:51
I would argue that a lot of the transfer failings are to do with him tapping up players which is nothing short of embarrassing.

13 Aug 2017 01:49:06
Klopp can piss off to the training field and stay there. Leave the transfers alone.

Ed001, digging for inside word on my speculative thought - I think that klopp Has been reprimanded for the vvd saga, and now regards Coutinho I'm thinking the owners have told him to butt out. So maybe his comments about the transfers being in the owners was a bit of a sulky / Passover aggressive sook about being put into line? Left field I know.!

{Ed001's Note - no, it was more about the fact that he knows Couts can not be persuaded to stay by him now.}

13 Aug 2017 02:09:33
Especially as RBL and SH showed us they are in control. But at the end of the day the only reason he's now staying as they can't get a replacement as Klopp has totally wasted the summer on two players he can't get. Then settled for a LB after missing several others. So from couts point he must be pissed. If we had VVD Keita Dalbert and £100m. That would have been a great summer.

13 Aug 2017 03:09:51
That is part of the game. Haven't we had it with kieta and vvd? Klopp has said the right things. You're not going to come out and keep saying "sure, our best player? Yes he is for sale" It's not about being let down by owners for klopp I'm sure. The case is he wants out and who wants a player who would rather be elsewhere? I certainly don't. My worry is we are not going to be able to land a suitable replacement. Liverpool transfer activity has left me really concerned as we can't seem to get deals over the line. Don't know much about napoli player but I think Meyer would be a massive asset. He is only going to get better too. is vvd happening? We hope so. Is kieta? We are told so and something has happened with the betting there. Again it's far from definite. So what gives us reason to believe we can land Meyer or insgua? Been a frustrating summer eh. Thought this summer was going to be massive for us. In a good way.

Looks like Mignolet's hands are tied half of the time!

13 Aug 2017 05:28:53
smeg head - mignolet has hands?

13 Aug 2017 06:29:14
Ed001 what is your opinion are we signing more players this transfer window or not?

{Ed001's Note - I stick by my opinion that we will sign more players.}

13 Aug 2017 06:39:55
Looks like the defenders feet are tied more like.

13 Aug 2017 06:40:55
thank you. I wish fans wound calm down. The main issue i see is mistakes have been made but we have a new club CEO in Moore and hints have been made about new signinga are still afoot. I think everyone should wait until September.

13 Aug 2017 06:52:48
Out of the players we have shown the most interest in, I cannot see any of them joining now. AOC is wanted by Chelsea, while RBL and Southampton are still refusing to budge on VVD and Keita. Its a shambles if Klopp and Co now have to come up with new targets just weeks before the window closes.

13 Aug 2017 07:23:28
Agree with ed1 think Koop is angry with pc and is basically washing his hands of it, expect pc gone this week.

13 Aug 2017 07:37:38
It's a hard one with PC. If I take my red glasses off its very obvious to see why he wants to go to Barcelona but, putting in a request a day before the new season is shocking. Being an LFC supporter I tell ya!

13 Aug 2017 08:48:10
Klopp will have a ready made excuse if we fail to challenge for the league, which must be the minimum target this year.
"You sold my best player, after I said he wasn't for sale.

13 Aug 2017 09:36:29
I think the attack on Klopp from the family source as clearly turned the tied in does he stay or should he go.
I think the Sakho saga will show everyone that Klopp's not the sort to forgive or forget.
We should let him go for the good of the dressing room.
Please use Ward against the alehouse teams, as his time in the Championship would of gave him a lot of experience dealing with physical teams.
Liverpool should of put that game to bed in the 2nd half. The last corner! Migs and Pickford both made saves that went out for corners at the end of games One stood at nr post like a scarecrow the other came flying out and punched it clear.
My problem with Migs he waits to long to react grow some balls and get a goalkeeper who takes charge.

13 Aug 2017 11:16:53
Canada - Migs has hands, they are usually covering his eyes. 🤝.

FSG are responsible for the current situation, and Klopp should walk? They are running the summer transfer business from Boston Harbour, are they? Then what are the people at the club in Liverpool doing?

