Eds. Do you know if have we looked at, and still hold interest in buying a centre forward to play along side or cover firmino? ie the likes of Son or Werner? or are Ings and Solanke going to be our choices again next season? Or are we Just looking at a winger type player to cover Mané and Salah?
{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Liverpool looking to add a CF but if Ings or Solanke were to leave then perhaps additional cover would be looked for.}

My understanding is Fekir and Salah would provide attional support up top, providing we sign Fekir that is.

If one of the above goes like Ed said then I believe we would need more cover for the front 3. Werner would be a fantastic signing. Not sure on his mentality but he has a lot of potential if managed correctly.

Don't need another striker. We have Origi, Ings, Solanke, Brewster. Now i know all will not stay but i really cannot see Klopp discarding all of the above plus Sturridge in one window. Solanke might get a loan but I still think he will be Firmino's back up next season.

Agree with IB. We have Mane, Firmino, Salah and Solanke who will most likely stay. IF we signed Fekir and this Moses Simon guy, then I'd assume that will be it in the forward department.

We won't sign a recognized top quality CF. Who would want to come and bench warm, similar problem to spurs. Kane is there man and nobody else would get a look in. Bobby is ours. Origi might stay if solanke/ ings depart.

Eds. With PSG requiring to raise 50m from player sales before end of June, to adhere to FFP rules. Have we looked at any of their players? Obviously Draxler you have mentioned before. What about Guedes? at 21 he has some great qualities. Ball carrying. Riding Challenges. Very quick acceleration. Decent shot. I thiñk Klopp could make him a superstar! What's your opinion?

As much as I love these pages, I do think that ed002 is often very terse. I understand that patience can be tested with some of the questions, but this one concerning Guedes - who is not really mentioned anywhere else - is viable and I'm not sure deserves the kind of response you've given.

If they don’t hit the FFP deadline they’ll probably get a fine looking at other teams. PSG can afford those. They won’t be railroaded into selling off cheap or players they want to keep. RTP on Draxler. Ed002 has given information, absorb it.

I value the input highly and I wasn't trying to be negative. My point is, that despite there being people who don't read or search for things before asking, the clipped responses are not constructive. Ed002 has excellent input, knowledge and respectability, but being talked to like that is going to put people off in my opinion.
The original post did have a question that was relevant to Liverpool. The poster wouldn't have posted here if it didn't, so it was hardly embarrassing or rubbish.

Thing is it’s like it’s entitlement. Just cause a question is asked here doesn’t mean it has to be answered or answer has be in depth or lengthy. I believe the EDs do this site for free or at least not a lot and have to deal with a sea of abusive morons. They still continue to help here with info.
I don’t always get the response I’d hope sometimes no response but it just doesn’t phase me. Just wish people, general no one in particular, stay polite and respectful.

The problem with the question is as follows. We are not interested in Guedes nor have we been at any point during this window. A simple search of the players name will show you that. The only player we are potentially interested in from PSG is Draxler, which has been covered numerous times. While I agree Guedes is a good player, you’re literally just picking a random player with no link to Liverpool. I also rate Verratti? Is that relevant to liverpool’s transfer window because PSG need to raise money? Absolutely not. Hence why Ed002 keeps suggesting that people ask about their random players on the European pages. Its unhelpful and frustrating.

Seems some doubt about Alisson or Butland. but hope you’re right. Can see Fekir happening though and frankly speaking that would already be a decent window for us as fills most of the notably problem areas.
Alisson at GK, Fabinho to add some cover for Hendo and TAA and give us flexibility tactically, Keita to add carrying ability and danger from midfield, Fekir to replace Coutinho and add creativity and goals from attacking mid, but also able to cover wings if required.

I've been discussing this topic for years with fellow Reds. The major difference between Liverpool and Premier league winning teams is a world Class Keeper. My advice to Edwards is to target who we want and pay what's needed to be paid. We want a world Class keeper. 2nd 3rd or 4th place is not good enough anymore! Keep Ward as 2nd Keeper and go get us Alisson Becker or Jan Oblak!

Right now there are 4 players in the Liverpool team that I wouldn't swap for anyone else in the world of football. Robertson is one of them. Firmino Salah and Van Dijk being the other 3. That's how much I personally rate the guy! Our recent Transfers have been superb. Long may it continue!
