Hi Eds
I read we have been watching eduardo camavinga. He looks a serious talent. Any truth in this? Thanks.

DW-YNWA

{Ed002's Note - There is no chance of him joining Liverpool. His future is already mapped out.}

1.) 02 Sep 2020 14:30:49
Pretty sure he's headed to Real Madrid in 2021 along with Mbappe.

2.) 02 Sep 2020 14:35:51
Thanks Ed
Where will his future be?

{Ed002's Note - Eventully in Madrid.}

Quick question regarding tickets,
I get my tickets from a supporters club and only get 2 games a season. I was at the game last weekend and got talking to a fella on the boat. He says he only got his ticket that morning on the liverpool website and there was loads on there. Anytime I ever check the website I can never see them. Can anyone help or was he talking nonsense? Thanks.

1.) 26 Nov 2021 16:03:10
He’s telling the truth mate. Never been easier to get tickets.

2.) 26 Nov 2021 16:41:56
You need to have a paid membership and try in the additional sales which are generally the week of the game, which may not suit if you have to organise travel. They're was a ballot for all the second half of the season but its closed now.

3.) 26 Nov 2021 19:07:23
Where on the site?

4.) 27 Nov 2021 00:53:23
You log into your membership account, which you have to have to buy tickets.

Referees should be interviewed after every game, same way the manager's get interviewed. I would love to know what Chris kavanagh seen in the one second he was at the monitor.

DW-YNWA

{Ed0666's Note - he probably thought he was going to watch a clip of Love Island but then the monitor showed TAA, Calvert Lewis and Becker and he thought hang on this ain’t love island and ran back on to the pitch. There you go mystery solved.

1.) 21 Feb 2021 05:41:16
0666, you been drinking from 025’s glass again?

{Ed0666's Note - like Eds 025 would share his drink? It was a diabolical decision and these morons are making mistake after mistake every week and the irony is they have VAR supposedly to make their job easier.

2.) 21 Feb 2021 07:15:14
Referees shouldn’t be interviewed. It might give some of them a bigger ego than they have already - we don’t need Mike dean to have any bigger opinion of himself. The self preservation society would go into overdrive.

They do though need to be mic’d up like they are in rugby.

That way it’s open and transparent for the world to see what they are doing and there is no hiding place from their dreadful decisions.

Which is precisely why that won’t happen.

3.) 21 Feb 2021 08:22:42
OP, I read somewhere that sometimes when the ref goes to the monitor, they do it for show and that it does not matter cos the decision won’t b changed. I never believed that cos I thought it was such a childish thing to do. Well, I stand corrected.

The ref ran to the monitor, took a second to look at it and ran back. What did he see during that one second? Well, nothing cos it was all a show so they can say, “Well the ref checked it”. He didn’t.

As for refs being mic’d up, are you people serious? You want that whole episode vs Spurs at Anfield to repeat itself where nobody the refs were heard not having a clue about what happened yet they gave the pen to Spurs anyway? Ain’t going to happen esp not from the ref association who have as much transparency as the Kremlin.

4.) 21 Feb 2021 09:03:53
Olired, I'll chip in for some novachok if you do?

5.) 21 Feb 2021 09:07:07
The ref barely looked at the monitor, he'd made his mind up and was not changing it. He was never in doubt, which he should be if VAR ask him to review the incident.

the V. A. R should firstly not be controlled by other referees themselves (especially not the dross referees we've seen in the prem)

The VAR should also be able to tell a referee, "Look, you have made a mistake, its not a penalty"

But what do we do. the game is ran by Cretins from top to bottom.

{Ed001's Note - Arsene Wenger, whose role with FIFA involves overseeing things like VAR, has said that VAR should be placed into the hands of specialist operators, rather than match officials. So, fingers crossed, we should see that change made soon.}

Ed01, I truly hope so cos I still believe in VAR. We know it works cos we have seen it work in other leagues, EL and CL as well as the last WC in Russia. It is the PL that is ruining this for the rest of us.

7.) 21 Feb 2021 10:45:18
Darren Bent, the on and only, on sky this morning, saying that it was a pen. If TAA hadnt lifted his leg at the end it wouldn't have been given! Totally ignoring the fact that C. L. was already going down, so much he kneed TAA in the head! Moron.

{Ed001's Note - if that was correct, which it clearly isn't, Trent would have been sent off.}

Great point ed01. i just can't belive some of the nonsense the likes of Bent say. Average player, crap pundit!

{Ed001's Note - is there such a thing as a good pundit?}

For me there's always been a drop off in performances when are first 11 don't play. Are players have been so used to playing in the same system with the same players. Even with 10 of the first 11 fit any games we played without trent or Robbo was very noticeable. I'd like to see fabinho back into midfield so we can get back to as close to normal as possible.

We have a large squad but not good enough squad. Our backups are not god enough to take us through. We also have to come against “he is not coming to sit on the bench” syndrome. It doesn’t help building a proper squad.

24 Oct 2020 16:56:14
Why are these ppv games getting so much stick? These are game not selected for tv, so basically 3oclock kick offs but now you at least have the option to watch or not.

DW-YNWA

{Ed002's Note - Because of the costs involved.}

1.) 24 Oct 2020 17:04:16
I’m not paying it. Enough is enough!

2.) 24 Oct 2020 17:12:57
I’ve heard the quality is biz also. Says HD but it’s not.

3.) 24 Oct 2020 17:14:07
No one is been asked to pay! If u don’t want to watch don’t pay simple!

4.) 24 Oct 2020 17:26:28
And that’s what I intend to do Jay.

5.) 24 Oct 2020 17:37:32
I think it feels like they are milking the fans.

