Hi Eds
Do you know if Dr Steve Peters is going to continue to be available to support the Liverpool players this season?
He's likely to be more sought after than most players this transfer window :o)
cheers

{Ed002's Note - As far as I know he is still contracted to the club.}

Hi Eds, hi one and all
Been following the site for a couple of years and love the banter. Great work. It's my first post. so be gentle.
I should have joined ages ago, but didn't want to change any of my "routine" this season in case it jinxed the season run-in but now it's over I wanted to contribute with a few random thoughts:
1. loved the thrill of being in the title hunt, and the enjoyment the boys have given has far outweighed the disappointment of not finishing top. They have been fantastic.
2. I believe that your finishing place in the table is down to EVERY single result/scoreline and is not determined by sound-bytes or incidents that can selectively be pulled out as reasons for not winning. There are many occasions where we have either thrown a couple of points away or been given an unexpected lifeline due to an opponent (or one of our guys) making a rash decision or chalenge. So it all goes into the melting pot and best not to dwell on any negative memories but work out how to try and avoid them in the future or indeed expolot them in the opposition :o)
3. The whole squad has contributed and I can't remember seeing a better team spirit in recent years. Great effort by Brendan, all the backroom staff and the players themselves
4. Can't wait for the CL next season. I do hope we manage a little bit of a blend of defensive solidity mixed with the fantastic attacking we have shown this year.
5. I prey and prey and prey again that we don't pick up any injuries while the boys are away on England duty. August can't come round quick enough - unless the desperation is delayed slightly by Gerrard lifting the World Cup!

Correct, Canos started, but had a bit of a shocker. Which I think was more of a blip as the pundits had stated he's been playing well in previous matches. Against Burnley, he was caught out of position on a few occasions, showed some poor control of the ball, and poor passing. Shame really as I only watched the match to see how is is getting on. To be fair tho, as stated, Burnley were top notch.

Brilliant Zeddicus, ROTM, SGR and Banjo. Good to have some chuckles after a crap day at the office.

Apparently he's a really good guy and all the ladies adore him. you could say he's a Bird's Angel De Ligt!
Immediate apologies to anyone offended :o)
I'll get me coat!

Seriously? There is no god given right for any team just to expect to be granted a finishing position in the league. We will have to work harder and be just as fortunate to be in any kind of race. It's not about us choosing 3rd, 4th, 5th. the team have to earn the right to reduce the options so that others are fighting for those places. Do I think we can challenge next year? YES. Do I think it's a given we will? NO, Let's go game by game. YNWA.

So many good gins out there now. My recommendations for those that prefer less sweet/ fruity gin are Lone Wolf (especially the Gunpowder edition) and Poetic License Northern Dry. Is it Gin O'Clock yet? Fingers crossed for a fab performance this weekend from the boys and let's hope Palace can do us a favour.

I won't take your dislike of Ray/ Spurs personally, WW. Aside from Gerrard (and possibly a few others) they all move off to other clubs eventually. But Ray was top class as a keeper and as a person. Go on, make an exception, put him in ;o)
