Hello chaps and chappettes, only asking for your opinions as I know no one knows for sure. Do ya’s think mane will be allowed go away with his national team after being called up and does this mean he mightn’t be out for as long as first thought.

I probably should know this but in the pictures I’ve seen of the chelsea game v Burnley they had the gold world club champions badge on their jersey. When we won it we weren’t allowed to have it on our jerseys in pl games. Were the rules changed and I didn’t hear it. Obviously not very important but was just wondering about it.

RL, Henderson and Milner aren’t world class. We know how good they both are but other teams wouldn’t be wishing they had them over others in their positions. Hendo is a thousand times better than non lfc supporters give/ gave him credit for and Milner is a top professional and a top top worker but neither are world class. Having said that, I wouldn’t want anyone else.

Take it in context. For the Klopp system of "football", Henderson and Milner are perfect. They know their roles and responsibilities with their eyes closed. Do you necessarily need "World class" if you have players who know your team system inside out and can execute the team's technical and tactical objectives perfectly?

In addition to that ArAy1969, not all of these so called " world class players better than Hendo and Milner" can play in our system of fulfill everything that Klopp demands from them. And trust me, Klopp demands a LOT from them in terms of energy, committment, pressing and covering gaps left in midfield and defence, as well as get forward to support the attack.

Kepa isn’t in the same stratospheric as Allison never mind in the same league. Thought Chelsea defended brilliantly but didn’t think kepa was great.

I wouldn’t say a bargain, we got what we payed for, more a case of Chelsea’s car crash transfer policy resulting in a panic buy. He may still turn out to be good but for the money they paid i’d be wanting a De Gea, Neuer or Oblak, not some kid nobody had ever heard of.

He's one of the best shot stoppers out there and still very young. I think Alisson is the better keeper but Kepa will be still be very good.

There are plenty if players with an excellent reputation but they aren’t the most expensive in their position in world football. Like i say i’m sure he has talent, i’m just not sure spending that amount of money on somebody so young and unproven was very wise. But hey it worked with Buffon i guess, what do i know!

Ed025. who's the expensive dud then, Grucic was only 5 mil. So dud yes expensive not really. Klaven did the job he was bought to do. Unless your thinking of one from this season, Fabinho got off to a slow start but is settling nicer now, but Naby is concerning me with some very abject displays, but we know there is a great player in there if not consistent yet.
{Ed025's Note - grugic and klavan only cost buttons so i wont include them, naby is a quality player mart and im a big fan of his work he will come good im sure, fab i seen quite a bit of at monaco and was not a fan then and nothing he has done this season has changed that, but its only my opinion of course mate..

Lads, everyone here is great in hindsight. It's easy to say that texiera is worth the money, but like Big Ben and super Mario, he could turn out to be a waste of money. How are the people who are championing him so sure he is so good. YouTube would be my guess and they really show a balanced picture and not just the players outstanding moments. I remember some, but not as many as there are now, saying benteke was wrong for us while some (I can't remember the names) thought he was an excellent option for a plan b for us. I wonder if any of these same people are proclaiming texiera to be all the answers to all of our prayers. I can't give an educated opinion on him as all I know about him is from the same famous YouTube. I know that just because he is Brazilian and has a brilliant conversion rate in a league not up to the BPL standard does not mean he is worth breaking the bank and FFP rules over. I'm not saying that I wouldn't like him to join but unlike Suarez, messi etc. but I can't just say "pay the asking price as he's defenitely worth it" Anyhow it's easy to ramble off all these figures-£38M etc. when it's not our own money. I have to have a think before I spend €100 never mind £38M. Hindsight is 20/ 20 vision.

Decodeko I was over with my wife and daughter last weekend at the Norwich game. They were out shopping on Sunday and I went to O’Neills to watch the utd game. That evening we went to an Italian restaurant between O’Neills and concert square, villa romana is its name. All I can say is “unrealâ€. I’ve been over 30/ 40 times before with the lads and the poshest I’ve been to before that was the lobster pot. Maybe it was just me but I’ll definitely be back to it.

It wasn’t a penalty full stop. Have we had terrible var decisions go against us? - Definitely. Does that change that this decision was softer than the softest soft stuff ever created? - No. But on motd for Richard’s to say it was the worst decision he’s seen all year was total bs, to name just 1 the penalty Man City got for hand ball v wolves was easily a worse call. Also for jenas to say that kane didn’t foul silva (“it was only a little pushâ€) but Liverpool definitely shouldn’t have been given that penalty either raises serious questions about his analysis and non bias. But that doesn’t change the fact that it was never ever a penalty. If it’s given against us we’re all calling foul play and going ballistic about the injustice that was done to us. I’d focus more on thanking god that we scraped through and for the fact that Allison saved us on so many occasions.

What a clown. One loss and the white flag is out. It’s going to be very very very difficult I know but talk about being a spoiled child, lose a game and “the league is goneâ€. I don’t think that we’re going to win it but it’s a bad result in the middle of a load of good ones. Take the little bit of rough with the whole lot of smooth.
