I know the chilwell deal is dead for now but with Milner and klavan as back up to Moreno in the short term, do you think we may return in January for him? Whether he's signed a new deal or not it seems unlikely he'll be breaking into Leicester's first team any time soon due to Fuchs being likely to be ever present. Thanks.

just checking, yes Leicester finished way ahead of us last season, and they have a really good team spirit, how they cope with so many more games, will be interesting, but they don't seem to have as many problems as other teams, and they do buy well . we, Liverpool, have a lot of catching up to do . this is a big season, just hope we get back into Europe, top four might be just out of reach, but we can only hope .

Ed001 if you wouldn't mind, could I get your opinion on momo sissoko as a player? For whatever reason strangely he was my favourite as a kid and had him on the back of my shirt despite all the stars we had at the time. Gutted when he went to juve.
{Ed001's Note - I loved him, he was growing into a truly great midfielder until the horrible eye injury he suffered. He would have been absolutely perfect for our current system. He broke up play, could pass and worked his backside off. Such a shame he never got to achieve his true potential.}

We had the greatest midfield in the world. Xabi Alonso, Momo Sissoko, Gerrard and Mascherano.

It really was a smashing midfield and to think where some of the players we had ended up I wonder out of the current squad who could end up having a trophy laden career.

Only 1 half of football, but I honestly don't think I've ever been more annoyed at a commentator in my life. He literally chatted 45 minutes of parsley. Our performance didn't help tbf.

I don't know about you guys but I personally am very excited for the season ahead after what I believe have been some very good transfers in and out. The lack of a left back signing is disappointing for sure but you never know, maybe just maybe the pressure now put on Moreno with the club looking for a replacement and Milner being ahead of him (according to ed001) will help him finally start to try and learn from his mistakes.
He must surely know that if Liverpool force him out then he's not going to be moving to a better club. Maybe he'll get his act together. I'm hopeful but not expecting much improvement. Other than that I think we're ready to give this season a real good go and with klopp at the helm the motivation should be sky high. Absolutely buzzing for the gunners, YNWA.

What is the reason for clyne being unhappy? It seems strange considering him being first choice for the whole season. Were we trying to replace him? Did he expect European football this season? I'm curious.

I think the injury has taken a lot out of poor flanno, wasn't the quickest to start with but I think that has slowed him down a bit more, hopefully I am wrong and he has a brilliant loan spell.

People need to come in terms with the fact, Klopp doesn't rate Flanno. Hence he is sent out on loan. If he was half good as people talk here he would be replacing James Milner at LB.

Just because someone isn't played it's not fair to say the manager doesn't rate them, I'm sure if he was that low down the list klopp would be trying to sell not loan. He's clearly not reached his previous form and perhaps klopp sees a loan move as an opportunity for him to regain form, rather than putting an out form RB as his first choice lb and expecting miracles.

I don't really understand people saying don't put him in its too much pressure. The only reason these kids are in liv youth academy is coz they desperately want a chance in the first team. If Juanma is decent give him a few chances to get a taste of first team footy.
