I have read that LFC have looked at Junior Firpo of Real Betis. The 22 year old is predominantly a Left back but able to cover left wing and CB.

1.) 20 Jun 2019 09:44:33
Looks ideal on youtube. And everybody knows youtube clips are golden when judging a players ability. :)

{Ed002's Note - Firpo is not moving to Liverpool to play as cover - he would be first choice if there were any interest.}

2.) 20 Jun 2019 12:02:12
How is the young lad Anderson Arroyo doing - was his loan to Gent a waste of time?

{Ed002's Note - Anderson Arroyo (LB) will have to be loaned again as WP issues will persist. Questions have arisen that he has struggled to settle and he was not seen as good enough to play for the Gent first team. Relegated Nurnberg and struggling Deportivo de La Coruna are potential options for him - clearly any side in Spain might ease issues with his settling and ease him in to Europe.}

Some French Journo’s are now suggesting Liverpool FC have renewed their interest in Nabil Fekir, however a significantly lower fee would be required for any potential deal to happen.

Have a good evening all.

1.) 13 Jun 2019 04:00:27
I hope we sign him, we wanted him last year and obviously it never happened, im sure he would jump at the chance to sign for us should the chance come again, he fits the bill for what we need so its fingers crossed from me we get this signing done, he offers something different from all of our current midfielders and could provide the magic that turns draws into wins.

2.) 13 Jun 2019 05:45:14
Let's get that Fekir over the line this time!

3.) 13 Jun 2019 09:48:34
We can use the footage from last summer to announce him as a Liverpool player.

12 Jun 2019 15:10:15
Paul Joyce of the Times, has advised that it will take a bid of at least £25m for Liverpool FC to consider the Sale of Lovren. He also stated that the Milan Director is a known admirer of the player, although no offer has been made currently.

1.) 12 Jun 2019 16:36:21
If he went Salah wudnt be too happy them 2 are inseparable.

2.) 12 Jun 2019 17:04:27
He’s an adult, I’m sure he’d be okay. He was happy to get his agent to talk to Madrid, maybe the reason they laughed him out was cos any deal had to include Lovren?

3.) 12 Jun 2019 17:35:52
Now that made me chuckle. Good one Firmane😂.

4.) 12 Jun 2019 17:41:14
We can’t keep people under contract because they have a bromance going on 👯‍♂️.

5.) 12 Jun 2019 18:06:10
Salah is staying.

6.) 12 Jun 2019 21:35:14
If lovren goes Salah will have to suck it up and open up a can of man up and they can see each other if we play them in Europe or they can vacation at mykonos in the summer.

7.) 12 Jun 2019 22:31:12
firmino did alright without coutinho. i get it, salah and lovren seem to have something more romantic going on but it'd be ridiculous that salah would get so 'upset' at his BFF being sold. at that point, ya can sell salah too.

8.) 12 Jun 2019 23:36:41
Think it would stop having Mo from going ahead with his restraining order tbh! Lovrens obsession is a bit unnerving.

9.) 13 Jun 2019 01:06:51
Bobby stayed after Coutinho left!

10.) 13 Jun 2019 09:04:02
Before you guys get all worried about the broken bromance, let's see if AC Milan or any other club is really interested in Lovren.

05 Jun 2019 19:45:20
I have been told that LFC have taken a look at an FC Borneo player by the name of Terens Puhini, it was said that this is with a view to loaning him out to a European side. This all sounds a little far fetched to me, however I thought I would share, as this is a rumours site, any feedback on whether it has legs (highly unlikely I am sure) would be appreciated.

Thanks as always, wishing all a good day.

1.) 05 Jun 2019 21:04:50
MM, ok I'll bite.
I just looked him up on the beloved Youtube and he is fast for a small guy but I'll give him one thing, he plays with his head up and doesn't just hoof it.

2.) 06 Jun 2019 10:50:51
The pitches he plays on are like farm yards an he seems too handle that well which is good the quality of that league though would need a huge step up from him, he is like sh*t of a shovel though, would b boss too get a little hidden gem though bit of klopp magic dust on him an ya never know, could b the next big thing, think he would have too get experience in Europe though .

3.) 06 Jun 2019 11:56:04
I would suspect a WP would be an issue.

4.) 07 Jun 2019 07:43:31
I'm 43, completely out of shape and could still walk into most Malaysian teams. The standard out here is shocking.

25 May 2019 12:50:17
Neil Jones or Goal ( formerly journo for Liverpool Echo) has said that Napoli have made contact with Liverpool for the services of Nathaniel Clyne. They have been heavily linked with a number of right backs, namely Kieran Trippier, so this may well have some legs.

