Is there any truth that Barcelona reps have met with Coutinhos in Brazil to discuss a potential move? I thought it was made up but i'm not so sure now. If so I guess it was only matter of time.

Ed002, Listened to Sharkopod again, can I ask please regarding Dembele, does he know of our interest and do you know were he would prefer to play his football next season? Im aware of the other teams interested and presume he wants Champions league football? Has our interest been mainly with scouts watching I presume or an enquiry? Tganks again for your efforts.

Lfc forever

{Ed002's Note - He will be aware of clubs looking at him and knows of the interest of a couple of sides that have spoken with Celtic but not made an offer. I don't know what he would himself want.}

1.) 20 Mar 2017 14:46:45
Ok mate thank you. Have we spoken with Celtic or am I now pushing my luck? Sorry in advance.

{Ed002's Note - No, Liverpool is not one of the clubs who has spoken with Celtic but they are interested.}

2.) 20 Mar 2017 16:12:32
Ok ed cheers for the info mate, youve been spot on with me and I appreciate it.

3.) 20 Mar 2017 16:15:12
he is going to have plenty of clubs to choose from, we are going to need to be in the champions league to stand any chance of signing a player of this quality.

4.) 20 Mar 2017 16:22:10
Yeah I know Kingkenny. The fact that were interested is a real positive and hopefully of we do get CL league football and were prepared to offer what's required then why not.

5.) 20 Mar 2017 17:40:35
agreed lfc forever plus he will be a regular starter for us as we need a quality striker.

6.) 20 Mar 2017 18:04:56
We live in hope lol. Plenty clubs in for him as eds has said. We might be trying to talk him into Thursday night footy though 😅😅.

7.) 20 Mar 2017 18:16:50
keep the faith lfc forever, we don't need any motivation for the next match!

8.) 20 Mar 2017 19:47:53
Dembele good at 15 mil not at the figures talked about thank you!

9.) 20 Mar 2017 20:29:56
It will take double that Acered at least.

10.) 20 Mar 2017 22:43:29
Dembele 21 it's a risk but he's got everything to his game . He's strong can score goals you can say it's in the Scottish leauge but he also had good games agaist city and Barcelona . He's a stong lad . But like I said it's a risk but sometimes you have to take them to get rewards .

11.) 21 Mar 2017 20:52:10
Considering you spent 35mil on Andy carroll once. 35 Million on dembele wouldn't be bad business. He's going to be a top striker.

12.) 21 Mar 2017 12:14:17
And we learned a good lesson from that deal Angel. We will have to see how much we recoup from sales, especially Sturridge and Sakho.

13.) 22 Mar 2017 06:45:17
Sturridge plus cash deal seems a good option. Studge gets CL footy and a game each week and we get a young striker with great potential.

{Ed025's Note - a game each week?..hes like my wifes libido, once a month does him beddoe.. :)

14.) 22 Mar 2017 23:45:49
Married life eh ed025! 😀.

{Ed025's Note - yeah but what would we do without them beddoe.....ironing, cleaning, washing.... :)

14 Mar 2017 12:34:44
Good day Ed002

Will us eager patient kind reds fans be treated to your latest Sharkopod today mate or are you up against it?

Lfc forever

{Ed002's Note - It will be available later today.}

1.) 14 Mar 2017 12:43:34
Cheers ed. Great stuff.

2.) 14 Mar 2017 16:42:10
Sharkopods are great.
Can't wait, thanks ed002 😘.

{Ed002's Note - It is waiting to be uploaded Ron.}

29 Jan 2017 18:20:27
Eds do West ham have serious interest in Sturridge, and do you expect them to make a move for him?

Lfc forever

{Ed002's Note - West Ham are trying to close out the transfer of another striker so I don't see them chasing Sturridge.}

1.) 29 Jan 2017 18:27:35
Cheers Ed, may I ask who please?

{Ed002's Note - Try the West Ham page.}

2.) 29 Jan 2017 19:29:30
Hogan from Brentford most likely

3.) 29 Jan 2017 20:04:36
I think we rate Sturridge more than other teams and their fans. It won't be as simple as deciding wether to sell or keep in the summer as I don't think any top 8 sides will be in for him and his wages will be prohibitive for the others.

4.) 30 Jan 2017 16:08:55
Barring a huge change in fortunes, Studge is finished at LFC.

5.) 30 Jan 2017 17:09:34
He was sensational when partnered with Suarez, but it seems increasingly that he doesn't fit into the way Klopp sets up the team. China, and a big payday for him and us would be ideal and free up a place for either Woodburn or a new signing.

6.) 30 Jan 2017 22:08:05
Sturridge should have well gone by now we could have got good money for him bearing in mind he is not Euro cuptied an will fit in somewhere other than Liverpool i am not a neg head but our season is over an if we dont't beat Chelsea then i am sorry to say Klopp will have some serious questions to answer

24 Jan 2017 12:11:45
Everyone is saying James Pearce from the Echo has rubbished the Carvalho rumours then ed. Im not sure how reliable he is but always trust you mate. Its just with you saying he is a player we have watched and something can be done then I guess it got my hopes up lol. Can we put it to bed now?

Match report ed?

