ssn reporting that Liverpool have agreed a fee for Sergio Romero and they are discussing personal terms with his agent. Both parties are keen on the move but Romero wage demands are seemingly the only problem at the moment.

Good international class keeper that will allow good competition for Mignolet but just feel Liverpool are going for a cheap option rather than a goalkeeper that could give Mignolet real competition and take his place?

Maybe that's not what we need, who am I to say anyway.

I would like to congratulate BR and the coaching team over the past few weeks. The performances have been a lot better in recent matches and more importantly the defence is better and more clean sheets. With Sturridge back things are looking very positive. I have read a lot of negatives for Brendan and his coaching team and the possibility of him leaving at the end of the season which to me is ludicrous. Congratulations BR, onwards and upwards. #InBrendanWeTrust

Think that was the perfect draw for Liverpool. It gives as good an opportunity as was possible to go through but we also get the big game of Real Madrid. Really looking forward to the Tuesday/Wednesday nights.

The way I see it with these eto rumours are they Rodgers still wants Bony as first choice but he will be expensive and it looks like Borini may stay so the owners do not want to spend £19m on a striker when we have Sturridge, Borini, Lambert, and Origi next year. Therefore to get a striker on a one year (Eto) before Origi returns is there plan. I can't see Rodgers being very happy about this. Also he has Champions League experience that few in our squad do.

I personally would prefer Bony and trust Macca. I would like to see us have Sturridge, Bony, Lambert and Borini and almost do a play off between the last 2 so whoever performs better will stay the following season and the other leaves and is replaced by Origi. That would be good for competition whereas Eto would know he is leaving after 1 year and would want huge wages.

Anyway let's sit back and pray that Rodgers gets the final say and Bony will arrive!

If these £16m + Suso rumours are correct then I for one would wish Suso the best of luck and hope he becomes the fantastic player he was expected to be. Of course i'm disappointed he might leave just to push through a deal but if we are honest, he won't be getting much game time this season and is made perfectly for La Liga. Therefore putting Liverpool aside for a few seconds, it might be best if he goes to Seville in the Europa League and becomes a star there and then maybe (as he loves Liverpool) he will return to Anfield one day.

In a Liverpool point of view, if Texeira becomes the player we expect him to be, then we may not need both of them anyway and Texeira has similar or better potential so it would be good giving him those irregular opportunaties and hope he grows from that experience.

In Brendan we trust!

Completely agree, both parties have made errors but now Sterling is going on and this is changing a lot of peoples opinion of him!! I just hope Manchester City don't look at his attitude and decide they don't need that type of player in the dressing room!!