Have a great day all.

MonsterMunch

1.) 25 May 2019 14:04:15
Hope it pans out as it looks like Clyne has no future at LFC. I thought he was a decent buy at first but I hadn't really seen him play that much beforehand and it also seems like there are some behind the scenes issues.

2.) 25 May 2019 15:44:21
He was a bit of a liability off the field.

3.) 25 May 2019 16:15:13
And on the field 😂.

4.) 26 May 2019 12:38:59
We must surely sign a rb this season and even promote lewis or gallagher or buy a lb too. Clyne is gone, he won't play a competitive match again.

Sepp Van den Berg having medical tomorrow.

MonsterMunch

1.) 25 Jun 2019 12:07:04
Anyone know anything about the lad? I youtubed his name and was given a lecture on economics in Rotterdam.

Is he being signed as a youth player or is he expected to be a senior cb? Young hoever looked good and highly confident. Does stefan play lcb by any chance?

2.) 25 Jun 2019 12:38:12
i expect he will go into the u23s. he made about 16 eridvisie appearences last season. he's only 17, i would guess him and Ki Jana will play in the u23's together as they have lost a few players.

3.) 25 Jun 2019 12:42:58
Highly rated but looks like academy this year, guess we will find out more if he signs.

4.) 25 Jun 2019 12:43:25
And isn't hoever dutch? Vvd and now stefan, matip belgium (sort of) that makes a lot of sense to me.

5.) 25 Jun 2019 12:57:38
Why is matip sort of Belgian?

6.) 25 Jun 2019 13:32:21
Firmane, aren't we all sort of Belgian in a way?

7.) 25 Jun 2019 14:04:10
I thought it was just me! I just didn’t know matip was a compatriot!

8.) 25 Jun 2019 14:07:47
Sorry, matip not flemmish but half german. Still in the same part of the world, the language is similar.

9.) 25 Jun 2019 15:26:07
Absolutely right, Robbie. All those who speak Arabic belong to the same country too. We Liverpool fans are absolutely unequalled in our intelligence.

10.) 25 Jun 2019 15:43:22
All the same to me Robbie lad anywhere’s outside of Liverpool is wools mate may as well speak Chinese as cockney.

11.) 25 Jun 2019 17:26:18
You've never seen anything until you've been into a Chinese Chippy in Liverpool, and the Chinese bloke behind the till says "alright laa, wat Yavin mayte? " Mind blown! haha.

12.) 25 Jun 2019 22:10:23
Its not quite the same aray. Three dutch players and a german born player. German and dutch is quite similar.

13.) 25 Jun 2019 22:29:23
Robbie, no more recreational substances and liquids before sunset for you. You were talking about Belgium and Belgians, and all of a sudden the Dutch have made an appearance.

14.) 26 Jun 2019 13:44:17
That was how i started aray, with the dutch angle. But i will take your advice and only get high in the morning. Get more done that way.

15.) 26 Jun 2019 13:44:17

Will be Brighton do us a madness on Sunday, folks?

MonsterMunch

1.) 10 May 2019 08:40:17
You’ve got to have some hope. We have to win as well don’t forget and this Wolves won’t roll over for us. Anything can happen in football!

2.) 10 May 2019 08:43:22
the way this week is going we can pray and hope!

3.) 10 May 2019 08:49:46
After this week anything is possible. I have a weird feeling that it will finish 0-0.

4.) 10 May 2019 09:59:39
It would be a miracle if Brighton got something, but after what we done this week and spurs it will inspire Brighton too believe miracles happen! Anything Is possible!

5.) 10 May 2019 10:44:36
I think Brighton will give there all. I'm sure they do not want to see any club celebrating on their pitch. I expect an incredibly inspired Brighton Sunday.

6.) 10 May 2019 11:03:58
No chance in my view! Brighton will get well beaten, remember, they are 17th.

7.) 10 May 2019 11:46:58
City will put at least 4 passed them. With no reply.

8.) 10 May 2019 12:19:02
20-19 is all I see come Sunday. Miracles do happen and if BHA isn't 17th on the log, then it isn't a miracle. Believe mates!

9.) 10 May 2019 13:47:50
Just remember Man City needed a last minute goal to win their first PL title against an already relegated QPR. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Concentrate on beating Wolves and leave everything else in the lap of the gods. It's all we can do.

10.) 10 May 2019 14:06:34
😂 @ Ugbes, mate you’re getting close to the limit when you say “miracles do happen”.

I definitely think a draw is possible - ManU 0-0 West Ham the year Blackburn won it and we beat Blackburn.

