Ed01 is there no chance for markovic under klopp I've watched a few Hull games and he seems to be finally getting consistent games under his belt scored a few goals and looks the player he was at benfica fast direct great and a great touch be a shame if he didn't one more thing what's your opinion on Marco silva he looks like a very good manager doing wonders at Hull.

Kloppers

{Ed001's Note - Markovic didn't want to come back, as he knew he would struggle to get in the team with Mane ahead of him. It is unlikely he will want to now.

Silva is excellent, working wonders there. So impressed with him.}

1.) 22 Apr 2017 19:34:45
Hilarious how many ex-pros in the media wrote Silva off as A) he's not British and B) they'd never heard of him.

Such a shrewd appointment.

2.) 23 Apr 2017 04:48:51
Very well taken goal by Markovic against Watford after a brilliant counter attack by Hull. If we cannot get our hands on our preferred targets for the wide positions, rather give Markovic another shot than buy someone just for the sake of it. Could be a able backup to Mane.

3.) 23 Apr 2017 07:35:30
Agree Indian, buy to improve the side, but if we don't find someone then I'd be happy to see him given another shot.

Always felt he wasn't really given a proper chance under Rogers, seemed to be given very little time to adapt, then played out of position then dismissed far to quickly.

4.) 23 Apr 2017 08:05:24
Eds point is he doesn't want to be back up and on the periphery of things he wants and needs game time like he's getting at Hull. Much as I'd like to see him get a chance not sure it's the right move. How long is left on his contract? Would another loan be a good move even staying with Hull if they stay up for another season. The more time he gets in the premiership the more we can see what his potential might be. Ideally in a side that plays similar ish to us.

5.) 23 Apr 2017 09:04:19
His mind might change if we finish in the champions league spots 4 competitions to compete more games for everybody actual chance to play in his correct position for the club people do change there minds on occasions and I hope he does,

Anyway thanks for reply ed01.

{Ed001's Note - more games, but not more games for him than he is getting now....

You are very welcome Kloppers.}

Not to sure if you have covered this Ed001 but I was wondering if I could get your opinion on two players first one is Fabio Aurelio I always thought he was class fantastic left foot but always struggled with injuries one of the best LB we have had in the modern era, second player is Jerzy Dudek I was always wondering why he left after the champions league win and Pepe Reina was brought in was he forced out or did he want to leave? always be a hero In my eyes for that double save against Shevchenko and the penalty saves thanks in advance.

Kloppers

{Ed001's Note - I loved Aurelio, his problem was that he would get in the team, play crap for a few games, then he would have a worldy only to get injured the following game for 6 months. The guy couldn't even have a kickabout with his kids in the garden without suffering an injury that saw him miss half a season! He was made of tissue paper. Such a shame because he was awesome on his day.

Dudek was simply not seen as good enough and Reina was seen as better, plus Rafa wanted a Spanish spine to build around.}

1.) 14 Mar 2017 16:57:36
Technically the best left back in the last decade or so. He was bloody good. Excellent left foot and very good defensively. Aurelio minus injury is a gem.

2.) 15 Mar 2017 09:22:47
I don't remember much about Aurelio in open play, he never filled me with that much confidence tbh. But those set plays. the talent and the intelligence that he had were an unspeakably dangerous mix when he stood over a dead ball.

3.) 15 Mar 2017 11:39:39
Sadly Harry we never saw Aurelio without an injury - he'd have gone down as one of the best had he had more luck on the injury front.

Wesley Decas will be having a month long trial with Liverpool, Honduran left back had a great Concacaf u20.

Ed001 if you are free, I have seen a couple posts about ex players Alonso, Hamann etc. was wondering if you could give me an opinion on Luis Garcia don't worry if you already have! he was my favourite player growing up in the mid 2000s was fantastic to watch silky on the ball was he liked at the club? I feel he could offered a bit more if the club didn`t move him on or was that him wanting out? I wished we went for him earlier in his career could of been even better for us!

Kloppers

{Ed001's Note - I loved him as a person, but he was on the periphery of most games, never took control of them, which is what he should have done. Lovely skill, but just didn't impose himself enough. Great guy though, and a very big Liverpool fan now.}

1.) 03 Nov 2016 14:02:40
Thanks ed, if anybody hasn't seen he went a as a ghost with goal written on the front for a Halloween party was fantastic.

{Ed001's Note - the pics are on his Instagram.}

2.) 03 Nov 2016 14:39:20
He`s often on BEIN Sport footie panels with Christian Vieri and always talks LFC whenever our news come up. Great guy!