Lfc forever

{Ed001's Note - I will do it in a sec.}

14 Mar 2017 14:54:40
Ed001. The Echo have announced that the Kop will have a summer face lift to add an extra 470 seats to help accomadate disabled supporters. But in then sais the capacity will not drop below 54000. I don't quite get it? If the sears are extra then surely the capacity will go up?

Lfc forever

{Ed001's Note - obviously just poor use of English mate. They clearly mean there are extra disabled seats going in to replace normal seats, rather than as extra seats over and above what is there.}

1.) 14 Mar 2017 15:03:32
Ah I see. Cheers mate.

2.) 14 Mar 2017 22:14:20
Good on them. My uncle was disabled but his favourite footy club (who he would go watch every game) had a special section set aside for him and his carer (and other disabled fans) . He loved it - was the highlight of his week. Well that and his weekly lunch at the local with his best mate. But he loved the camaraderie with the other fans. They all knew him along with the stadium staff. And because it was a special section it didn't get in the way of the other fans either so didn't cause issues.

{Ed002's Note - It is an FA mandate and not the choice of the club Phil.}

3.) 15 Mar 2017 05:14:14
Good on the FA (for a change)

12 Mar 2017 19:40:22
Match report ed? Inc player ratings?

Lfc forever

{Ed001's Note - done already on the others page mate.}

1.) 12 Mar 2017 20:03:24
Ok. Cheers mate.

10 Mar 2017 13:16:30
Seems Bobby is injured now as well as Hendo and Studge. Ed001 do you get any insight into players fitness beyond what the Echo say? Im hoping Firmino will pull through?

Lfc forever

{Ed001's Note - no, I got asked a long time ago not to post up about team selection and fitness etc, so I made a point of no longer finding out anything other than the club's official releases. I know it would help the site, but club comes first and they asked me not to.}

1.) 10 Mar 2017 13:35:28
Thats fair enough then mate. Makes sense I guess. We have been unlucky with injuries again. I thought Lovren and Hendo only just missed out v Arsenal, must be worse then first thought unless its just fitness.

2.) 10 Mar 2017 17:36:22
Lovren is back in training but not fully fit yet. Hendo is a bit more complicated cos foot injuries are just that, complicated. I truly hope Firmino pulls thru but I have my doubts.

07 Mar 2017 15:28:27
Hi eds. I know its probably early to say but do you expect Henderson, Lovren and Sturridge fit for Burnley? I don't think they trained today.

Lfc forever

{Ed001's Note - Henderson is a possibility, Lovren was supposed to be back to fitness now but Sturridge is out for the month, probably.}

1.) 07 Mar 2017 16:49:16
Ok mate cheers. 2 out of 3 ain't bad and it has to be said that Hendo and Lovren are more important than Studge.

2.) 07 Mar 2017 18:07:03
matip looks decent with klavan tbh. henderson imo is most important.

3.) 07 Mar 2017 18:21:57
It doesn't really bother me on Lovren. He has one critical mistake every game. Either you are punished or you are lucky. Another Klopp's fav trust worthy!

4.) 07 Mar 2017 19:19:22
Agreed harry.

5.) 07 Mar 2017 19:40:08
Lovren has improved some aspects of his game under Klopp. If it was not for Sakho's antics Lovren would have been on the bench and Klavan most likely would not have been signed. However, Klavan's performance vs Arsenal deserves to keep his spot and expect him to feature alongside Matip vs Burnley.

6.) 07 Mar 2017 19:40:59
How do you know he's his fav? Did Klopp or Lovren tell you that? Don't be fooled by Klopp's hugs and public defense of players who clearly are not good enuff. He hugged the life out of Jordan Ibe last season. Remind me of where Ibe is now, again?

7.) 07 Mar 2017 20:29:36
Agree with Noah on this. Klopp is an emotional guy. He goes ballistic when we score. To say Lovren is one of his favourites is quite premature. I doubt Klopp would have blown £20m on Lovren based on one season?

Lovren was left to Klopp from the previous regime. Like I said, if it was not for the Sakho debacle then Sakho would have been lining up alongside Matip this season. No freaking doubt when Sakho was one of the first players on Klopp's team sheet last season.

8.) 07 Mar 2017 20:06:51
Lovren should have been sold last summer for a top class CB. We would be inside top 3 without a doubt had that happened!

9.) 07 Mar 2017 21:14:45
Lovren would have been sold at a considerable loss. We probably still would have to give him away for less than half what we paid for him so easy to say he should have been sold last summer as none of the top teams would have taken him and none the teams lower down the table would have been able to afford his wages.

If we want to get rid of Lovren it will be Liverpool taking a massive hit at this point. We have the exact same problem with Mignolet. We will be stuck with them two unless they decide they want to throw the tell in and look for another club themselves meaning they will have to accept what others are willing to offer.

10.) 08 Mar 2017 10:46:33

And how many teams are in the line for Lovren and Mignolet at present?

11.) 08 Mar 2017 21:36:30
That's the point, Harry. Not many cos they're not good enough. But this is England. As long as we don't price them out of a move, someone will pay decent money for them. See how we got CP and Bournmouth to sign Benteke, Ibe and Smith from us for a combined 55m? Now that's great business from Klopp.