They have had all summer to fix the defense, and find a defensive midfielder. Nothing.

We ship goals like we get points for doing it. This was a problem from before Klopp took over. Yet our defensive recruitment in the last 2 years amounts to Klavan, Matip, and Robertson. Who made these decisions? Henry? Werner? Linda?

And naturally FSG are going to look into selling Coutinho. He and the whole Barcelona armada have made the situation almost untenable.

13 Aug 2017 21:51:04
Don't like hearing liverpool fans talking like this. I've had some doubts but it was wrong. We moan about not lifting the trophy for 26 years and in the next breath start talking about the manager going after one dissapointin result. We are not going to win the league if we keep changing back room staff every three years. I used to be proud of us in the days of rafa when everyone else was changing managers evert year. Klopp needs time, I hate it when muppet like Phil neville say things like "he's had time" 1 1/ 2 years is nothing. Still looks a lot like BR side in many respects. (Thought he would have bought us the title given time. Unpopular I know but look at what he's done since) we need to stand firmly behind our club, through good and bad. Pc is going. So what? We have better players and will sign more class in the future. I fancy us to win on tuesday, hoping for first mane hat trick. Let's support our manager Coz he's a goodun. If given time I'm sure he will crack it. We can see how much we've improved last season and if not for a few bad injuries I really think we would've been there right to the end. Note. Has mane ever scored lfc hat trick?

13 Aug 2017 23:41:05
#superred91 how many quality players do you sign before? Every player are good and better. What evidence do you think fsg and board will sanction monies to add quality to this lfc side, when Torress was sold, Suarez, sterling and now Coutinho is going?

14 Aug 2017 00:39:29
Umm Sterling and Torres haven't exactly been tearing it up since they left. In hindsight we sold well with them.

And Suarez they had no choice.

14 Aug 2017 03:26:28
Of course they will add some quality. We are thin with pc, once he goes I'm pretty confident they will sign someone decent. I don't really think money has been the issue.

14 Aug 2017 04:02:10
Why do you think Liverpool tap up players? They are trying to get the player to kick up a fuss and make it easier for him to be sold, and sold cheaper than what his club might want to sell him for. Just blaming Klopp for this doesn't deal with the issue, we have done it for years, and FSG and the people they employ need to make it more professional for it to be a thing of the past.

14 Aug 2017 08:59:03
I think we should stop bashing Klopp quite so much. Don't get me wrong, from what the Ed's have said he went about trying to get players in totally the wrong way, but. he did what he did because he is really passionate about getting some good players in to improve us, and improve our defence - I don't think we can blame his passion, just his approach!

As for the Couts thing, the interview he gave after the game suggests to me he really isn't happy with the club overruling him saying he isn't for sale - so again Klopp has the hump because (like the fans) we are fed up of having to sell our best players when trying to build a team that can challenge for the title. If Klopp goes, I think FSG are to blame for running Liverpool as a profit on players business not a profit from winning things club!

{Ed001's Note - FSG did not overrule Klopp.}

14 Aug 2017 11:30:06
How did the 'club' overrule Klopp? By issuing a statement saying Couts won't be sold? It was Couts who responded to that by immediately handing in a transfer request. And why do people keep coming out with this rubbish about FSG only being interested in profit? They are willing to turn down huge money for Couts AND spend big on the players Klopp wants. You talk nonsense, Kd.

14 Aug 2017 11:32:58
Thanks for clarifying Ed (and for all the work you do mate) so am I just wearing Liverpool tinted glasses thinking Klopp is trying to do the right things but in the wrong way, or is he really getting it that wrong?

Can't help feel our defence isn't right because Klopp didn't expect to be playing those players, with the ones he ballsed up getting in, and some of the problems we now have would have been sorted by the incomings he wanted? Liverpool really are the most amazing and at the same time frustrating team to support!

{Ed002's Note - He has really fouled things up. This has been covered over and over.}

14 Aug 2017 14:26:46
Phil is spot on. Turning down 50 mil (2yrs ago) for sterling would've been mad. And torres only had one knee.
