The issue is not just the defence, it's the midfield.
We need some pace and some brains.

The trouble was that we played with a midfield without much creativity today.

This is why I've said drop firminho back into midfield at least he can perform similar to coutinho and gives us creativity.

Then with coutinho money buy a proper striker who firminho can feed.

Still playing players out of position is a joke, then our new LB can't even make the squad.

Bingo we did have some chances today but I'd have thought Watford where happy with the lack of pressure that they where put under today.