PPV doesn't sound great but its the clubs that asked for it. Personally I would of put a bolt on to the subscriptions I. e. a tenner a month for the extra games and don't think many would complain.

But 15 quid per match feels a bit much when most are struggling at the minute.

6.) 24 Oct 2020 18:27:12
The other option (not everyone is able I know. Sorry! ) is send the £15 in the pub and watch it 👌🏻.

7.) 24 Oct 2020 18:31:06
Ed understand if you don’t want to get into the costing but how come it’s possible for outside of the UK to show all games but not inside? Is it simply costs are much higher because of how much sky and bt pay out to the premier league?

{Ed002's Note - Because the clubs are paid huge amounts of money to show the games. That is where the club get much of their income from.}

8.) 24 Oct 2020 18:37:45
I can't go to the pub but that's something I'd not considered which one of the eds may be able to clear up.

Sky packages are silly expensive for pubs, can they access these games for £15 or do they have to pay a premium?

{Ed002's Note - No, it costs them whatever a commercial license is.}

9.) 24 Oct 2020 18:49:22
Speaking of tonight’s game. Rumour mill is Allison is in the squad. Surely if he’s fit for the squad then he would be starting.

10.) 24 Oct 2020 23:43:56
I see liverpools fans raised just under 100k tonight for local food banks, dontated instead of paying for the ppv game, abs brilliant hopefully anyone who can afford to will continue to do so.

{Ed0666's Note - A hearty well done to all that donated. Just shows the power of a silent protest.

13 Sep 2020 22:18:19
Ed I would like your opinion on something. Recently I've read a lot about the system we play and particularly the role bobby plays. Also that brewster doesn't fit into this system. Bobby creates the space for mo and mane but watching yesterday's game leeds played so open the space was already there. So in games like this surley brewster could play? Against teams like Burnley or Palace Bobby is so important but like yesterday's game it would be good to have a different option.

DW-YNWA

{Ed001's Note - and so you want Brewster to be using that space rather than Mane and Salah then?}

1.) 14 Sep 2020 06:52:29
No I'm saying bobby wasn't the one creating space. The way leeds played there was so much space that even bobby was running in behind.

2.) 14 Sep 2020 08:55:25
DW-YNWA, and how do you think those gaps opened in the Leeds setup without the movement and link up play of the front three which created space, a front three that includes you guessed it, Bobbie? Not sure what you are on about here, bro?

3.) 14 Sep 2020 09:24:19
Red meister sorry for having a different opinion than you. I'm just saying that bobby wasn't the one creating space by dropping deep like he usually does. He was often the player highest up the pitch and getting on the end of chances imo. I only asked because bobby can't play every minute of ever game so I wondered if brewster could be used in games that are more open?

4.) 14 Sep 2020 08:24:06
Am i guessing Brewster isn't a very intelligent player then? He can't learn the role, , Firmino has been off the boil for ages so we need someone to pressure him, i think he needs some bench time to realize he has competition to be in the team, also Thiago would fit in comfortably, i don't get where the idea he can't press is coming from, he does for Spain and Bayern, are we saying an Alonso wouldn't fit in this team too, they have similar passing/ player ability and from our games since lockdown we have lacked massively someone of that ability in midfield. I think it was a mistake we didn't get Werner and it will be just as big a mistake not to get Thiago (obviously i know we can't afford them at present without the shifting around)

5.) 14 Sep 2020 10:21:54
Lancaster Red

You have a point regarding Bobby. But this system is built for him and around him. so replacing him is a mammoth task unless we change the dynamics of how we play. Klopp sold Ings who Imo is a tailor-made 20 goals per season striker for any team to keep the system intact.
The idea scenario is when Bobby needs a benching then one of Salah / Mane goes up top and we actually sign a WINGER to play across the front three.
Thiago has no relevance to bobby as people make out to be here. him coming into midfield actually restricts Bobby's involvement in the game.

6.) 14 Sep 2020 12:25:58
Tyrion
I think Bobby might need to convert into a midfielder, his goals record is poor, if we had a natural finisher we would be scoring more, my point with Brewster is its not difficult to learn to come a little deeper to create space, we have tweaked tactics each season under Klopp and the midfield need to step up this season for me, Wijnaldum doesn't score or assist enough, he missed 2 good chances, the full backs will get targeted this year, Trent was poor v Leeds so we need someone or 2 to bring more from the centre.

7.) 14 Sep 2020 18:31:00
DW-YNWA, you are free to post whatever you like and no one is stopping you. All I did was ask you a question so no need to be all passive aggressive, mate.

In response to your point, Bobbie's job is to facilitate Salah and Mane by creating space for them to run into and press from the front to help us win the ball back high up the pitch. That does not restrict him from getting on the end of things if the occasion presents itself. He did both vs Leeds if you watch closely BUT things just did not come off for him due to rustiness or lack of confidence which leads to poor decision making, IMO.

Now Brewster is a diff. type of forward who I don't think can fulfill that role for us right now. This system was built for and around Bobbie and it has worked for 3/ 4 years now. Can Brewster learn the role? I don't know and we will have to see what happens if he will even be here to do any of that to begin with.

8.) 14 Sep 2020 20:03:05
Red meister you keep posting under people's post's trying to belittle them. Saying things like "if you watch closely" what makes you think I didn't watch closely just because we have a difference of opinion. Everyone sees thing differently.

Bobby is one of my favourite players so I'd never bash him for missing a few chances. But I don't see why his role in the team is important here when were talking about missed chances. If them chances had fell to gomez I'd like him to at least him the target so I expect the same from Bobby.

I really couldn't fault bobby for his build up play and how much he does for the team. He's one of are most important players but most of are chances from open play fell to him and he's got to be doing better with those chances. It looks like he's lost his confidence in front of goal.
