Hi Ed's, do you think that Liverpool could turn to Nabil Fekir again in January?
He looks like he could be the creative spark we need in the midfield? If you look at city they have 2 quality players in each position just about, this is the sort of strength we need to compete

{Ed002's Note - This has been answered on many occasions but given the club did not want to pay the asking price for Nabil Fekir it seems very unlikely they would look to now pay more for him. All interest has gone as far as I know.}

We have three players that can fill that role, one is out for the season wirh injury and two are new signings who are learning the ropes. What good would adding another player into the mix do?

AW. ox yes I take your point, but neither keita or Fabinho are similar to fekir/ Coutinho replacement a proper attacking midfielder. Lallana is always injured and should be sold.

Hi Ed's, assuming Ward leaves for Leicester, and I doubt mingolet will hang around as 3rd choice, are there any older experienced goalkeepers we are looking at to come in as 3rd choice.

Happy enough to have Karius, Grabara and Kelleher for the bench. If we do sign someone it should be for free or very cheap. Boaz Myhill is out of contract, although he might actually want to play football.

I hope not. 2 older leaders that give everything. Mad how everyone has forgot just how good lallana was before his injury. His pressing and bagged plenty of goals. More from midfield wouldn't hurt. Think can is the highest withe something like 8.

Klopp Mania aigh I was talking in general. Have seen it on here quite a bit. Milner will probably be used less and less so I could see him leaving but if lallana can get to the levels he was at last year he'd be one of the 1st players on the teamsheet. Lallana and keita pressing slightly further forward in the middle in front of a deep lying midfield would be very hard to deal with for any team.

Lallana want's out, I think he'll be sold in the summer, if not we're just keeping a player who doesn't want to be here, no point to it. He's a decent player on his day but I think his time is up with us. We want players at Liverpool to be happy, it creates a great atmosphere, look at the majority of the lads we have at the moment, all loving their time at Liverpool, he isn't part of that.

Eds have reported that lallana and milner will want moves elsewhere if they become utility / rotational players which certainly would be the case for milner and is possible for lallana.

Be a massive signing if we could pull off oblak, but is that realistic?
{Ed002's Note - Liverpool has not made any approach for Oblak. Another English side have spoken with Atletico but they will not want to sell. Trapp's time in Paris has not gone well and he is available now if PSG can add a replacement - but it would have to be a loan to buy (not a loan with an option to buy) or a straight sale. Liverpool has four registered PL goalkeepers so adding him now would be unlikely - and another English side have already held taks. Kika Casilla is another option with Navas moving in the summer as well.}

Does any of the ed's know, what is the plan for Sturridge?
In the summer I'd be inclined to let him origi and Solanke go and bring in Werner to rotate with bobby, and Brewster coming into the fold a bit more.

After losing his form, confidence and added recent abuse from fans, does it look likely karius will leave us? This would mean having to bring in another 2 keepers one as backup and one 3rd choice/ older option. Could be a busy last few weeks . At least we have a fantastic no1 now.

Mignolet would be our number 2 and someone like Pepe Reina would be a great number 3. Although personally I think Karius would have been an excellent back up to Alisson as what doesn't break him will make him stronger, but I guess he's been forced out the club by "supporters".

I think we're all expecting some movement but as it stands we have 3 senior gks at the club. Maybe migs will stay. I expect karius to stay or else why would Klopp be playing him in these friendlies? He's the strongest keeper we have in the states but I think, no, I almost said play migs for the city utd games.

Oh my mistake, but I still think Karius would be a great back up because I think he will grow stronger from these bad experiences and if he was to spend extra hours on the training pitch I think the 2 combined would see him become a top keeper. I know that sounds overly optimistic and that he probably wants to leave now anyway, which I don't blame him for.

Im far from disrespecting an ex player. He was just simply wasnt anywhere near the level of the number 1. How do you expect us to have more than 1 top quality goalkeeper if alisson is that good im sure he doesn't want someone pushing to start his games. Why should we pay another goalkeeper upwards on 100 grand a week to play in the league cup and fa cup. I get your thinking that we should have back up as you never know what may happen but we don't have the money to be having 20 midfielders and attackers and back up goalkeepers earning big money. I would much prefer to have a young goalkeeper come through the ranks as a back up and play him in the so called lesser competitions and you never know might be onto a gem.

Mate karius will never accept to be backup . He was persuaded by our manager as N01 and was open to voice his frustration when he was dropped for mignolet.
Now after Alisson purchase he sounds bitter and isn't shy having digs at our manager. Think would be better for him to go to different league out of spotlight where he can peacefully start building his confidence and again starts enjoying this beautiful game.

Seosamh1990, your post about Brad Jones is a disgrace, full stop. Clearly, you know nothing about the things he went thru in his life while playing for us and heaven knows how that affected his play. The guy played for us with courage and dignity. Never complained, never whined about anything unlike some other GK's I can name who played for us earlier.
Whether he was good enuff or not is IRRELEVANT to any fan with a dose of empathy running thru him or her. He played an FA Cup semi vs Everton that we won and also has a League Cup medal which is what he more than deserved. Did I also mention he wion the Dutch League with Feyenoord along with Dirk Kuyt a couple of years back? Again, that part of your post is a disgrace and you should be embarrassed.

I wouldn’t be against it, very pacey, wouldn’t nescesarily be demanding a starting berth and also would cost too much. Would be good impact winger/ cover for salah and mane and also run in the cups or lesser games.