Odd things happen, City needed a near miracle to win the title with the “Aguero moment” whilst playing a relegated team.

Beating Wolves will not be easy, they are a very good team!

02 May 2019 15:11:12
I am calling it. Leicester is will take points off City, we will win remaining games! Not one for predictions but f*ck it! With last nights result and the subsequent fall out, I am going to throw some positive vibes and thinking out there!

MonsterMunch

1.) 02 May 2019 16:23:07
Can you emagine if they do us a big favour, and then go and loose to wolves.

2.) 02 May 2019 16:50:37
What’s this ‘us’? You are clearly not a Liverpool supporter so it should be ‘you’.

3.) 02 May 2019 16:59:47
Walter not going to lie your post made me laugh!

4.) 02 May 2019 18:46:28
Mrs Walter: I've found a huge pot of gold and the authorities have said we can keep it! Wow, we can pay off the mortgage and everything! Look at it!

Walter: Are you sure that pot's not made from asbestos?

5.) 02 May 2019 18:55:11
WW, he is a Liverpool supporter, I'm sure.

He's just either being a WUM or has developed this miserably pessimistic attitude as a defense mechanism so he's treating supporting the club as a zero risk game where he'll always "win" on the basis that if something bad happens he was expecting it, so he won't be disappointed. And if something good happens, well Liverpool won something, so being wrong about it before hand is irrelevant.

Riot to be around in the pub, I'm sure.

6.) 02 May 2019 19:05:15
SR, spot on mate that's how I view Walter too. Although part of me thinks deep down he's as positive as the rest of us yet just loves winding people up lol either way, there's no doubting he loves Liverpool like the rest of us, that's enough for me, I like Walter.

7.) 02 May 2019 19:28:26
With you all the way, OP.

How's you fav. PL club Arsenal doing these days?

8.) 02 May 2019 20:43:51
Well Walter could be proved right at the end of the season. I have to say, I hate it when posters say you're not a fan because you don't have their opinion. It takes all sorts, posters should respect that.

9.) 02 May 2019 21:07:17
Irish Rover, of course everyone is entitled to their opinion but this site is surely for Liverpool supporters to express their opinion with the occasional supporter from another club who comes in peace. Just ask yourself this - have you ever come across a Liverpool supporter anywhere in the world who has only negative opinions about the club, the manager and the players? Because I haven’t.

10.) 02 May 2019 21:50:43
I'm having a skip Walter's post's week I feel my blood pressure may improve.

11.) 02 May 2019 22:23:16
Irish Rover, Wirral Wonder is correct. Walter has been banging on about how Arsenal is better than LFC (how he works that out, beggars belief) all season so pls, he has set himself up to be picked on for prolly not being an LFC fan, just like Harry has been. If he wants to post on here banging on about how Arsenal is better than us and being negative towards us all the time then he should be ready to take the blow-back that comes with it. If Walter can't stand the heat, he should get out of the kitchen.

12.) 03 May 2019 06:14:05
Guys for the love of Fowler I am LFC till I die. Just want the club to do well. nothing more.
Ps yes I think Arsenal a a decent team. I fully expect them to do very well next season.

13.) 03 May 2019 07:02:56
I didn't think this site was to "pick on" a poster. That's the issue.

02 May 2019 08:31:46
Absolutely gutted with last nights result, as we all are. I was really pleased with the way we performed, seemed very much in control and remained calm even after conceding the first and second goals, there was a belief we would nick a goal. We had a good few opportunities to score, 2 of which would have been scored 9 times out of 10. Sadly, we just weren’t clinical enough, Barcelona were. That Messi free kick was ridiculous. It makes for a tough second leg, knowing that we can’t concede and also score 3 just to take to Extra time, but we have to play the game, so when there is a game, there is always hope, we overturned a 3 goal deficit in 45 minutes in Instanbul against a fine Milan side, so there is no reason we can’t do the same. Here’s hoping. On to Newcastle! WE GO AGAIN!

MonsterMunch

1.) 02 May 2019 09:59:27
I couldn't agree more with your take on the game. It might seem difficult from a point but for the return leg to be in front of the fans, is the best time to react. We were the better side all through and yet tasted defeat. We need to continue to push and let's see what the end of the season holds. Regardless of the end, this is a BIG STEP forward for the club and we are two to three players short of matching MAN CITY.

2.) 02 May 2019 10:09:56
Not sure it’s a good idea invoking we go again. Last time Gerrard got all players in a huddle after a game and repeated those words it didn’t turn out as well as we would have liked.
