Let's hope not. We will probably get thrashed the way Dortmund is playing.

Hopefully in The Europa league final.

Haven't posted for a while. Would just like to say the following:
1. We have a great manager. Klopp is something special and I have not felt this enthusiasm since Dalglish and Paisley tool over in 85-85. This guy is the most passionate man I have seen in football in my lifetime. May sound like i am going over the top, but can anyone really suggest anyone else?
2. Great result today, really good to see players knocking it about with confidence when a couple of months ago they looked lost.
3. We need to massively keep behind our team. I take Klopp's point after the Palace game in that he felt lost. The atmosphere at Dortmund is unbelievable. King Kenny mentioned that the result of all seater stadia is pricing out people to attend games and he's right. Football has become money mad and a greedy sport. We need to shout the loudest and get behind our great club, I genuinely believe we are now going places

rant over.

Ed001, now you've sparked intrigue about who Ed002 is ?
Some clues, American, over 50, male / female.
Is is Kaitlyn / Bruce Jenner ?

{Ed001's Note - if I knew who that was I might be able to give a better answer. Sorry but it is not them.}

It is the owners fault when they allow a lunatic to waste hundreds of millions of pounds:
Leeds Utd
Barings Bank (although the owners did not consent)

I don't blame the manager as he is probably doing all that he is capable of. He is simply not experienced enough and does not possess the quality needed at this level. He buys the players that reflect his managerial capability.
If you are owners or a board etc you need a damn good CEO to run things and in football they also make sure the managerial appointment is the right one.
The one big mistake was poor judgement in the appointment and then failure to act on the poor form.

People requesting more signings. When will people understand that BR should not be allowed to sign anyone else. From what I have seen this season it is going to be a bit of a roller coaster. We lack quality in all areas. No point signing another centre back when he has already brought in a number that are not good enough. We are going to struggle this season as BR has a fundamental misunderstanding that he does not recognise the importance of the centre of midfield - his style of play and the players he has brought in (or lack of it) shows this. He thinks having loads of attacking midfielders will win games.
The writing is on the wall for him, no point in signing anyone else. FSG has shown faith (misplaced) in him so let's just accept we are going to have a rocky 6 months before any chance of him being let go.
What I cannot understand from FSG is why they did not break the bank to bring in a top class manager rather than let a completely unproven clown waste hundreds of millions of pounds on poor players that get loaned out the year after they are signed. It shows that the whole structure of the club is poor. FSG came in and got the club for a very good price. It is unlikely they will exit before the stadium is renovated. I for one think they are very misguided and wish they restructure the club boardroom and manager wise this season. Losing top class players (Suarex, Sterling, Gerrard) and replacing them with second rate players that have cost lots of cash shows something is seriously wrong with the club.
My biggest concern is that the club do not become broke and we end up as another Leeds.

Agreed but do not give SG too much criticism. Look at it from his point of view, LFC were awful in the first half and he was just itching to get on and have some influence and made a very rash decision. BR's tactics were all wrong and he should have changed the midfield for this game as we were overrun from the start with a glaring hole in the centre of midfield.
People have been posting of late just how good Allen is and that he's the man to play in the middle. The player is just not good enough and should be judged on his term at the club, not 3 or 4 games. He looked a boy amongst men today and the distribution is not good enough, it is always the same either in Europe or against a good team playing well. BR's faith in him is compromising the team. Gerrard and Lucas should have come in for Allen and Lallana as a change from the Swansea game, we would have seen a completely different game. My heart sank when I saw the starting lineup.
Moreno, Lallana, Allen, Mignolet (Markovic, Ballotelli, Lovren) are all letting the side down badly and ultimately BR is responsible for these signings and is too stubborn to drop some of them. It will be very hard for us to finish in the top 4, this will be very damaging now as we will struggle to keep certain players. We'll obviously wait till the end of the season, but I cannot believe that the owners are happy. I want the team to do well and finish in the top 4, I appreciate that Rogers will deserve to stay if he achieves that but I think it now very unlikely. Conversely, I am not looking forward to another overhaul in the Summer (management and players) followed by another inconsistent season.
Very disappointed, also going to be very sad to see SG leave the club