03 Nov 2016 09:48:13
Ed001 I know you can't predict the future but when klopp does leave (hopefully not do a while I might add) do you think pepjin lijnders will be lined up to take over? He seems to be doing very well in his position and working with the younger players would put him in a better position than others do you have an opinion on him do you rate him?

Kloppers

{Ed001's Note - it is a distinct possibility, it would certainly be a good way to continue with the same style of play. Pepjin very much favours the Klopp style of football as well.}

1.) 03 Nov 2016 09:57:09
I think that would be the best option, klopp builds the foundation wins things and continue it from within would probably help stabilise the club and defiantly help players not having to learn a new style! Thanks for answering have a good day!

2.) 03 Nov 2016 10:02:47
It'd certainly be a ggood option but Klopp will be with us for years I hope!

3.) 03 Nov 2016 10:27:47
I asked this a few months ago and 002 said they wouldn't be planning for it already.

{Ed001's Note - and no one is saying they are. What is your point?}

4.) 03 Nov 2016 12:54:21
No point just another point of view on the subject.

{Ed001's Note - ok got you.}

5.) 03 Nov 2016 14:29:12
Lost me.

6.) 03 Nov 2016 14:43:00
That wouldn`t be a bad idea to have Pep take over, as it seems everyone in the first team all the way down to the academy kids will be playing the same system. And don`t forget, Pep is Dutch, one of the palaces where gegen pressing was used as a tradition under Rinus Michels that culminated in the Total Football we know today so the guy knows the system inside out.

7.) 03 Nov 2016 19:56:53
Surely it would depend on the circumstances of Klopps departure.

8.) 04 Nov 2016 03:34:46
A return of the boot room staff. that's exactly what this club has been missing, seems like our soul had been taken away when the boot room was let go.

MK I understand this is partially to do with the owners how are you trying to spin this to take a jibe at the owners absolutely pathetic, if you read the story liverpool have refuted the claims we as a club did anything wrong while discussions were still ongoing, new rules were introduced stating clubs could no longer offer specific youngsters private education.

As a result Liverpool went to the Premier League to seek clarification and see if they could still take on Stoke’s commitment as part of the deal, They were told they couldn’t and with the boy not prepared to change schools, the transfer collapsed. The Reds will argue that while it’s an unfortunate situation, it was beyond their control.

The boy’s family claim as a result of the move to Liverpool falling through they have been left to cover the school fees and are in thousands of pounds of debt. He can’t play for another team until Stoke receive a compensation fee of around £50,000.

I'm sure not all information has been shared yet so we shall see if anything has been done wrong till then stop trying to blame the owners for no reason.

Martinez was a fail but I'm sure they moved him on rapidly and for a profit to China.

Thanks for the Insight Ed001,

there was a young lad that played with myself years ago all be it he was a couple years younger than myself David Moli and he was signed up by Liverpool he didn't make it at the time but currently plays in the lower leagues, his did used to work for Vauxhall in Luton and Liverpool arranged that his dad kept his job but moved factory's to the one just outside is that a regular thing Ed? clubs talking to other company's to accommodate players if they shine a little bit more than others?

I might getting the player wrong but I remember there was a lot of discussion years ago about it in my high school :)

Kloppers

{Ed001's Note - yes, it used to be very common, nowadays the family tend to not need to worry about jobs once a player has a professional contract.}

I think he means in general ed001 players leaving there home country so young and adapting without anyone, but then I always assumed when a young player from say Spain at the age of 16 moved to Liverpool surely clubs foresee this problem and bring there family over with them? or do they leave that to the family to decide what they want to do?

Kloppers

{Ed001's Note - well Manquillo only came here on loan initially, so he should not be in this discussion. Different clubs have different ways of dealing with it, but it has moved forward a lot from the days when a Spanish lad at Everton was taken to the snooker club and told it was law that he had to smoke while playing snooker. These days there are employees, player liaison officers/agents etc, to help them settle in and sort out problems. Sometimes clubs will bring their families over and provide them accommodation etc. It really depends on the case. Some clubs do not have the money to do so, or the inclination when the player is not seen as vitally important.}

I would love Sturridge to get back to full fitness he is England's best forward when fit. shame he has suffered so much but the injuries he has picked up do affect his game more than others explosive pace, when you pull a hammy or anything in your legs you lose trust in them and don't want to push it so much because you are worried it will break on you again he actually needs 4-5 months of pure playing without anything bothering him before he fully trusts he can sprint without anything going wrong Irishkopite absolutely pathetic post.
